very, incredibly nce. sleek style. sturdy if you hold it generlly low. all the legs have angle measurements so it will be sturdy if you match all the angles. keeps the laptop cold. good staying off your lap. off the rosewill web page, its one hundred so your saving 40 typically and 60 for the laptop deal.mouse guard is good for restinig your hands. the max the stand goes up to is 21 inches, so itsreeally just to preserve it cool and off your lap. it i much more of a lapdesk like they stated, dont count on a stand. keep in mind the length of the lapdesk, mine is fantastic but yu dont want to obtain something that doesnt match

Purchased this stand at โish incl. shipping. Goal - all objective stand for use following knee surgery Pros: Versatility. Any angle functions. Lying on back with leg suspended in the icing machine -> Tilt the stand so it drops practically vertical, watch a movie on your lappie or even type comfortably. Sitting upright in bed, move the surface horizontal have b'fast. Sit on a sofa, drop the surface again, slot a book/ notes into the groove and take mark up text whilst reading.- Size: Major sufficient to hold a lge lappie ྱ"+). Great for films -or your b'fast.- Weight: It is light. Any lighter, it would be flimsy - they got it just right. CONS: - Not affordable. In the end it is made in China light aluminium... but it works.- Fiddly adjustment - but you get versatility in exchange. Enjoy it. Not low-cost for a stand, but nothing much better out there. This is good for the injured or plain lazy slobs alike.

Does pretty substantially what you expect it to do. I got 1 due to the fact I use two computers (one for gaming a single for web, chat, and so forth.) and wanted to be able to have two keyboards occupying about the similar space. The only other alternative would have been to get an arm mounted tray, and I don't really have a location to mount 1. None that I can think of. This will probably be far more helpful later on for numerous other purposes.

You can't aid but be just amazed at what Rosewill comes up with. With this Lapdesk--they have exceeded their feel-tank reputation again. This is the very best. I have a sound studio and am using this as my Laptop holder for my keyboard setup. It is sturdy, sturdy and appears really, really impressive. This is a must have for any individual who performs with Laptops or Mackie 1202 soundboards. It is incredibly cool to the touch and keeps your gear the similar. It is worth your income. Honestly, I can't see a single as long as you're not planning on abusing it. Rosewill is the most impressive manufacturer out there. My studio is full of Rosewill items--fans, situations, paper shredder(excellent), and several and sundry cables and parts. And all inexpensive for all of us who Must know the true value of a dollar.

Initial of I I generally don't create testimonials unless I am chafed off or if I am overly impressed... This is the latter, and I have to say that I say dido to pretty considerably almost everything the reviewer before me stated. I also have a 17" "beast", I agree, and it fits it no problem, nonetheless the leading flat panel is a tiny smaller sized than I hoped for - I also wanted to use a mouse along side. Nonetheless the unbelievable adaptive legs on this thing are fantastic! I honestly have come up with three kick-arss position-settings for three distinct spots at household, and on the road. The joints or pivot spots are uncomplicated push-to-unlock move it and it automatically pops back to lock when you hit the next angle, which is nicely marked in degrees! I also am incredibly picky when I shop and that's why I appreciate Newegg, so if you are in the industry for a tray, don't waste your time and get this. Plus, if you can get it on sale like I did for ฽ with FS, then you'd be a nincompoop not to grab it up! Was hoping for a tiny bigger surface, but it's no dilemma at all and I have a 17" so... extremely shocked to locate how light it is!

I picked this up just before newegg up'd the price tag on it.. For 50 buckaroos its a nice toy. If you like to lay in bed, or on the couch, and use your laptop you will want one particular of these, extremely good for laying down and 'putering.... The tray demands to be deeper so the laptop will sit down flat on the tray, mine 15" laptop rest on the back of the tray.It desires 2 60mm fans on the bottom of it. Why have a laptop stand or tray with out some fans... stupid.. newegg could have completed much better on the design.. (we all know that Rosewill is Neweggs residence brand) This thing genuinely only demands two issues to go from a fantastic laptop stand to an superb, everybody desires one particular, laptop stand.Im taking mine to my buddys property and we are going to cut the tray off, take a piece of aluminum that is deeper than the tray and weld it back on. Just before we weld it on we are going to reduce 2 holes for fans... Then it will be great and I wont be able to reside with out it...

