Cons: - For the price, absolutely none.

Pros: - Awesome, if not the best cost to performance ratio
Comment:
Even better that I got it on sale for $20. Ii don't even think there's anything better I can get for this amount. I was planning to get this even at the regular price of $30. I am SO glad I waited.

Cons: lol

Pros: -Price-Great cooling-Super quiet
Comment:
I got this for $20 during a sale and it's so good. I put it on my Phenom II x4 955 that was using the awful stock cooler and not only is it a whisper compared to the stock cooler but it dropped my temps 10 degrees at idle and from a retarded 80C to 50C at full load. Also great for overclocking. Gets a little louder of course but still not that bad. Can't find anything bad to say about this heatsink!

Cons: A real PITA when it comes to installation. The instructions are difficult to follow, and I had to put a SCARY amount of torque on my board to get the bracket to hold tight (the bracket uses 4 nuts to hold in place; mine kept coming loose when I went to remove the cooler so I finally took a couple pairs of pliers to it haha). Also, it's not a flat design so it's difficult and takes a LOT of TIM to fill the gaps between the copper. I wasted about 1/2 a tube of Arctic Silver 5 getting it to seal properly with the CPU, and that stuff isn't cheap!

Pros: -Great cooling-Price (around $30)-Fairly quiet
Comment:
$90 worth of cooling power for 1/3 of the price. Overall a very good buy! Would recommend to anyone wanting to OC on air or just lower their temps in general, however BE PREPARED to WRESTLE with this thing to get it to mount on your board (and try not to break anything in the process).Great product!

Cons: Bigger than I thought (but its honestly my fault)

Pros: Keeps my Athlon II X4 630 cool.
Comment:
As other have said, instructions aren't the easiest. The diagrams a super small. Its sort of a play along as you go installation. As for performance, its fairly good. It performs up there with the more expensive heatsinks from Noctua and just a fraction of the price. I got it for $22 price matched which increases the value. My AM3 Athlon II X4 630 idles at 26°C and reaches 40°C full load. When overclocked to 3.4GHz, it idles at 31°C and goes up to 52°C full load.

Cons: Instructions

Pros: Quiet, cool, easy to install
Comment:
As many have mentioned, the instructions have left a lot to be desire. The unboxing video (love those btw) lays out exactly how this bad boy is to be installed. The X bracket keeps the cooler secure and allows a lot of flexability for mounting options.Positive notes - Didn't take a lot of rocket science to install. Did take some patience. Those who complain about installing a back plate really ought to question the notion of installing something so large without one. That's worthy of mention too actually, the backplate is included while other HSF do not (which is weird)included fan (with mine) is quiet enough. I can hear the whine that others have complained about, but only when she gets spinning fast. My CPU hasn't hit above 31C with the included thermal compound, so the fan is frequently running at ~ 1000 RPM and almost no noise is present. When the case is closed and the HTPC is put in the cabinet, I can barely hear it at all.Ready out of the box for 2nd fan, also doesn't use wireclips as is picture. Has newer plastic clips that are a breeze to get on/off. For those of you who think Shine has anything to do with cooling, this was relatively shiny. I'm not sure what the polished finish has to do with microscopic imperfections, but whatever. I can have a mirror finish on a piece of metal but that doesn't mean she be flat..... some of the fins bent when I was monkeying with it, but they bent back easily enough..Draw backs - Fan may need to be replaced if the whine gets worse rather than goes away with use. Noctua are frequently used as replacements. Instructions could have been reduced in size and split into two sheets of paper for ease of use.Overall - quiet, effective, and with PM or sale can be had for below $25. Cools fairly close to many coolers that are three times the cost of this one. Smart design means clearance issues aren't as terrible as many others.. would and likely will purchase again.Final note - apparently it can also mount on S 939??? Would like more info on that as my 939 CPU fan is dying.

Cons: only comes with 1 fan

Pros: Price is good for decent performance air cooler
Comment:
It only comes with 1 fan but that I cant complain since it is so cheap and runs a lot better then the stock heatsink. Just barely clears the ram in my system.

Cons: A little difficult to mount due to sheer size.

Pros: Inexpensive and really makes a difference with the CPU temperatures. Quiet operation is a plus!
Comment:
I recently upgraded my CPU to an AMD Athlon II X4 620 and thought I would give the stock fan/heatsink a try (but using Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste). Although my home office is relatively warm, I found my CPU was consistently running at over 42 degrees (which seemed high) with the heatsink fan spinning away like crazy to try to keep the temps down. This was not working out.I decided to go with the Hyper 212 because (1) it's cheap, (2) it had a ton of good reviews, and (3) it came with a 120mm fan and I was banking on it being quiet.I was worried it wouldn't fit inside my Antec Sonata case but it worked out fine. Installing the backplane to the motherboard was a bit of a task, but the actual heatsink mounting system is great. I used a super-thin layer of Arctic Silver 5 on the CPU. Because the heatsink base isn't flat (i.e. there are noticeable gaps between the heatpipes and base) I had to use extra thermal paste to fill those gaps.Overall, I am really happy with this product. The 120mm fan is very quiet... almost silent. My core temps dropped from 42-44 degrees down to 37-38 degrees. For a sub-$30 heatsink, this is a fantastic product!

