Rating: 9.25/10

Higher high quality, really stable, modular, low value for so substantially power, quiet, plenty of cables for nearly something, 5 year warrantee. Not fully modular. Had to hide one particular cable behind the MB.

Higher Quality power supply for a fair price tag. what far more can you ask? I have adequate power to do SLI with 2 GTX 470's in the future. none. Quiet, sufficient power for my create, lots of cables. n/a

I got this power provide with a DIY develop named "The Captain - Marine SuperCombo".It's quiet, lots of power, no compaints. Running for nearly a month now. None so far, and don't expect any.

Review Date: 08/26/13
Extremely quiet, a lot of cables, modular, general I am extremely pleased with this item. None

Review Date: 08/20/13
Incredibly QUIET! Love the cable setup! Keeps anything neat and oraganized to increase air flow, plus you dont have all the unneeded cables just hanging about in the case. Has lots of power to run a top finish motherboard, Intel i7-980x, 2 graphics cards, several HD's, and dual Blue-Ray. Does not strain or even get genuine hot. Price tag is a tiny high but you get what you spend for. Would recommend to everyone developing a new gamer technique or prime finish technique who wants to capacity to add hardware later and not have to be concerned about running out of power.

Review Date: 08/18/13
Nicely constructed. Extremely Silent. 5 year assure.Has connectors for dual CPU Ƙ pins). Modular cables are incredibly good to have. none so far

Review Date: 08/12/13
Straightforward Installed, All the wires I required. Quite quiet fan. None so far. Running like a champ so far. I only purchased a single other power supply for an older computer. But the primary issue I noticed about this energy provide over any other I have noticed is the ability to plug in the wires you require and not the ones you don't. This power provide has plugs on the side that goes inside your laptop. You can plug in the energy and information wires you want, no further bundle of wires you don't each and every use. Preserve them in the black bag they send with it. Its a great straightforward notion that makes it extremely valuable.

Power supply worked great for 3 months. Power provide started to fail soon after 3 months. Newegg will not take back following 30 days, so I had to go to CoolerMaster for assistance. Several RMA submissions and assistance email requests were by no means returned. Extremely disappointed in the post-purchase support from Coolermaster. Properly this power supply is wonderful certified, and all. Wonderful warranty, packaging. Was really easy to install and operates great. Not loud at all. None 1000w is a lot more then I needed for the method I was developing. But this is a incredibly fantastic power supply and can handle it all.

Silent, powerfull, seeking very good for 3 week after that, nigthmare appears. i had a corsair hx620 whit my gtx 480 which was operating fine and wanted to get a a different gtx 480 to sli them, but was missing amp & power,so i both a coolermaster silent pro-m 1000 watts, plug it and worked fine for three week and now im FRUSTRATED..... Cause it shutdown by it self and reboot rigth soon after by it self.Immediately after a day of changing portion,i found out that the power supply is faulty result in the back adapter of the energy provide is loose and every time i would stick the wire all the way true ,the laptop wouldn't start .By removing the wire back a bit and moving it left to rigth it would suddently boot and remain stable untill i listen to music or play game.It seems the vibration of my logitech Z-5500 is not helping the loosen adapter in the back of the energy supply.so im stuck whit a a different gtx480 that i ordered on the third week exactly where almost everything was fine .but didn't even bother sli both when i can't even power up my pc for 2 hours in a roll ,result in of that faulty energy supply back adapter. Im back whit my hx620 and one particular gtx 480 and the other one stand in the closet.

The cards are significantly a lot more economical than some of the larger finish ATI/AMD cards, which created them attractive to me. Took a gamble with MSI graphics cards, and I have to say I'm really impressed. I'm running two of these tiny guys in CrossFireX and couldn't be happier with the functionality in DirectX 10 and 11 games.Great value for DirectX 11 cards. They run quiet, even below sustained complete load. 128 bit as an alternative of 256 bit? They even have a ฮ mail in rebate, so keeping my fingers crossed that'll come by means of!

Still look like a nice solution. Quality develop. Modular Not operating when received... have to wait to get a replacement... have to spend shipping for replacement. Item arrived defective

Review Date: 03/25/13
Extremely Nice. It is just as pretty and as quiet and apparently as stable as they say it is. The modular connectors are genuinely simple to use and the flat-ribbon style cables make for an effortless and attractive installation. Its not as excellent as winning the lottery. This PSU is a bit additional costly than some of the other people in its class but very frankly it is a greater part than they are. I replaced a corsair 750 watt PSU with this 1 as aspect of a basic system upgrade and I seriously believe that this is a better portion than the corsair models just judging by the ease of installation and attractiveness of the unit sitting in my case.

This PSU delivers all the energy you will ever will need for any reasonable construct. It runs silent and it runs cold, even under intense use. It is power effiecent. It is rock solid. It is modular for a neat clean develop, but doesent have any crossfeed troubles. Got to love it. None Almost certainly much more power than you will need unless you run a lot of higher-end graphics cards.

Review Date: 02/26/13
-Additional energy than I will need, prepared for upgrades. -Better efficiency than my last PSU (full load while gaming pulls about 360w watts from the outlet...last PSU was 400w). That is a 10% energy savings!-Quiet!-The modular cables for the SATA drives all are various lengths ƒ, 3, or four connectors) - so you can use precisely as numerous as you need. -Contains a good cloth pouch to maintain the extra cables you are not working with right now, but may well want later when you choose to set up a RAID6 and do a triple SLI. -The rubber spacers are a great idea, but sadly I could not use them in my case... the space exactly where the PSU mounts was also tight. -The ribbon style power cables are an exciting idea, I did not find them to be any less complicated to route than a traditional power cable with a nylon mesh. Incredibly quiet energy provide. Modular style is awe-to-the-some. Handles my crossfire set up nicely. Some plugs don't really feel incredibly secure, even although they lock into spot. Lost in Translation was a wonderful film.