Adjustable. Affordable plastic stand with semi-flimsy metal prime. The kind of junk I steer clear of at Department Stores and should have avoided here. I have a typical couch, and fully extended the best barely stands over the couch cushion.

* Rosewill please take note below: This is critical and I hope Rosewill will take note. The table has a lip that holds your laptop in location as you rotate the table to close to vertical. That lip is just the edge of the material. IMHO that edge demands a rubber edge guard to retain it from digging into the laptop. Some thing equivalent to a edge guard on a automobile door wood do nicely. I am going out to an auto components store to get some plastic edge guard to place more than the rolled edge. I hope Rosewill will make it a common portion of the table Manufacturer Response:Dear Buyer, We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your fantastic advise. Our engerineers are looking into the style and will make recommdation to us.Thank you and we actually like client like you who let us know your thought. Simple idea, yields a suprisingly versatile, lightweight, sturdy stand (as lengthy as don't get carried away - created for laptops, and such ... not to hold a load of bricks.)Bookstand, Laptop desk (various heights, for wife, and I), Lapdesk, Tv-tray, foldsflat. So versatile, hard to opt for a configuration - temps me to get an additional. Surprising # of selections for simple idea. Finest to put on it's side even though you arrange the pivots .... Easy to adjust, so ... straightforward to get the opposing angles out of sync. After finish experimenting, may possibly use a magic marker to put ticks at the angles I use the most.

Really adjustable. Aluminum tray feels solid and is fairly wide. Numerous folding positions. The unit wobbles. Legs really feel low cost. The push button is tricky to use with two hands you will need a 3rd hand or push up with your knees to adjust the tray height. You require a really flat surface for the unit to function properly ie your bed with the blankets is not a very good spot. This unit is nonetheless much better than the aluminum tray that I had ahead of which has failed once and the 2nd 1 is really flimsy with horrible adjustments. Adjusting the legs is not as well poor if you can read the number markers but adjusting the tray is incredibly challenging with only 2 hands due to the fact you need to have to Simultaneously press each buttons while raising the tray with your 3rd hand.

Larger than expected - makes it nice for placing a usb hub or external difficult drive next to my M15X. Not enough space for a mouse, but I knew that going into it. It's crazy versatile. I'm an architect and figuring out all the techniques to adjust this thing is just downright enjoyable. I use this for setting up my DJ equipment and it has lots of room underneath to put my controllers, drives, sound cards, headphones, etc. Larger than expected - it doesn't fit in my currently oversized DJ bag, but the only stands that do appear to fit are overpriced, so it's not so negative.Would be good if it had some sort of finish on the legs to generate a tiny more friction. If setting this up on the end of a smooth table it gets a small scary, thinking that if it gets bumped, you are losing almost everything.

Lightweight; folders flat for easy storage; lots of alternatives for adjustments; pivot points lock in place and are effectively marked with angles; metal arms & surface Cumbersome to adjust; not deep adequate if your laptop has rear plugs (I only have a 14" screen); plastic pivot points I had to use the underside of the surface so that I could take advantage of the lip on the bottom edge and so that rear plugs could be utilized.

OK, so 1st impression was precisely as expected as far as construction goes... Weight was essentially way much less than anticipated! Now, and I must have caught this, but the width of the actual flat best was shorter than I hoped for (b/c the dimensions integrated the layers of legs extended outward. NOW, in no way am I saying this is cramped... Please be aware that it fits With no A Difficulty, even so I was just hoping to be in a position to fit my mouse along side... But again, I have a 17 inch beast so if you have a 15.six screen or so, you'll fit beautifully and have room for a mouse. Appear, I in no way write critiques but I'm hammered correct now and this thing is seriously German engineering at its finest (no idea if it's German). Here's the great explaination of why this is super duper awesome! It is strong lightweight aluminum with 3, yes three batman, pivot points withing the legs that rotate 360 DEGREES!!!! And not only that, they mark the joints with lines and exact angles which includes - & + 180 If you try to stand it at maximum height, it can be unstable, but that's b/c it's so light! I am incredibly quite picky, and shop way way way around just before I get. Once once again Newegg comes thru with a good item at a even much better price tag (I've been watching it for months on a couple websites).

