Pros: Price, Crucial brandis very good

Bought for an older computer, and has drastically helped the speed of his system. Very good 184 Pin ram and at a reasonable price to.

Pros: Nothing really, just good ol' RAM

I bought for my sister who has an ancient PC with a measly 256MB of RAM, this stick made her machine respond much, much faster.

Cons: Needs More Voltage To Be Stable At Higher Timings/SpeedsWill Not Do 2-2-2-5-2T Timings What So Ever

Pros: Lifetime WarrantyCheap (When I Bought Them)2.5V Default Voltage
Comment:
I have two of these sticks running stable using timings of 3-3-3-6-2T on 2.85V c 225MHz. They also can run at 2.5-2-2-5-2T on 2.7V c 200MHz. They can also do 2.5-3-3-6-1T c 200MHz. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-22-08 11:48 PM

Cons: outdated

Pros: got it on sale for a decent price
Comment:
Bought this to complement a work PC, it needed a bit more ram and this smoothed things out for it. I wouldn't recommend getting DDR for anything other than old systems, to breathe a bit of life in your work machine.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: It works in an iMac G4 17"!
Comment:
I needed to max out the internal DRAM in my iMac G4 17" while I had it opened up to install a new hard drive. I didn't want to have to upgrade the RAM in the future cause it's a pain opening up the base. So that meant 1 GB internal 184 pin PC2100 DIMM.Since this mem was on sale I took a chance to try it out. Physical size worked in the iMac. After putting it back together it booted up fine. It's been running well for 3 days with no issues.

This RAM is nothing special. I installed this in an older server, boosting its memory from 1 GB to 2 GB. DDR RAM is more expensive than DDR2 RAM (per MB/GB), but it's your only option if you have a DDR motherboard.

Pros: Cheap, great improvement over 2X256MB
Comment:
This RAM is excellent and affordable. I was putting it in an MSI Hetis motherboard that only has two DIMM slots and each were populated with a 256MB stick. This RAM went in and instantly increased my performance 100%. My lagging PC is not exactly a speed demon, but it's MUCH faster than it used to be!

Cons: more expensive than DDR2, but that's not Crucial's fault

Pros: low pricelifetime warrantyCrucial quality
Comment:
I bought four sticks for my AGP Power Mac G5, bringing it up to 4GB. This RAM was instantly recognized as it is JEDEC standards compliant, SPD set to DDR400 3-3-3-8. Unlike the picture, my RAM came with square BGA chips and not rectangular TSOP chips -- even better! These sticks are shorter than most sticks of RAM, so clearance is even less of an issue for those with long video cards or heatsinks. This RAM is currently priced lower than cheapo generic sticks, but offers lifetime warranty from a reputable company. It is a very good buy for people happy with their current computers.

Cons: - very low tollerance, if you have a powersupply that has large voltage fluctuations this ram won't be happy- not for overclockers

Pros: - does what it is advertised to do- price, if you shop around you can find this for under $80CDN/stick as 2007-04-18
Comment:
I was hesitant to buy this stuff ....it was just too cheap in comparison to everything else on the market at the time I bought it.I bought 2x 1GB sticks with the intention to run in dual channel.Firstly I installed it in a machine that was slightly overclocked (unintentionally by 7%) and the system was not happy at all, blue screens shortly after boot. I set the clock back where it was supposed to be and the system booted normally without issues. But the ram auto-detected at 333mhz in dual channel mode.I manually set the ram to 400mhz and rebooted and all is good. I'm running dual-channel mode and it's stable.I ran some test utilities, and torture test as a sort of mini burn in, followed by a full cycle of memtest and no errors at all.I'm running this with an Opteron 175 and an Asrock 939Dual-Sata2Neil

Cons: Whats a Weakness?

Pros: -Cheap-Stable-You can buy lots since its so cheap and works very well, can even OC a bit with this too!
Comment:
You get what you pay for, and a little bit more. Over the last while Crucial and their Rendition line of RAM...continuing on into the DDR2 level, have made quite a name for themselves. This ram is no exception and works great. If you still are into DDR Ram, this is a good buy, although DDR2 is now about as cheap. I just noticed i never reviewed this yet so I though t I would to get my points. Thanks NCIX!

Pros: - nice price
Comment:
I bought this for the sake of filling up my second slot since the price was nice.Although just to warn some. After installing this 2nd gig (2gb total) I have issues putting cpu to sleep. I fixed the hibernation problem. Of course this has nothing to do with the RAM itself but moreso that i put in 2gb (win xp)I don't think i'm using the 2gb to the fullest. I basically only use my cpu for programming. However for the price I figured it was nice.

Pros: Price, solid performance, some overclock potential

No real complaints with this ram, been able to overclock it to ddr 480 speeds without any extra cooling or voltage. Haven't had any luck lowering timings at ddr 400 speeds. If it is on sale it is a good buy.

this stick is good value memory, never had any trouble with it. I don't know if it will OC much due to the limited OC capabilities of my mobo, but i have it running at 200MHz 2.5-3-3-7

Cons: cant underclock!?!

Pros: Cheap 1gb sticksTwo of them run Dual channel
Comment:
I bought two of these for a gaming rig (S939). After some work, I got them running in dual channel at 3-3-3-8 1T at 200mhz(DDR400). However, as I attempted to try the old "isolate then consolidate" strategy on them, I found that they refuse to underclock! This might be a motherboard problem, but it doesn't look that way. These ram chips simply refuse to work (in my case) with a CPU/14 divider. Still, I can't really complain, they already have outperformed thier original specs in the area of overclocking. I have gotten to 217 HTT with these with no problems (at the above timings).

Cons: -initial problems with mobo-not great for oc'ing

Pros: cheap...cheap?...umm...cheap
Comment:
This is a great deal for bumping up the RAM for my budget build. Initially, I had problems installing this RAM two different mobo's. For some reason, the 'auto' settings didn't get along with my RAM. I just manually adjusted the clock settings to the right speed, and the sticks worked like a charm.
