It does it job, keeps the CPU cool. It is Large, you have to have a complete tower case, and its not that quiet.

Amazingly good air cooling, dual fan design, tri-color LED strip guarantees it will match your lighting scheme. Amazingly frigid temps on stock, and wonderful temps when OC'd. Slightly hard to install, instruction book was lacking, and the fans themselves want to be embossed/labeled with the path of their airflow. Amazing, get this more than the V8. Trust me, I have the V8 in a different system and I am substantially happier with the V6GT.Trust me, you will adore it as much as I do.

Its got 2 120 x 120 x 25mm fans and a LED stripe that can be switched among off, red, blue, or purple with the push of a button (literally, u just push on the "engine oil cap" and it adjustments between the four settings). Its amazingly effortless to install with effectively illustrated directions and it keeps my processor good and cool :) not worth deducting an egg for but it would be wonderful if there was more than just one particular bracket holding the heat sink on. positive two spring-tensioned screws are most likely good adequate, but i would really feel much better if there have been at least two brackets holding it on Gaming at 24.5 degrees Celsius and loving it :)

This point operates fantastic. Took around an hour to set up, simple and rapid. The GT as opposed to the standard V6 came with a second dynaloop fan, Nickel plated pipes and base rather of copper, which I assume makes all the difference in cooling temp. My Stock HSF was providing me max load temps of 64-68*C based on running the AC or not. As of now below Prime95 and Everest my max temp has not hit above 49*C running for about 5hr (with AC on). These are my true outcomes, around a 20*C drop in temperature. All I can say is Thank You CoolerMaster, and Thank You NewEgg. One drawback is that the cooler covers up one memory slot(depending on board make), I think I can nonetheless get a stick of memory in there, but would involve removing the heatspreader from that specific stick of RAM. I'm not positive how safe that would be, but I picture it would be fine. No egg deduction given that the solution itself is flawless. Came with CoolerMaster brand thermal paste, but I used TuniQ TX-2 that i had leftover from a month ago. I've spent a couple months now purchasing for a good cooler, I have not employed water cooling but, so I was trying to stay with air, and this cooler was exactly what I was seeking for. Almost bought a V8 but then CoolerMaster released this baby.Method:AMD 965BE(stock3.four) // CM 932 HAF AMD Ed. Case // 4gb Dominator-GT RAM // CrossfireX 5770's // TX850w PSU.

Amazing looking, I hear fantastic items about it, and it seems to get fantastic reviews... Would not match on my Motherboard (EVGA P55 Classified 200)! So, I live chatted with an individual from Cooler Master to find out if this would match on my motherboard prior to I bought it. The guy I talked to told me it would match no difficulty. I receive my components, and am attempting to fit this over my CPU, and can not get it to match due to the heatsinks already on my motherboard. So I get in touch with EVGA, they measure their board and examine it to the measurements on the CM web page...and inform me it wont fit. Had to RMA it. I was dissapointed as this factor appears definitely awesome! So just retain in thoughts, if your Mobo has heatsinks around the CPU region, this might not fit.

According to HardwareCanucks, this is 1 of the prime-three CPU coolers you can acquire. Idle i5-750 @ 31C, load @ 50C no OC. The differance among this a single and sub ุ coolers is the OC cooling. Price. Google purchasing had a laptop retailer in TX that sold for แ.99 plus shipping (ŭ not expedited). Even with a บ manufacture rebate, Newegg is ฟ far more. If you don't like this, go Thermaltake Frio.

Ok, very first of all, this issue genuinely functions as advertised. I've been in the market for a new cooling unit to get my phenom iix6 1100t to the 4.0ghz mark, and soon after a lot debate i decided to go with this. It was a bit of a struggle to get the cpu overclocked with a lot of bsod and compute rnot posting, but that was due to my lack of expertise. But now it's finally sittin' fairly and nice and solid at 4.0ghz on an asus m4a79t deluxe board and 16 gigs of g skill rip jaw ddr3 ram. temps are sitting anywhere from 20-26c idle, based on the area temp, and under no circumstances got it more than 40c beneath full load. with the stock cooler this issue was operating 30-35c idle and that was at 3.3 ghz and i've seen it go as higher as 55c below complete load, at 3.three ghz which is what the 1100t comes stock as. installation was quite simple and that must say a lot coming from me as i've in no way had practical experience with mounting new plates for coolers on a mobo. genuinely, i guess there is no cons. just comprehend it's Huge. and i'm not even kidding. it's prolly about as huge as my corsair 750w psu. but if you place the brackets on suitable, it'll sit strong. for anybody working with an antec 900 case, this WILL match just fine, despite the fact that the cooler will just about touch the glass window on the side, but the side panel goes back on no difficulties. i guess if something, that could be a plus for the added support the side panel would give to hold it in. also, be certain to set up ram very first, otherwise it will be a bit of a discomfort to get them in if not not possible with the cooler in. all in all, i hugely recommend this, specifically for the price tag. you know with the sheer size of this factor, it's gonna dissipate heat very properly, specially with dual fans.

