Cons: Somewhat reliableOK range

Pros: Small sizeUSB portDD-WRT compatible
Comment:
Stock firmware is a no go for me. DD-WRT make it bearable. Connection drops sometime, but not too often (might be the Linksys router, but not sure) and a power cycle cleans it up. I'm running a printer with this and that is working very well. The range could be better though.

Cons: Took me 3 or 4 hours to figure out how to figure out how to add a TCP port to my XP and windows 7 OS. Thanks to the internet, info is available.

Pros: Easy to set up. Like the functionality of the online management system. Had a Linksys router before with software management. This is better with n speed wifi.Printer server works well once i figured out how to add a TCP port.
Comment:
A great router and printer/mass storage server for the price. Router comes with cd to setup router and printer. Helps if you know how to add a TCP port for your printer. Works well with Epson Stylus Color 860. even though it is not listed as compatible.Wifi works at 802.11n speeds. Good speed with Shaw Extreme 25mbps. Meets my needs.

Cons: None

Pros: Pings great. No delays at all. Stable, fast, feature rich. Accepts open-source firmware upgrade to dd-wrt - sadly not tomato.
Comment:
I bought one of these for a friend from a different retailer well over a year ago. I set it up and it's been stable since. She has 3-5 students sharing her internet and there has been no issues whatsoever. They're in the basement. She's upstairs. Bought one for my girlfriend and she's had it for over a week. Totally stable. I'm jealous of them both. My WRT54gl v.1 is borked so I will pick one up too.

Cons: Awful support from AsusUnstable firmware out of the box

Pros: Looks niceDD-WRT supports this device(non-B1 version)
Comment:
Bought this router last year to replace a dying D-Link router that was driving me insane. Well, this router wasn't much better. The firmware available when I got it was extremely finnicky. When I first hooked it up, everything was fine and dandy. Change any setting, no matter how trivial, and suddenly it claims it can no longer connect to the internet. Your only option at that point is to either hard reset it or wait 4 hours (yes 4 hours) for it to come back to its senses. Another great feature of the firmware is that it is so unstable that the router will completely shut down and reboot itself every other day or so (if you're lucky..I've had it happen half a dozen times in one evening before) Really fun when you're playing online games and you suddenly just disconnect for no reason. The B1 revision is supposedly better, so why am I going on about the older version? Because, while this whole fiasco was going on, Asus did very little to support their customers. And, in the end, Asus just put out a new revision of the router and left all their previous customers to just deal with it. Great customer support, Asus!I would have thrown this router in the trash if it wasn't for DD-WRT finally coming out for this router.

Cons: Having trouble setting up the print server

Pros: Fast inexpensive wireless router
Comment:
Works as it should but having trouble getting the printer to work, not sure if it's the printer, the router or the user that's the problem.
