Great value, runs practically silent, extremely productive cooling. Was a breeze to install (though requires removing the motherboard); the guidelines had been really clear. Extremely suggested! None.

*Fit in my case completely*Seems to be better than my stock cooler but not confident (see cons) I have 2 concerns as of now with this cooler:*My motherboard does not recognize it as a cooling fan and prompts me to hit F2 upon booting up or it shuts me down automatically inside ten seconds *One of the four screws utilised to mount the cooler to the MB was STRIPPED on arrival, not a single groove on the inside to screw it on properly with and my stock screws wouldn't do the job - as of now I have on by means of getting clamped down with an adjustable wrench but seriously, a stripped screw? A component that expenses most likely significantly less than a cent *sigh*I was pretty shocked with both these issues especially since I expected it to take me significantly less than 10 minutes and have everything closed up and running smooth. I'm just stunned I encounted the concerns I did contemplating how nicely it had been reviewed - must just be unlucky I suppose.I felt actually bad due to the reality my girlfriend had bought it for me as a x-mas present and she got to watch it unravel a bit whilst performing the set up.I would like a replacement screw at the incredibly least for the one particular that was fairly substantially a gag gift in the initial spot; the motherboard situation I'm nonetheless searching about google attempting to troubleshoot.

Down drafting to cool other board elements.Five heat pipes for great heat dissipation.Polished solid brass base surface for maximum heat transfer (without having to lap)PWM fan, even though I swapped it out for a Gelid PWM.Clears memory modules using G.Skill Rip Jaws with medium tall heat spreaders in all 4 slots based on orientation of course. Just point the heat pipes toward the south bridge. There are no cons. Amazingly efficient product! I put this unit on a uATX motherboard: P7H55-M PRO with 8Gb Ɣx2Gb) G.Talent Ripjaws w/medium sized heat spreaders and even though they cleared the cooler they have been installed prior to mounting the Gemini II. I wouldn't want to have to get rid of/replace the module in the slot closest to the cooler mainly because while they do indeed clear the cooler they Ought to be installed ahead of it!I put this cooler by way of it's paces yesterday. Mounting was uncomplicated (mobo out of the case). Used IC Diamond (TIM) and had to rub my eyes in wonderment at how cool the Core i-three cores stayed with six straight hours of Prime 95 torture, and 4 straight hours of Furmark. Idling registered 17C-22C and under heavy a duress load 46C-52C. Now that's what I call cool! I know IC Diamond (TIM) had a lot to do with it but you can't take anything away from this small type aspect cooler.Zalman - Z9 PlusASUS P7H55-M PRO Micro ATX moboIntel Core i-3 1156 socketG.Ability Ripjaws 4x2Gb F3-10666CL8D DDR3򜤵MHzHD 5670 1Gb DDR

Match the AsusM4A89GTD Pro like a glove. Fit more than my G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL heatsinks. BARELY, but it did match. The fan is quieter than the Scythe slip streams that I have. Can switch to two fan set up. Really Impressed. The bracket set up is uncomplicated to figure out. To get this to fit over my RAM I had to turn it so the copper heat pipes face the rear of the case. The aluminum fins on the opposite side are at an upside down 90* angle, If anything ever goes wrong with the DIMMs I will have to take away the heatsink to get them out. So far so fantastic, & I have 16GB so I must be OK. Install the memory initially if you strategy on using the first 2 slots. This was my first construct & I really didn't think it was tough to set up. The guidelines are horrible, just use common sense & you'll be far better off. - Incredibly quiet with 120mm fan- Appears cool!- Easy to set up, nice brackets- Cools properly for what I've attempted with it, run benchmarks and issues and never saw temp rise of a lot more than a few degrees Celsius - Maybe its size and shape could be a difficulty for some but isn't for me Undoubtedly a tiny diverse searching from a lot of coolers out there, I don't have fancy windows or something so it doesn't genuinely matter but it looks very good and cools well.

I just bought this from Newegg. I have a phenom II x550 and when I was carrying out some video rendering it would show my processor exceeding 200 degrees. It would only run for a tiny longer then automatically shut down in the middle of my projects. Following installing this fan, my personal computer has not exceeded 90 degrees and I am placing as much stress on it as possible. Its good to know I dont have to worry about it shutting down any much more. This point is super quiet also. Cant hardly hear it operating which is what I like. None.. this cooler is worth just about every penny. You have to be very careful its a small tricky to set up and you have to get rid of your motherboard in order to do it. It's also extremely substantial and you may well have difficulty clearing your video card and ram. It was extremely close on mine but it fits just best.

