Cons: none

Pros: reliable, good brand name, all the right connections
Comment:
Good PSU for budget builds. My customer has used it for 6 months and has had no issues so far. It has everything you need in a basic power supply, good brand name, and reasonably well built.

Cons: None for the price

Pros: Good Amps on 12V channelCables are good length for regular caseGood price - $30
Comment:
Purchased this PSU for a simple build. The fan is quiet, enough power, and price was right. Would require more connectors for a higher end machine.

Cons: Some people/reviews seem to claim claim it cant deliver the full rated power which may or may not be true. For most general purpose computers, it delivers more than enough power.

Pros: Inexpensive, quiet
Comment:
Used this to replace a power supply in a Dell Optiplex 745. It seems to be one of the most inexpensive power supplies with a large, quiet fan with power nicely suited for general purpose home and office machines.

Cons: unpainted housing makes the ps look old and cheap, wires are relatively thin compared to other ps at the same price range

Pros: cheap when on sale, seems to deliver the required power, relatively quiet, good for a low end system
Comment:
Purchased this for a budget build and although it provided the claimed voltages at the rails, it still felt relatively "cheap" for an entry level power supply. The build was for a friend and used an FM2 based A-series system and the mobo manual even indicated that an older 20-pin ps would work (without the need for a 20 to 24 pin adapter). I had a similar build that even has a generic power supply (logysis) and has been running stable so I'm pretty confident that the cooler master 400 (or 460) will be more than sufficient and stable for this particular machine. The wires coming from the power supply where thinner than what I expect them to be and even my generic ps look bigger (I understand that some ps seem to have bigger wires due to the insulation used). Anyway, my other personal builds all use corsair power supplies (GS, TX and CX so I guess I was just expecting a bit more). Overall, it is still a good ps for budget builds and even with a discrete mid-end video card. Comes with a standard 1-year warranty (verified after registering on CM website)

Cons: almost free...

Pros: almost free...
Comment:
on a $700.0 build for a friend I was running to close to the limit so I had to skimp on the PSU, never a good idea but hes only going to be using this thing for a month or two till he has cash for something better. with that said I have a single 5850 in the thing and almost brought it to its knees with a few other devices installed. poor little psu fighting so hard to stay alive... so hard... but it is what it is dirt-cheap-low-wattage. at this price point I'm more then happy with the little guy =D

Cons: Silvercables not sleevedcables average

Pros: Good Value on saledoes what its suppose togreat for pc if not worried about looks
Comment:
Purchased this for a built for a family member that isn't all that worried about the overall look of their system, it does exactly what we needed it to, we ended up using an 8pin xtension cable to keep the cable routing as neat as possible.Would buy again as for basic build

Cons: - No issues yet

Pros: - Great sale prices- Feels solid (ie, doesn't feel empty like really cheap PSUs)
Comment:
Some reviews I've read of these basic Coolermaster PSUs indicated that, when looked at very closely, there is a lot of noise generated by the power supply's switching circuitry. Perhaps. And it may not be super efficient. But this isn't a power supply targeting servers and mission critical computers - this is a basic desktop computer replacement. Not meant for gamers, or power users, just a simple replacement power supply. And that, it does quite well.I buy these when they go on sale to use as test PSUs for clients and myself, the problem being that I always end up using it as a replacement, and find myself needing another for testing!

Cons: is not clear which connections the separate rails are on. Max power doesnt seem to add up to 460W. AC power connector is a bit too close to the edge and will contact some older cases requiring a bit of case modding (a little bend or dremel). Not 80+

Pros: Quiet, enough connections (usually), big fan will move a lot of air when necessary. Fan helps with case ventilation as well when used downward facing. Two 18A rails.
Comment:
ould not use the word cra*py to describe  the old PSU! "One or more words found in the text have been deemed improper and unsuitable for submission". Funny!

Comment:
This actually isn't a bad power supply, despite the fact that it got some negative reviews, the main reason for that was because this is really just a 400W Elite Power labeled 460W, at least thats the claim..I haven't opened it up to check, however It's been running flawlessly every since I bought it, even though I've over clocked my processor and memory.. No issues..Capable of 324W on the 12V rail, should be no issues for a entry level or mid range build.. Also this is surprisingly silent, my heatsink & gpu fans are noisier..

Cons: Only one x6 PCI power plug.

Pros: Works. Plenty of connections.
Comment:
Bought it for a cheap PSU to put in a media server. It's by no means some kind of great find, but don't be worried that just 'cause it's not ~$100 and can only do 400W instead of 600W that it's terrible for general use.

Cons: Not super efficient, not a ton of cables.

Pros: Cheap, decent reliability.
Comment:
These are decent power supplies for sure - I've used them in probably 20 builds and never had a bad one. I still prefer better brands (Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, etc.), but I can get these for close to $20 sometimes, so it's tough to say no.