Keeps my cpu at 35c when gaming. Much better than Corsair dual fan junk it replaced immediately after the bracket snapped off even though I was cleaning a fan (and I was working with extremely small stress). Price... I feel I paid 49, now its 69? Are they gold plating them now? My CPU is cool. Cosmetically, it is huge, but it is adjustable as effectively. Can point fans vertically or horizontally. The fans are a tad bit loud, but they are barely noticeable once broken in.

the tempurature reduce making use of this cooler is friggin crazy. My cpu temps went down more than 30 celcuis. Im running at a cool low 30*c now. It appears amazing with the window on the side and there are two ways of installing this infant dependant of where your exhaust fans are. I had to pull out the mobo to set up this, probably due to the fact of the case I have. The directions aren't all that clear but with a small reading ahead of hand and preperation, even going over the methods you need to have to do to get the job accomplished is actually useful. This this is massive so people with a tiny to medium case make certain you make some measurements to see if it will set up in your case. the reduce in the temp's are the reason I gave this a full four eggs. It also appears sleak and strong. The transform in the light is a neat feature but not required. The install was seriously the enormous disadvantage. Even though it is a cpu cooler. I expect that fantastic factors want consideration to function at first but then by no means need to have appear back if done appropriate.

Appears to be a wonderful cooler, but the front mounting brackets will not fit on the EVGA SR-two motherboard. 1. The screws are not long sufficient to fit by means of the special threaded holes that the motherboard has for a CPU fan mount.2. A heatsink on the motherboard is in the way of the front bracket from being in a position to line up to the motherboard holes for mounting it.three. There is a single chip by a single of the CPU sockets (SR-two is a dual CPU motherboard) that sticks up as well higher to let the bracket from getting mounted to the front of the motherboard. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Client,We apologize for any inconvenience. The cooler in question is a desktop cooler meant for desktop type processors. It may be compatible with some server motherboards but not all of them. The bracket it has is mainly for Core i7 and not Xeon. If you have any queries, please contact us through Live Chat. Cools fantastic, Comes with two Good fans, Straightforward install I don't like the spring loaded mounting bar... I installed this on an Asus P6T board to cool and over clocked I7 950 operating at four.three ghz. Idle temp for all cores is about 31c and beneath full load it averages 52c. In a Coolermaster 932 HAF case, there are no clearence concerns. I replaced the 230mm door fan with 4 120mm fans and the cooler clears the fans by about 3Ǟ". The V6GT also just clears the 1st stick of ram. Persons with taller ram could have a challenge. In the 932 HAF you don't actually see the LED strip down the middle. It begins behind the window and fan devider and then goes behind the fans. You could prob see additional with the stock 230mm in.

-keeps cpu cool, low temp-good appears-fits completely, compatible with 1366 socket(which I have) -enormous, would not match full tower case with side panel fans sticking out towards the mother board-requires awhile to set up-don't advocate for mid-low tower case, will not fit.-runs louder than my complete tower case with 8 built internal fans undoubtedly would recommend this to others that likes to play high finish games. :)

Core i5-750 clocked to 4.2ghz immediately after ten hours of prime95, temperature peaked at 66c. Employing Tuniq TX-3 compound as well. Idle temps at 4.2ghz are lower than the stock cooler at factory settings. But the Intel cooler is a sad joke after all. I in no way expected final results that very good from air. Specially thinking of the ambient temp of the room was nicely on the warm side. This cooler has verified to be the best investment I've created on this years develop. If you don't want the hassle of water cooling. But nevertheless want to be able to handle a great overclock, this is your answer. It is a bit on the big side. I didn't anticipate space to be an issue really but I underestimated the size of it. I'm appropriate on the verge of covering my very first ram slot and its about two centimeters from the side panel. I got lucky, but I would certainly suggest checking your available space more cautiously than I did. The fans are somewhat noisy when they really get going but that is not something that is an concern for me. That just lets me know its functioning. But I know some individuals are bothered by any type of fan noise so I thought I would throw that in. The way I see it, with the quantity of cooling you'll get from this, a small noise is a incredibly little value to pay. Only way to take air cooling to the next level would be to stick your case in your freezer.Oh and I virtually forgot...If the cooler is visible by way of your case side panel. The LED strip on the front can be a small intense near the prime, where the Cooler Master button is positioned. My simple repair was to cut a half inch piece of black electrical tape and place over the vibrant section. You can trim it to where it only covers the LED strip and it will blend properly with the rest of the cooler. The outcome will be a significantly more subtle and pleasing LED that isn't overpowering.