good, appears tough adequate. some men and women commented on the legs getting breakable.. as long as you are a semi-intelligent particular person you can handle this. it is a matter of pushing in a locking button and turning to desired position. you don't want a third hand mainly because physics is your friend, due to gravity and the truth the aluminum plate has mass it will fall to exactly where you will need it to. or you can merely move a single side at a time. it aluminum construction on the major plate, therefor it acts a heat spreader and moves heat way from your laptop faster. Makes a loud clicking noise as the legs snap into place, not a massive deal. the geometry of the key plate is kinda strange. it a small wider than it needs to be and it could be a small longer. i got this item for my girl buddy mainly because she always desires to use her laptop in bed and it usually gets very hot from lack of ventilation. this seriously helps with that plus it raises it off of her. my gf loves it and she is not a techie at all. she also makes use of it to read magazines and do crossword puzzles on. i guess you could also use it as a food tray table as nicely, but i have not produced her breakfast in bed but.. lol.

Reasonably light weight, aluminum construction, flexibility. Seems flimsy even though adjusting, and the joints seem like they might wear out more than time; also soon to inform, even so. I wish the ends of the legs had some sort of non-slip surface, but that's an simple enough repair. I'm working with this at function to elevate my new Asus G73SW laptop (which is massive and heavy). There is a small side-to-side wobble if the desk moves or if I move the stand, but it appears to do the job just fine. My largest be concerned is that it might slide off the edge of the desk on one particular side and tumble the whole setup to the floor, therefore the thought about non-slip tape or a thing on the legs where they touch the desk. All in all, I'm pleased. Minus a single egg for the high quality of construction, but truly, for the price I consider it's a good item and I'm happy I purchased it.

Been working with this with a 15.6 laptop in bed and on the couch. Seriously enjoy it. It's also excellent for these huge laptop or computer books! From reading other evaluations, I am careful when adjusting the positions. General this is a extremely usefull item. Not a major deal but another 4 1ǘ inches in width would be great for a laptop mouse.

Holds issues... off the floor. Does not support a lot weight, legs bow at full extension. I am 5Ə and at full extension it doesn't even come to knee height. I can not sit at a standard-sized chair and have it on my lap, it doesn't reach my lap when sitting, its considerably shorter than my laptop or computer chair and all other chars in our whole property for that matter. The lapdesk would be perfect with an additional segment... presently there are three, two contribute to height while the 3rd is the base.

None however given that the stand in no way worked out of the box. 1 of the switch just wouldn't go in when pressed so I couldn't set it up. So far, everything. I've been looking forward to be in a position to comfortably work on my laptop even though sitting on bed or other locations but I open the product, attempt to set it up, and it doesn't perform. How about sending me a product that is not defective and in fact performs? Never had this sort of difficulty with Newegg but I am sorely disappointed. Great design and many adjustable positions that let you discover the best one particular based on the circumstances. Above average quality metals and all really solid except wondering about the plastic bushings but for cost can not be beat. If you have the space obtain one for the other individual occupying the bed or there will be a lot of the non-excellent moaning goin on! None genuinely wonderful price-create-performance ratio and if bushing remains intact anticipate a useable 5 years out of solution at a minimum. Rosewill continues to amaze with the value they present for the income. Bear in mind, purchase 1 for your other bed occupant or expect no peace! Or is it piece?

* if you need to have a solution for lying in bed, this is a great. It will permit you to hold your laptop near vertical even though laying on your back* if your'e looking for a stand that will be location on the floor and extended all the way to its max height, it's not the greatest solution* Value here is drastically less costly than elsewhere* lightweight and little when folded up. * It can be hard to setup but when you've got it set to the right position, it's fine but, finding there can be a discomfort* It isn't the sturdiest thing on the planet. If you want to know how to set this in the proper positions and see what's possibled google lapdawg. When I saw this here on sale, I grabbed it and I am glad I did. The pros outweigh the cons for my scenario.

Very sturdy and versatile...also works wonderful as a manual/book holder...excellent for operating in an straightforward chair or recliner....Wouldn't advise it as a breakfast tray although. Button locks with angles are a nice touch..makes a excellent Xmas gift. :) I fyou can really say this is a con: A small too huge and complicated to be truly portable...operates well about the home or office although. Perhaps on extended overnight trips in hotels in such...but not one thing I would haul about to coffee houses and the park 'n such.
