Pros: Very easy to configure for a beginner.Price. Comment:
Asus routers are the only ones that beginners can set up without help! |

Cons: Wireless range does not appear to be exceptional, but given the price that's understandable
Pros: Can upgrade firmware to the freely available dd-wrt, great specs, reasonable price Comment:
I was very pleased with this router. Asus has produced a great value in this router, which only gets better if you decide to swap the OEM firmware out for dd-wrt. |

Cons: None
Pros: Works as expected, priced well Comment:
Needed a router since the Linksys WRTG didn't work properly. Bought this one since it was recommended on the forums and works flawlessly. No more connection drops like the Linksys one I purchased. |

Cons: No 5GHz so you probably won't get 300 Mbps.
Pros: Easy to set upNo dropped signals Comment:
It's a pretty solid router. For setup, for whatever reason, it didn't allow me just to connect right in. Well, ok, it would but it would freeze whenever I changed and saved settings. I had to connect through the included software. Strange. Also, the 300 Mbps is purely theoretical as it doesn't have the 5GHz band. It's clear in the specs so it's my fault for not doing more homework. Also, can't really expect a true 300Mbps router for the price-matched price that I got. The ability to access the 3 modes via a switch on the back is a plus.I haven't needed to flash with DD-WRT since it's been that solid.Satisfactory, but I'd spend the extra $ in the future to get a true 300 Mbps router. |

none yet
Pros: It works, fast, nice features Comment:
Works very nicely. My previous router was a 802.11b so it was a HUGE difference in speed, better technology, way better features. And this router was for my mom, and she had no problem setting it up herself. |

Cons:
None that I can see...
Pros: Fast - lots of customizable options - ASUS build quality Comment:
Best sub-50$ router on the market. I installed this for my girlfriend after having a great experience with my own asus router (RT-N11) - this is simply awesome. You can customize multiple networks, different bandwith management for each, etc... all the options you could ever dream of are in this router. go for it!! |

Cons:
WiFi disconnection problems.
Pros: Cheap for a N router that runs Tomato and DD-WRT firmware. Comment:
I've had this router for a week now and the biggest problem with it is that its WiFI stops working briefly for 30 seconds every 1-3 hours or so. This is with the latest Tomato USB firmware. Reading Tomato/DD-WRT forums people are having the similar issue. See (http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=62896&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=315)This probably isn't a big deal if you are just web surfing but is terrible for video streaming or online gaming. |

Cons:
Build quality
Pros: DD-WRT Compatible, low cost N Router, QoS Comment:
This is an amazing device for the price. I don't believe you can find another N 300 mbps DD-WRT compatible for less than 50$. I strongly recommend using it with the DD-WRT firmware, which is a lot more flexible than the ASUS one (even though ASUS now makes great firmwares). |

Cons:
Nearly useless QOS implementation, super bright LEDs
Pros: Cheap, easy to setup, works Comment:
I use this for connecting the assorted computer devices in my living room to the ADSL modem and computer gear in my den. Pretty simple to setup. The one in the den is setup in router mode and I had this one going in less than a minute. The LR device is in repeater mode and that one took about 30 minutes to get going. Overall a great purchase. Be aware Asus's "Easy QOS" is nearly useless. If you need QOS buy something else. Also, the LED lights are SUPER bright but that's easily fixed with some electrical tape. |

Cons:
Not gigabit.
Pros: Wireless N, Compatible with Tomato and DD-WRT. Comment:
Very good router that I would recommend for friends. The wireless-N is very good, the firmware that come with it is functionnal but can be upgraded easily to Tomato/DD-WRT, and the price is lower than similar product from Linksys. Finally, since it is an ASUS product, I'm confident that it will last long enough for the price I paid. |

Cons:
Drops connection sometimes.
Pros: Easy to set upFast Comment:
Same minor issues with this as with any access point I've ever owned - it isn't reliable 100% of the time. Whether it drop for a few seconds or need to be restarted, it is still better than most I've owned. The speeds are solid and fast, but I would highly recommend ignoring QOS (I'd get rid of it completely if I could). Some people complain about the blue lights, but seriously, there's lights on almost everything. For the price, I would definitely choose this over anything even near it. |
Great, affordable laptop work like a charm, amaizing range, QOS, this router is loaded with feature I recommand it to anybody whos looking for a new router! buy it now it attract women!!!!!!!!!!!!Doesnt do anything more than what it claim!