Cons: Cheap thermal paste included but better than none!

Pros: Really affordable, great mounting, extra clip
Comment:
Great bang for the buck heatsink. You will get a lot of cooling performance and an easy to use and install CPU cooler. There is very little wrong with this product, and as such I highly recommend it. Remember...to install it, your motherboard needs to come out of your chassis.

Cons: Make sure your case had enough clearance for the heatsink as it is big!

Pros: Awesome temperatures. quiet
Comment:
This cooler is a bang for buck product. Its cheap and it gets the job done. I never used the including thermal paste so I can't comment about its performance. Installation is pretty straight forward.

Cons: Not the smoothest base surface, wish they would have lapped it smooth.

Pros: Very quiet and great heat-pipe design.
Comment:
I am very happy with the performance of this heatsink. Best bang for the buck hands down! However I'm not impressed with the base not being smooth, have to use more thermal paste to fill in the gaps. They could have made the base a bit better, but still performs well.

Cons: A little harder to apply thermal grease because of direct contact heat pipe.

Pros: Cheap. Very effective.
Comment:
Paired this with my AMD 965 Phenom II C3. Lowered temperatures by 10 degrees compared to stock. Took about 5 attempts to get the thermal grease on right. By far the best cpu heatsink for less than $30.

Cons: the mounting screws could have been a little thicker

Pros: very well designed heatsink and 12 cm makes it a quiet yet powerful cooler. my phenom 940 overclocked to 3.3 ghz runs at 28 Celsius at idle and i haven't seen any temps higher then 42 under full load mode.
Comment:
it was a bit of a chore to install but well worth the effort.my system runs cool and can barely hear it which is a far better thing then running the 80 or 90 cm fans which roar. definitely a bargain and powerful performer

There is a lot of value in this cooler. Despite the gaps between the tubes and the alloy block, it works quite well. Core temps on i7 920 running a prime stress test program for 24 hours. Max reached 69c about 67c for case. I used the supplied paste and the single stock fan.

I matched this cooler with TWO Scythe Ultra Kaze 120MM High Static Pressure Silent Fans. My CPU idles around 20-23 degrees in my Coolermaster HAF932 case. Under load my temperatures do not go any higher then 40 degrees.Only thing is that I had to point the fans to that they exhaust up because my memory was in the way.I would strongly recommend replacing the fan with something beefier if you don't mind a bit of noise.

I bought this cooler for a friend as a gift after doing a little research. Best bang for your buck i've seen since the Antec 300 Case. It's ranked in the top ten air cooling units on Frostytech, and annihilates anything else at its price point.I suppose some details are in order. Nothing special since my friend hasn't OC his CPU just yet. But his Q9550 running stock idles at ~33C and Primes at ~50, and that's with the one fan and before the AS5 has cured. I'd say that's pretty impressive for ~30 bucks :)

I have noticed there are 2 typs of Cool Master 212 4 Heat Pipe one has a polished perfect brass block against the CPU. One has Fluid Mechanical Cooling Designe. they are very very simular in looks (performance I don't know heres some # (RR-CCH-LB12-GP ( THINK THE BETTER ) and (RR-B10-2129-GP )very close prices but I ordered the second one and I think the first cooler is better. (check it out ) same prices . this is a tricky instaliation, and hope not to repeat it again,

Pros: Works GreatEasy Install (On New Build)Looks Good
Comment:
This is a great cooler that works so much better than stock for not a lot of money. It installs easily (on a new build with the MoBo out of the case...) and looks great. The only thing that tips off the low price is the budget fan - it works but it screams "low quality". No problem, I just replaced it with a fancy Enermax for a nice looking and great working cooling solution for my screamin' fast core i7.

Cons: Might be a tight squeeze to get this thing into an average size case as it's pretty tall. Well worth it if it'l fit though.

Pros: Super low temps, nice and quiet, ........ and cheap
Comment:
This thing is awesome. I'm so happy I cheaped out and spent $30 on this instead of twice that for any of the more popular high end heatsinks. I have it on a Phenom II x4 940. At stock speeds my idle temp is 28C and never over 35C under load. Even with my cpu OC'd to 3.6 Ghz (3.0 at stock), I'm only hitting 45C under load. I had to try 3 different temp sensors becasue I couldn't believe those numbers. If this will fit in your case, definately hook it up.