1. Really straightforward to mounttwo. RAM clearance not a difficulty w/Corsair XM3 on MSI P55 mATX mobothree. Effortless fit with lots of area to spare in Lian Li Computer-V351 case4. Inaudible w/i5 750 o/c to three.1 with fan at 65% PWM. Barely audible when cranks up to complete speed. None 1. Keeps i5 750 O/C to 3.1 cool -- 32 deg. C. at idletwo. I much favor the screw-on mounting method to the push-pin program. Yes, you have to take away the motherboard but a modest price tag to pay for the lack of aggravation and motherboard flex of the regular Intel push-pins. The back-plate delivers fantastic support, no flex, and I had no clearance concerns with the regular mobo stand-offs.3. Unless you are using ridiculously tall ram, you really should have no clearance difficulties.4. All in all a good cooler: quiet, easy to install, performs properly, fits smaller instances.

My AMD Athlon X2 64 was operating over 100 degrees C, with the retail heat sink & fan, when composing video and shutting off the laptop. With this heat sink & fan (large although it could be, it fits my gigabye mobo GA-MA78G=DS3H just fine) the idle temps dropped to 33 degrees C ave. both cores, and my formerly more than one hundred degrees C dropped to 51 degrees below complete load 100% the first attempt. AND it is quiet as a church mouse with the 120mm fan. Arctic Silver 5 for the thermal compound. None I enjoy this cooler.

Reduced profile than most, great clearances for mATX motherboards, uncomplicated and strong mounting mechanism. Ought to use typical-height DIMMs on mATX, nothing at all with protruding heat spreaders that extend above the DIMM PCBs.Can't say a lot for the guidelines, I can tell they would not assist a novice one bit. That doesn't cease them from unfolding to the size of a national road map. Best way to set up this is to put the HSF upside-down on the table (after applying thermal compound to the CPU) and put the motherboard upside-down on top rated of the HSF. Set up the 4 hex nuts slightly hand-tight, then tighten them in a diagonal pattern a couple of turns each and every time employing the included socket.

- It's honkin' big, but not so massive as to be able to fit in a Cooler Master Elite 341. That's what I required, and that's what I got.- Callisto 555 with no further cores unlocked, not overclocked, in no way gets hot, but I would feel comfy attempting with this heatsink. - None - Take time to install this adequately and cautiously. Read the instructions. Watch installation videos supplied by Cooler Master. There's nothing incorrect with the way it's developed--you just want to appreciate it for what it is.

Purchased this in September when 2 of my case fans seized up.At idle, method runs at 26C. At most it hits 35C. Super quiet, super amazing cooler. I'd like to see these without having the silly LEDs. I leave my Computer on 24x7 in my bedroom, and the LED fans bug me.Or at least give me a switch to turn off the LEDs.Granted, LEDs inside my case don't bother me almost as substantially as LEDs on external fans. Installation was quite straight forward. I can't even keep in mind precisely what it took it was that straightforward.

Replaced an Athlon II 255 stock cooler with this unit, what an improvement. Steady low temps & quiet, even in a warm summer time area. Low enough profile to fit comfortably in an Antec 2480/Fusion uATX desktop case. Very good ram clearance for such a quick/wide cooler. Effortless to modify/replace fan(s). Easy & strong style and building. none.

Need to be worthy of a buy since my temperatures dropped ㅂ°c right after replacing the stock cooler. It was significantly less expensive than the other cpu coolers and I can't hear it more than my case fan so I assume it is fairly quiet. Was a bit tough installing with no removing the motherboard from the case but I did it. Had to place the case upright and preserve a firm hand on the cooler whilst placing the back plate on with my other hand. Essentially it would have been way simpler to do with a new computer develop otherwise it will just take a bit of time if you currently have your computer set up. May well be beneficial to have a person hold the cooler for you when you set up the bolts on the back of the plate. Wrote this 20 minutes following installation. So possibly the temps will drop some more?

Quiet, fairly low profile. Adapters for more than one fan. Appears good. Decent cooling. The heat pipes in the pictures right here on the Egg make the heat pipes look like they are fluch with the fan, but on my cooler the heat pipes stuck out a little additional than the fan. The challenge with the heatpipes created it impossible for me to put this on my Gigabyte 1156 ITX board and have a video card installed. Resolution: I hammered the heatpipes into the cooler a tiny. I am certain this will influence cooling to some degree, but this cooler is so huge it will nevertheless operate superior than stock cooling anyway. I took a single Egg off for the heatpipe situation, but other than that the element is good.

Somewhat smaller compared to other coolers like this, efficient at moving air in effectively vented cases. In modest enclosures, this one particular will do worse than stock since of the low fan speed. Installed this a single in my htpc case and ended up flipping the energy provide so that the fan pulled air from the heatsink and also flipped more than the sink fan as nicely. Idles at 38c now but ahead of messing with the fan config it would idle at 50c. Don't set up this in a smaller case, it desires a lot of airflow.

Big very fan, excellent heat pipe design and style makes positive the pipes get great air flow. The "low" profile barely fit into my Mini -ITX Lian Li Computer-Q11B with no room to spare. Laid flat against the PSU. Kept my Phenom II x2 545 3GHz running at 3.2 and beneath 40c, playing CoD BO. Can't genuinely think of any. The set up was straight foward and other than the smaller MB and Case I employed, this cooler would be straightforward to match in most other situations.
