Cons: - Mouse wheel button click a bit on the shallow side

Pros: - Perfect shape for my fingertip grip- Excellent sensor- Software works well- High side buttons can be used for leverage to lift the mouse
Comment:
For all eternity I have been using ambidextrous mice with a fingertip grip, most recently I had been using a Razer Abyssus which I replaced with the same after the first one broke from wear & tear.I finally decided it was time to experiment, so after much research I picked up a Roccat Savu, I tried for 2 months but the sandpaper sides were far too slippery for me. I then tried the Logitech G400s (didn't like the shape of the right side), Steelseries Sensei (didn't like the side button placement plus the software package is a mess), and finally came back to this one which I had been warned with it's smooth rubber is even more slippery than the Savu. I've had it for 8 days and have no idea what those people were talking about, it's several magnitudes easier to grip with my dry hands than the Savu, while carrying the same sensor and having similar shape and weight. I have now found my perfect mouse.

Cons: - Kind of slippery texture, but you get used to it pretty fast.- No 4d mouse wheel.

Pros: - Great tracking (my first optical "gaming" mouse)- Awesome mouse wheel (seriously, the best I've seen)- Simple and sleek software offering a ridiculous amount of customization- Good form factor for claw or fingertip grip.
Comment:
I needed a mouse as a replacement for my G9, which I loved dearly, so my expectations were high. I first got a g500s, which was way too big and uncomfortable for my fingertip grip and the mouse wheel felt flimsy compared to the one on the g9. I then did some research and decided to go with this one from Roccat, a company that I didn't know previously. This mouse is just plain awesome, the build quality is great and the tracking is very precise. I don't know if it is the optical sensor that makes it this good but I can say that the tracking just feels more "natural". Also, the mouse wheel on this thing is simply the best out there.Coming from the G9, I would have loved to see this model come with a mouse wheel with side scrolling buttons, since its big brother the kone xtd has it, but this isn't a big deal. Also, the sides of this mouse have a velvety texture that feels slippery at first (if I had written this review 5 days ago, it would have been very negative because of that) but you get used to it pretty fast... I'm very glad I didn't send it back because of that (as I planned for a moment). The drivers software is very sleek and simple to navigate, despite the many options offered. You can customize everything. I read somewhere that you couldn't remap the "easy switch" button and this got me worried. This isn't the case, you can set it to whatever you want. You can also shut down the lighting and the drivers "voice" if you want. All in all, Highly recommended!

Cons: Now some may find this a con, which is the coating. Its really Good tho if you have clammy hands. If you have very dry hands stay away from this mouse.

Pros: Optical sensor is one of the best on the market.Great for fps games.
Comment:
Ive always went the way of Logitech for their great support.I'm a big fps player and heard optical sensors are better at tracking. So I bought this mouse and let me tell you. The tracking is much better in BF3 then my g500. You don't realize how much the laser actually overcompensates movements. My accuracy went up a few percent it was that bad. If you play fps's go with optical.

Cons: Thumb buttons are awkwardMouse size is way too smallPinky side of mouse is uncomfortableHigh Lift off distanceAwkward to lift due to shape, makes lift off distance feel worseMay lose tracking due to lift off distanceMouse texture is very slippery rubber type feel (I don't sweat/oil)May have minor positive accelVery difficult to do 'tracking' shots due unable to gripObnoxious software, including achievements? You can however disable all the sound for them so it won't disturb you at all

Pros: Very responsive optical sensor (a3090)Amazing mouse feet/glide feelVery well made buttons/switches/cord
Comment:
Basically the mouse itself is built very well, has a great glide, and a really great sensor. Then all of that is thrown away with the texture of the mouse being slippery, the size being way too small for any normal person I'd know (myself included) the software is just too much for people who use optical sensors which is mainly competitive fps players, all we really need is adjust hz/dpi; extra buttons on the mouse is more for someone playing an MMO, you never want your hand to be moving around your mouse while aimingAlso the shape of the mouse is quite weird, I guess you could claw grip it but the general population tends to palm grip mice and very few players actually claw/fingertip and there's already an excess of mice that work for these playersSo my first product from roccat, maybe in the future they can do a re-make who knows.. someone just needs to de-throne razer, because the razer sensor is consistent but not the best, heck even the sensor in this mouse felt way more accurate (although it did lose tracking which I've never experienced on the deathadder) and was more responsive, because the deathadder has some weird type of smoothing effect/interpolation.. but the shape of the mouse and lift off distance mixed with the size and feel just make it not the product for me.I'm hoping zowie can get a re-do on their EC1 eVo series and get that sensor working flawlessly because that mouse was a complete joy to hold and use.Anyway, not saying nobody should buy this.. but if you're serious about fps, have large hands, then unfortunately this probably isn't the product for you.TL;DR?Great sensorGreat mouse feetGreat mouse build qualityPoor texturePoor Size (dimensions)Poor Shape"Too much" driver software, I'd rather have no software and just change dpi/hz from the mouse itself (much like how zowie perfected)So this mouse receives a 3/5 from me
