Worked out of the box. Has a switch on the back, which is nice when working on the machine, and I don't want to unplug it. Quite quiet. Non, match completely into my modest, common ATX case without having issue. Can't beat newegg's costs!

Wonderful cost, is really, isn't loud was simple to install. Can't bolt all four into my chassis, only the bottom two screws screw in the top rated 2 wont, maybe that's my fault because this wasn't built for my chassis. It mentioned it came with a 25$ mail in rebate, in no way got it?

Not clearly stated yet, it powers my EPS12V gigabyte board with fourƲ 12V conn. Have two of these on two different systems over six months. No complaints so far... It has only 1 6 pin conn for pci-e.. Wasn't V2.three want to have an 8 pinn conn for pci-e???

So far so very good. Just the proper amount of cables for most builds. Feels sturdy and has shown no troubles. The key energy connector could have been a bit longer. Just barely produced the connection in a single build with only a mid tower case. Any individual with larger instances that bottom mount PSU plan on buying a 24 PIN extension like aspect #: N82E16812200121.

Nice and quiet PSU. Cable length is very good for a midrange Pc. 500 W and a massive fan, with no excessive heat built up. Making use of this in my HTPC and I hardly notice it operating. I can hear the fan on the video card additional than something. (That'll alter soon). None actually. Understanding the lengths and connectors on the PSU is key to choosing the correct 1, so no cons realizing what you are purchasing ahead of time.Performs nicely!

none at all numerous...you get to believe this is actually a 500w psu since it says 500w everywhere. but as quickly as u put it on you pc it does NOT provide 500w. and if u study the info ON the psu it clearly says "max energy 350W" avoid acquiring these. buy from other recognized brands such as thermaltake Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Client - We apologize for any inconvenience. The label states 350 for the 12V rail. A energy provide has the following rails that every single demand wattage: 12V, -12V, 5VSB, 3.3V. The 12V rail has 350W watts distributed to that only. Computer systems want much more than just the 12V rail to run. The energy provide in question follows Intel's specification ATX two.three. >Good for powering a mid-range laptop>Nice and low-cost - specifically if you got the rebate None so far. The 20Ʋ energy connector is not as very good as some other folks I've noticed - the Ʋ part has no locking mechanism whatsoever. Not truly a con, considering that no a single is typically pulling on cables in your case, but make sure you push it in all the way, and that it isn't pulling out.

Replaced a negative Rosewill piece of junk. This PS worked appropriate off the bat, superb solution! No concerns. None. The 20Ʋ principal energy cable can be confusing to insert correctly. The 4 pin extension is not labeled on which way to connect. I connected it incorrect initially and the pc did not respond. I switched it and almost everything booted up fine.

Operates fine on most systems with no any difficulties, specifically on organization machines. Weird benefits on systems with power necessary video cards.1-) The computer system does not turn back on following around 2 hrs of getting off. You have to tough reset the P/S. (unplug cable and replug and so on.Ɯ-) The pc does not wake up immediately after around 2 hrs of becoming asleep. (only on systems with energy essential video cards)Weird point is, if you turn it back on immediatley right after you turn off or place to sleep, it begins fine. A person would say the power is not enough but immediately after it is turned on, it runs great with no interruption.

Maybe you could locate a less costly 500w PSU, but CoolerMaster is obviously a quite reputable brand so in this case, you really can't beat the cost. Simple to set up, packaging was fairly environmentally friendly, was easy to set up, and performs completely with minimal noise. Why is Newegg/CoolerMaster nonetheless carrying out Mail-in-Rebates? Lost 1 egg for that. Newegg got it here in 48 hours, thanks!

Sleek, straightforward, and quiet -- when it's running adequately. The fan started "ticking" within five hours of very first power-on -- not a good sign! Purchased this PSU to power a new workstation computer I designed for a friend. Immediately after all the components had been in place and Windows 7 was installed on the machine, I left it to run for a couple hours with Speedfan on to check core temperatures and the like. When I returned, I awoke the computer from sleep only to hear a maddeningly consistent "tickticktick"ing noise. It reminds me of the sound my old PSU produced when it was on it's last legs, and but it's only been operating for ɝ hours! It was quite cool and quiet just before One thing hit the fan, so I'll pop the prime to make confident nothing at all's in the way of the fan before I RMA.

Newegg rocks!! Ordered it Monday, shipped it Monday, and got it Tuesday. They constantly ship so quickly for me.I have only been using it for a day, but what I see and hear now it is a good solution for my Gateway 5446e. I had to buy a new video card since my 7650 gs that I had with it dies. I went with a 9500GT. I noticed befor the Cooler Master power supply my temp was 42 or 43 at idle. Now it is idling at 35 or 36 from the 120 mm fan blowing down on my video card. None suitable now, we will see in a handful of months. I would recommend this product proper now.

Doesn't operate, don't know if it has any pros received energy provide as element of a package, place the new Pc together, hit the power switch, nothing at all, other than I don't have the box it came in any longer, due to the fact who expects a brand new energy provide not to work. It's a pretty ugly paper weight.

Properly, I purchased this power provide unit just about about two years ago and back then I wasnt disappointed at all. It's a nice and reputable unit and it's nonetheless running strong, but until recently I purchased a different for my new rig and boy was it a nightmare. I purchased this supply once again for the second time and it was a large headache! My pc would give me BSoD's, random restarts and following a handful of restarts would choose to be stable for a couple of hours. Took me awhile to figure out what was the primary difficulty. Then I replaced it with my other Cooler Master Extreme 500w and compared the two. The new one was considerably far more lighter than the old one, a lot more components in there and the wires had been far better. The old sticker even looked greater! So immediately after the replacement with the old one my new rig is steady as a rock. I guess good quality goes downhill more than the years. Gotta RMA it considering that I can't return it now, don't know if it's even worth the shipping dollars now.
