Did specifically what it was ordered for and did not cost considerably. Got it to speed up a low finish Vista machine for a friend. He's in no way seen it run so properly. Can't get these sort of prices for the highend memory I want for my own machine. :) Perfect for upgrading a common low expense computer. |

place it in, worked wonderful. have triple channel memory slots but only got 1 stick for 20$, shouldve gotten an additional. it runs great, keeps smooth under loads like photoshop and video editing and so forth. not confident it affects gaming but the games ran smooth, excellent switching in between apps and movies and stuff. NONE its just great. Its RAM, not a lot to say, just plug and play :D |

this memory appears to be ideal for the atom boards - quick, stable and correct timing. Below full load it nonetheless performs exceptional. Ideal bang for the buck if you are building the atom single or dual core boards. none so far I am a massive fan of super talent memory. Nonetheless, this memory is quite inexpensive for what I wanted, which was to create quick internet computers. I utilized this memory on an atom 230 and an atom 330 mother board, nicely - 4 of them to be precise. Way above expectations and really pleased. You want value, this is it. And Newegg - thanks for finding us some good low-cost memory. |

Low-cost. Sufficient for my purposes. None. Plugged into a Biostar Socket 478 board -- simple program for word processing, world wide web and music recording. Possibly not the ram you want for higher end applications or OC, but fantastic for my setup. NewEgg experience usually initial class. |

Budget value, in no way had challenge in the previous with Crucial merchandise. Vista (ugh!) runs considerably far better now. Most wonderful, Ubuntu ten.04 ࿀-bit) is lightning fast Memory timings seem to be on the slow-paced side even compared with the OE ram already in the computer. I needed to speed up an old laptop (core two duo) running Vista with 1Gb RAM. Mobo (intel) took the single stick in a mixed configuration ƒx512mb dual channel, 2gb stick on single) with no challenges. Had to stick to DDR2-5300 so I could max out ram @ 8Gb in some future.If you are looking for a speed bump on an otherwise common-goal laptop (my son does some simple gaming , you will not be disappointed.Hope receiving another stick soon and set up a 64-bit Ubuntu
