Installed and operating, most likely more than enough power for my system and future proof. Operating 2 GTX 470's without having a challenge. Modular cables are good and isn't as well loud. Comes in wonderful packaging with cables for up to 4 SLI. The eight pin cables for cpu and modular cables for 4 pin connectors are alittle short. Have to run them over the board to attain, due to mounting the ps on bottom of case. Most likely would not be a dilemma if it was a best mount. I would have like to run the cables up and around for a cleaner appear but no biggy. |

This PS is much more than adequate power to handle the nVidia GTX 580 in SLI. The single 12v rail runs at 98A. A single 580 needs 42A. Not certain if it will run tri-SLI, but most games barely scale 2Ʌ in SLI and you are get a five-10% performance improve with tri-SLI. So IMO it is not worth it. If you are going to build a high functionality systems, THIS is the PS to get! 1200W, 80 Plus GOLD, 98A 12v rail, reduced heat. That is is why it is more costly than the other 1200W PS's. This is Top quality!!! None. Some people say it's not completely modular, properly, you want the 24 pin ATX cable correct??! And the video cable(s). Only the molex and SATA cables are modular which is totally fine. If you are developing a top of the line technique then you will have the spare room for sufficient cable management. It's funny has all these other PS's at this range go on sale and this a single doesn't. Possibly mainly because Newegg is trying to get rid of the low-cost garbage. If you want excellent then this is the one to buy!!! |

Remarkable PSU.1,200 watts is sort of a misnomer, though.Reading the specs, there are 1,200 readily available watts but that's distributed all through all connectors delivered with the unit.Only 1 12v rail, but the PSU has intelligent energy handling, and I have not knowledgeable something but pure, clean energy.Comes with a nice pouch for storing added modular plugs, and there is no shortage of them. Good warranty, quick installation.Fan is truly silent and runs cooler than any PSU I've owned in the past 15 (or so) years. It's high-priced to match up with a back-up power provide (if you get one particular which will handle 1,200 watts (not volt amps) the UPS will price you over 躔.I went with the APC XS1500, rated for 865 watts, due to the fact it will be difficult to max-out watts even with an Nvidia 560ti, Intel I7-950, 4 500gb WD HDD's in RAID ten on a Gigabyte X58-UD3R, in a HAF 932 all steel full tower. None. |

I love it, Much more then sufficient power, simple to hook up, and enough plugs to hook up four video cards!! :)four, 6 pin pugs on the simple cords with 4 additional that you can hook up by way of pci-e plugs on the Power Supply. High quality Contral seems to be lacking in corporations all over the place. The Blue wire was disconnected from the Pin when I got it. Carefull what bands you get, quality seems to be lacking when some firms put their product together. I am guessing my Cooler Master hasn't even been tested in high quality manage, otherwise this wire would have been connected. I also ordered a computer from Cyberpowerpc which is a business based in CA, which also had been skipping on QC. |

this thing is amazingly quiet!!!! you would not even know this thing is even on! a lot of horsepower for anything you can throw at it. the cables are a tad bit sort but besides that absolutely nothing else |

Silent, modular and a beautiful exterior finish (black and gold matte). Enough cables for my motherboard, ATI Crossfire cards (x2) and all of my SATA and IDE peripherals. None so far. You can tell from the packaging and nylon velcro pouch (for the additional modular cables) you are obtaining a well put with each other PSU. No LED lights on this unit was a plus for me (not into that variety of "flash" on a technique - I prefer the dark).
