Cons: None.

Pros: Cheap cost, silent, good quality, nice connector assortment for price.
Comment:
I used a couple of these in some budget builds and they worked perfectly, time will tell how they will hold up but they seem to be solid. The fan is silent and they have a nice range of connectors for newer components, can`t really be beat for the price.

Cons: -Only 460 watt

Pros: -Great Price-Not too much and not too little for budget systems-PCI-E connections-Clean Cabling-Not overly noisy-Bare and basic... PERFECT!!-Filling a gap for a need for budget powersupplies
Comment:
This thing is perfect. I dont need an amazing powersupply to power budget systems, and most cost over 70$ and become the most expensive component in the computer. This PSU fills a need for a powersupply with decent wattage, and at a budget price. It performs as it should. Im using it to power a AMD 7750 and its perfect and at just the price i need it to be! Awesome!

Cons: none that I can think of

Pros: quiet, good cable lengths
Comment:
Needed a new power supply for an aging system. It kept shutting down so I replaced it with this one. Got it on a special sale so the price was right. Even at regular price, it's a good buy.I'm using this on a very basic system that is getting some upgrades. Mostly to bring it up speed a little bit so I didn't need anything fancy. It's working very well and I'm quite pleased with it.

Cons: DOA, bummer - put my HTPC together cleaned up the wiring slid it into wall. turned it on - nothing. Now it's Sunday and I'm RMAing instead of kicking back watching a movie.

Pros: Small form factor fit nicely in HTPC. Totally 100% silent - not even 1/2 decibel.
Comment:
Sure looks like a nice unit, the main ATX power cables are bundled in a sleeve. Too bad it wouldn't power up. I'll give it a better review if I can get one that works.

Used as part of an upgrade, plenty of power for a little Sempron with integrated graphic, silent enough for most of the people.

Cons: should be sold as a 430 W

Pros: Two Y capacitorsOne X capacitorAnd one MOVGood Price
Comment:
You need to pay attention as Cooler Master has two power supply series with similar names. The older series is called eXtreme Power and the power supplies from this series are presumably manufactured by Seventeam. The new series is called eXtreme Power Plus, with models being manufactured by AcBel Polytech. So even though the names of these series are similar, each series use a different internal design. Unfortunately on their website Cooler Master puts all power supplies from both series on the same page, making you to believe that all units use the same design. To make things worse, there are four kinds of power supplies on the new eXtreme Power Plus series: the ones using an 80-mm fan on the rear of the unit (model names starting with “PMS”) and the ones using a 120-mm on the bottom of the unit (model names starting with “PCA”), and the ones without PFC (model names ending with “R”) and the ones with passive PFC (model names ending with “P”, targeted to the European market). If you are building an entry-level PC with just one or two hard disk drives and just one video card – or even maybe with an on-board solution – this power supply is a good option. In summary, the only real flaw from this product considering its price range is its wrong label; this power supply should be sold as a 430 W unit. Nonetheless this is still a good product for the average user that doesn’t need a lot of power and wants to save money. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-12-09 11:37 PM

Part of a work computer upgrade. Simply wanted to make sure there was enough power for the new board & dual core processor. No issues at all, good PSU!

Cons: Brand, fan

Pros: Cheap, Efficient, Easy to install
Comment:
ok so we all know coolermaster is at their best when it comes to computer cases but surprisingly they do ok in terms of value on this power supply. 40$ for 460Watt which enough to run a system of a AMD X2 processor + a 7600GT . Even though i only had this for a short time, it certainly looks promising

Cons: none I can find

Pros: quiet, reliable, inexpensive
Comment:
I bought one of these from NCIX a couple of years ago on sale. There's a good review on the Hardware Secrets site. I researched carefully for an inexpensive but decent quality power supply sufficient for a modest system with a Core 2 Duo CPU, an ATI HD-3850 video card, DVD burner, a couple of hard drives, etc. This power supply has met all my expectations. It is quiet and has run flawlessly. The build quality is very good for the price. Not many systems need a power supply rated over 500 watts, so this is adequate for most systems that are not running very power hungry video cards.

Cons: She don't look fancy! Sorry, is that a weakness for a p/s?

Pros: Quiet, long cables, does the job.
Comment:
I bought this to power a new box with WHS and don't need this much power, but this unit was less money and on sale to boot. The Antec 300 has a bottom mount p/s and I was worried that I might need an extenstion for the 4-pin P4 motherboard connection. No problem! Cables were plenty long enough. The unit is also very quiet (I am not near taxing the capacity of the unit). A great no-nonense unit. Highly recommended for low to mid-end builds.

Cons: Only one 80mm fan is a real negative if using a poorly vented case

Pros: Newer v2.3 compliantEnough connectors for a budget unitFeels solid enough
Comment:
We use these in lower-mid systems for customer builds, the 460w?? rating provides a nice safety factor and far,far better than the lightweight generics! So far they have been reliable, quiet and had no complaints. However, they get PM'd down, for they're regular price there are better units out there in this range with dual fan cooling etc.(Watch weekly sales)

Bon Power Supply pour un ordinateur familial ou bureautique. Puissance très acceptable pour le prix.. Le ventilateur est légèrement audible, mais c'est pas si pire.

Cons: minimal cables, cables are not modular, oscillating

Pros: inexpensive, very quiet fan
Comment:
I purchased this unit because I required an inexpensive and tight-fitting supply to fit into a 2U rack case. Many of the larger wattage power supplies are using 120mm top mounted fans and are pushing the ATX/PS2 sizing to the maximum, which unfortunately won't fit into this case.I was impressed that the 80mm fan is very quiet, much quieter than the CoolerMaster 500 (RP-500-PCAR), and also quieter than any of my Mushkin supplies which I normally use exclusively. However, this supply has a bad case of audible high-pitch oscillation on its components when the load varies. This would be very annoying in a home desktop environment.

Cons: None!

Pros: Plenty of connectors, both legacy and new alike!
Comment:
Needed to upgrade the power supply when I finally left the stone age of computing and this filled the bill. Easy easy install (as it should be) and rock solid for my system. Not a power hungry system, so this is just perfect for my needs!

Cons: it's white...

Pros: Enough 12V rail to run Geforece 8800 Series, 6-pin connector, 2 4-pin connectors
Comment:
GREAT PSU for most computers. 460W is enough to run all your daily use and competitive CPU's such as E8400 or even the Quad cores. Highly recommended for people using just one video card with no water-cooling.