1. Effectively constructed of all Aluminumtwo. Aesthetically attractive3. Style and layout is great with only a couple flawsfour. Functionality such as MB tray, drive installation and Air flow. 1. They need to have allowed far more area behind MB tray for cable management, the space is tight and if not cautious you can bring about side panel will buckle and turn into warped. 2. If you set up the optional fan in the bottom of the case it blocks access to the PSU's filter. I basically adore the removable MB tray, and this 1 is exceptionally wide, which is even superior. You can mount a 120mm radiator on the rear section of the tray allowing you to remove the tray with your MB and cooling method such as a Corsair H50 or Coolit Eco water cooling program intact.

This is an extremely stable PSU with a good style. All cables but the necessary ones are modular and it aids to keep the inside of the case quite clean. This PSU also incorporates rubber "grommets" for decreasing vibration in a case, which are optional if you so decide on to install them, on the other hand it's just as silent devoid of.This is one particular of the few PSUs that involves two sets of eight-pin CPU power. Plugged into my Rampage III Extreme and this gave my CPU the additional stability in overclocking. It really should also be noted that all GPU power cables are 6ư, which implies they're eight-pin energy cables with backwards compatibility, in contrast to a few critiques where I've observed persons complain about obtaining to use six-pin to eight-pin adapters I'm a case modder and I really like cable management, so I was very disappointed with the style and lengths of the cables included with this PSU. 3 of the six GPU cables are 6" shorter than the other individuals, which meant I could route three of the four expected GPU cables behind my motherboard tray, then the other had to keep up front and bundled at the bottom of my case.CPU energy cables are also rather short, just barely extended enough to reach up to my CPU with no slack in amongst. I generally want to be in a position to route these behind my motherboard tray but I had to stay away from that this time. The SATA energy cables are upside down compared to SATA drives, which means if you have a bottom mounting case you either have to mount your drives upside down or twist your cables in all sorts of weird directions. The flat style cable seems to be a larger pain for cable management. Bundling them up is far more tough when cables branch in all different directions and it becomes a a lot thicker set of cables when over All in all, this PSU is excellent, it offers enough power for an i7-950 overclocked to 4.2GHz and two GTX 580s in SLI.Even although I own a Cooler Master case, I couldn't set up the rubber vibration dampeners, they just didn't operate with my Cosmos. I suspect this will be an issue for most individuals, but it's not a actual (functionality) challenge.I really truly genuinely wish the cable lengths were just a tad bit diverse and that the SATA connections had been flipped. I can't bear in mind the last time I owned a case (Or ANY Cooler master case) exactly where the PSU was prime mounted, so the fact that they were made for a leading mount case is strange. I also had to leave a huge bundle of cables at the bottom of my case for the GPU power mainly because half of the power cables are of insufficient length. It's baffling that three (and not 4) cables would be one length and the rest yet another. I can't don\'t forget the last time I installed several GPUs that had an odd quantity of 6Ǟ pin energy connections... or ever.

Newegg only took three days to ship my order DOA. The box was terribly packed. A bunch of manufacturer boxes thrown into a corrugated box with foam peanuts. The heavy power provide was at the bottom of the corrugated box, and who knows how many blows it took in transit Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Consumer,We apologize for any inconvenience. This issue is sexy! Tons of modular power, lots and lots of cables. You can't go incorrect with this PSU. None

This PSU is the ideal for its value ideal now. You won't uncover a good quality 1000W single 12v 80amp rail for beneath 200 bucks.-Cables = Great and extended.-Active PFC-Modular-Capable of powering higher finish SLI/Xfire builds.-Sufficient juice for something you need. -Singe 12v 80 amp rail = win.Ordered it on Monday got it on Friday. three day assured shipping from Newegg. :D None at the moment and I really doubt there ever will be. Would highly advise a person looking for a new PSU to obtain this 1. Newegg has a fantastic discount and you are getting a lot of juice for a wonderful price tag.

No concerns with the power or stability of this unit but see key con under. Did not have the essential connectors for two Asus ROG Matrix 5870 video cards. The cards have two 8-pin energy connections each and every and this unit did not have the cables or connections to assistance them. No true 8-pin PCIe connectors came with it so I needed to use the Y energy cables that came with the card. Challenge is each and every cable connects to two of the 6-pin PCIe connectors on the supply to power one particular eight-pin connector on the card. So that's 4 6-pin power connectors needed for every card, eight for Crossfire. But the supply only has six so you end up two short. I ended up RMA'ing the unit and acquiring a Corsair HX1000 which has six true 8-pin PCIe connectors so I didn't require to use the Y cables and with six connectors you could run three ROG 5870 cards if you wanted to. So just a word to the wise if you're arranging to run those cards in Crossfire, don't get this unit. If your card has one particular eight-pin or two 6-pin PCIe connectors you really should be fine going Crossfire or SLI. Seemed like a fine energy supply otherwise, just couldn't use it for what I needed.

1000wcooler master is general good excellent. you hear the switching of the power provide. it was a constant buzz and it was the loudest point in my tower (i7-960, 8 fans, AMD 6870, 2 7200RPM 1TBs) switched out for a Silverstone ST1000-P. it's far more costly. but i do not hear the switching buzz any longer. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer - We apologize for any inconvenience. The power supply can be replaced below the 5 year warranty through the eRMA link beneath.