This point is.. is.. godly. Right now I am working with a Phenom II x4 920, making Prime95 set cores at one hundred% and I am at 32C! And to top that off I have SpeedFan set the v6's fans to 20%! I will come back here if I see a distinction overnight, but I have not noticed a temp over 33C but. This issue is humongous, seriously. Not a con if you have a massive case but it BARELY match in my midtower. The fan at 100% is epic loud, like a true automobile engine.. but as I currently mentioned the speed is at 20% and I am chilling at 32C. If you want some cool temperatures, get this beast. Be prepared to spend an hour or two setting it up, it took me 3 hours because I have never ever set anything like this up ahead of :p.

Does its job effectively. E6300 wolfdale @ 4ghz 1.424v 58c beneath prime95 in a cm 690 II case. Heavy and compatability with motherboards. Had to mount it reversed and reverse fans for it to fit on a p5q pro turbo motherboard. Heatpipes have been against the southbridge. Probably not getting one hundred% cooling from it simply because of obtaining to reverse airflow by way of the heatsink.Could have just mounted it differently but wanted it as exhaust as an alternative of intake.

This thing just flat cools! This unit performs as effectively as some low finish liquid cooling options I've seen. Right after installation I was capable to get an additonal steady 600 mhz out of my overclock. ྪ hrs of tension testing could not produce a fault.) This this is Enormous!!! I had to pull two sticks of Corsair Vengance and replace them with reduce profile Ram. I viewed as taking an egg off but I ought to have realized that two 120mm fans in a push/pull set up have been going to give me space problems. If you are going to use this cooler think via your RAM selection. The taller heat sinks are going to give you challenges. Other than that, this cooler does extremely well on a price tag vs functionality comparision.

This is one of the best air coolers you can get for price/performance ratio. Had my x3 720 from stock two.8 up to three.6 stable never ever exceeding 41 at full load. 3.8 was unstable but not for lack of cooling, temps had been at 46 load. 1100T is at four stable with temps at about 48 load. Heatsink for some purpose gathers dust additional than other people. Compressed air is hard to clean with. Make positive you clean it often. The results are worth it. You won't get the exact same final results as water cooling would but that's how it goes involving water and air. So if you're going air this would be a excellent option. Looks cool and has a button to switch between three colors. I'm sad it doesn't have green given that I have the NVIDIA edition haf x, it would match nicely.

It is enormous and really effectively design, looks attractive_ I havent tested it on temps yet but will rewrite yet another critique once I get the laptop or computer operating. Blocked my ram slot quantity 1 on my MSi P67-GD65 Motherboard (so had to use 2nd and 4th ram slot for dual channel) If your ram has extendd Heatsinks you will run into the problem I have listed above. Installation is not uncomplicated but it wasn't challenging just tideous. and takes a bit of adjusting the screws. Directions are poor. If you are working with the MSi P67A-GD65 Motherboard and are making use of Gskill RipjawX(Or possibly ram with extended Heatsinks, the ram will NOT be in a position to be installed into the Initial ram slot(I had to use the second slot and fourth slot to get dual channel) The heatsink 1st fan is blocking the first slot_*(This could be fix without putting in the initially fan, but that beats the objective of acquiring this heatsink)Its actually large(I couldn't preserve my Side fan on my Azza salano 1000 Computer Case) But I knew that just before acquiring this CPU Cooler.

I7 860 @ stock speeds, even though I'm about to OC Stock cooler was idle 34C, load 83C Looks amazing! Blue light mode matches everything else in the case.Fans don't have to be cranked wide open to get good performance, it's incredibly quiet and efficient at low speeds. Most of my cons would be correct for any large cooler, I'm only mentioning them to support make confident people are conscious of problems they may possibly encounter.White Molex for the light. Just didn't match the cooler or my case so I replaced it with a black one particular.Energy cable not sleeved, effortlessly remedied and a pro if you want an odd color sleeving. In purple mode you can see red and blue spots in the stripe but I didn't want purple anyway.Loud at 100% fan speed, as in air blowing loud not noisy fan loud. Memory with tall heatsinks may not fit, cooler extends more than the first socket. Clears my memory (no heatsinks) with about 3mm to spare. You require access to the back of the motherboard to set up, I have a cutout so I didn't have to pull the board.Fan cable was a bit tricky to get plugged in and neatly route. All parts needed to set up had been included, even thermal paste. I opted for Arctic five rather, as I currently had it on hand.
