The only reason this product has reduced ratings fro Features and Peformance are because of the software and instructions. They tend to be somewhat ambiguous but once you get past that, the product is rock solid. |

I ordered this product as a Christmas gift. Two days later I received an e-mail stating item was on backorder. I called to confirm item would be available for Christmas. Come to find out, item was in stock, and didn't know why it said back order. They cancelled first order and re-ordered. A day later, I get a backorder notice again. I call, they cancel order and re-order. Again, I receive e-mail stating item is on back order. How many more times does this have to happen for them to figure out there is a problem? I'm loosing faith with this company. Good luck to anyone else ordering this item. |

I bought this to back up our computers on our wireless 'N' lan through my Netgear router and it works perfect! I have added a second 500gb. Seagate hard disk and a third for an external back up. It configures and syncs the two drives in about an hour. Great product for the money, wish I would have bought a bigger one. |

Purchased this product primarily to serve as an backup image repository for several computers. Use it in conjuction with Norton backup...proved to be very reliable (over 1 year now)..only 1-2 downtimes due to power outages. Haven't really begun to use many of the other features of this product.... |

I originally bought this for the Squeeze Center add-on and to house my .mp3 files. I've since found it to be a great way to network photos and documents throughout my house. I've found the speed to be a bit slow when I transfer files, but that's more an inconvenience than a flaw. I like that it can email you error messages and you can set the timer to have it startup and shutdown at certain times. Fan is a bit noisy. Just purchased a second hard drive to add for backup. It appears to be a pretty easy to do. |
I purchased this product for my small start-up business. Configuration was dead easy, even without installing the utility. I think the build quality is excellent, and it is much more quiet than I expected. The features are like overkill, so much so that I recommend reading the manual before changing the default settings. I have only done a few changes, like adding shares. I could go on and on, so I will just end here. Overall, an excellent buy for me.
