Incredibly impressive air flow for a PCI slot cooler. It feels like a PCI cross section of a box fan. Manufacture rated 60 CFM, not what Newegg states. requires up two PCI slots, but I only have one card in the technique I place it in. I can not comment on audible dB. Installed in a rack complete of loud electronic test gear so I can't comment on how quiet it is. Making use of it in the leading slot to pull air away from the processor (rack mount chasis doesn't have complete sized rear exhaust)

- Cost- Effortlessly added to existing rigs- Sufficient fan for pushing airEven though there's a lot of text beneath, don't let that rule-out this product. I attempted to clarify myself nicely, and this solution will perform well for several users. Just know exactly where it falls short, so that you can make an proper decision. The fan has no adjustable speed (due to the molex alternatively of a fan connector). Anytime power is supplied to the molex cable, the fan spins at full-speed. Due to the energy cable getting a pass-via molex, you can't straight modify the voltage devoid of supplying also a lot/little voltage to any device you could have plugged in the other side of the cable. The fan didn't extent far enough back into my case to efficiently get rid of heat from the GPU. It's a larger card, and it was sitting below the front of the card, rather far from the actual GPU heat sink. Also, when installing this fan into the next slot down from a graphics card, the clearance among the two is minimal. This causes the fan to move a lot significantly less air about. To get any valuable air-flow, I had to move it an extra slot down. What this means: SLI-users must look elsewhere. Then again, if you spent a lot on an SLI-setup, you really should have the money to acquire a much better cooling remedy. Immediately after owning this fan for roughly a year, it lastly bit the dust. The fan does nevertheless spins and moves air, but as everyone knows about fans, the bearing at some point goes out and it is all of a sudden quite loud. Loud adequate that I had to get rid of it. It was significantly louder than something else in the room, audible even on prime of loud music. On the other hand, there were no discernable temperature alterations when this occurred, so regardless of becoming really annoying, your rig won't overheat.Rosewill tends to make high quality devices for the provided price-variety.If you get this device, it will execute to expectations.

Clever concept obtaining a pci fan. Even though it can be areas wherever you have an available case slot open. It moves a excellent portion of air and is extremely quiet. Decent length energy connector It is only getting held on by the single screw that attaches to the case itself. Would have been nice if it had a plastic tab to really fit snuggly into a pci slot. This isn't a substitute for a decent 80mm-120mm case fan, but it makes a good supplement.

Excellent for cooling my 7900!Keeps my temps down on my GPU and DDR3 memory. Good for my overheated overclocked videocard.Quiet!Cheap! None Utilized this in an array of three FM82 Silverstones, and two generic 30cfm. Practically 200CFM case flow at about 40db. CPU Temp - 82*FMobo Temp - 79*FSpace Temp - 76*F And thats with an AMD 4200 X2, 2GB DDR, 7900GS @ 600mhz.

This is a excellent way to add that small extra bit of cooling to your technique. I purchased two of these - one particular to help deal with an ATI card that runs a bit as well hot and 1 for a quad-monitor system. This issue moves a fair amount of air and is quite quiet. A decent worth and a fantastic option if you require a lot more air movement in a component of your case not accessible by a case fan. it is a bit cheesy - but for the value it works (so far) and is quiet.

It allowed me to over clock my 7600GT far more. It cooled my card down even following the overclock. The thing loves dust. It completely cleaned my 7600GT of all the dust around the GPU's fan. I looked at it a single day and the whole casing of this case fan was covered in a layer of dust. straightforward wipe fixed it up but I don't want to open my case up each and every few weeks just to wipe the caseing of the fan. Good fan. Obtain it low-cost and powerful. Just watch the vent and make confident dust isn't building up.

I put one particular of these below my Vid Card and it took off four-8 degrees celcius off my more than clocked ATI 1950. At maxed overclock with stock fan, I was sustaining 48 degrees on standard load and was at an typical of 59ኘ on max load, from 54 standard to 68 max. Not really a con, but it is bulky I bought 3 of these to aid vent heat out of my case, the most heat was drawn from my vidcard, much more so than my cpu. I have one beneath the CPU, beneath my vid and beneath my X-FI Fata1ty. Following 4 hrs of gaming I stuck my hand behind the fans, and I did really feel some heat becoming drawn out. Fantastic product, does it job and took down my overall temp by a great eight celcius. Fortunately I had the area to hold 3 of these.

It operates well and keeps my GPU cooler. Takes a whilst for it to spin up to full speed. I'd highly suggest you get this for your fanless GPU or to assist with case flow.

Good top quality fan for extra cooling, It draws a the exact same quantity of air or far more as a stock case fan on the back , its like getting 2 fans, but its on the bottom portion of the cass, cools and disapates the heat from pci and pci express slots if you have cards in their. None except takes up a slot.. but you wouldnt order it if you did not have a added slot in the first location. its works fantastic and it was a combo when it purchased so it was included with my case! just paid for shipping..

five-mintue installation, permitted me to overclock my card even greater. None, unless you mind losing an expansion slot I'm enjoying this even though it lasts, when I get my sound card and my Television tuner, I'm gonna have to move it to the blank slot above my card :(

Brought my GPU temp down to 53C idle from about 56-57. I assume this fan's primary objective is really to stop it from receiving substantially hotter when it's put below anxiety. 53C is nevertheless a small on the hot side. Be positive to location this in the slot Right next to your video card. I initially had it one particular slot away given that I had some cables blocking the adjacent slot, and it really brought my temps UP to 59C idle. Unplugged the cables that were blocking, put this thing in that slot and voila.

light, moves a bit of air, low cost a vga fan usually takes up a pci space. can't be avoided. I'd also like to note that most of the heat from my graphics card comes from the best, which is why there's a hotspot about my nb. Gonna have to figure some thing out.

Effortless to install. Slide it into 1 of the back slots screw the thing back on then plug it in and it's operating. This thing pumps out air rapidly. Absolutely nothing I noticed. My temperature of my GFX is nonetheless a bit normal as it was prior to getting this. It's a fantastic card you really should get it. It is affordable but this factor can last you along time.

It functions. It fits in nice and snug, and its quiet. None really I had this subsequent to an 8800 GT that was overheating. It took down the temps by about 7 degrees, but it just couldn't do adequate. I could usually really feel hot air receiving blasted out by this factor, so it did it's job as advertised extremely nicely.
