This encloser is great. It operates and even immediately after my hdd was dropped the hdd was ok. (thank goodness i would have butchered the kid that dropped it) My led burnt out!!!! I left the hdd plugged in for a when and i went back on my computer and i saw that the led was not lighting. But not enough to take an egg off. Seriously i favor the led to be dead anyways. The led is a tad vibrant. And it is like a button that i have pushed a million times that dosnt do something. Perhaps thats why my led burnt out.

Operates wonderful, simple setup...looks fantastic as well. Can't figure out what the small button on the top rated of it does. Had a maxtor one touch mini four that kept beeping (insufficient energy) and for that reason couldn't be recognized by the personal computer. Took the drive out of that and stuck it in this enclosure and the drive after once more performs beautifully.

took about a week to arive. i used the old ps3 hdd that i had switched out. the challenging drive fits true snug and sound and i have had no problems with it. am taking into consideration purchasing yet another a single. the only factor that i don't like is the Y usb cable. it operates fine with just the bigger usb head and when i plug in the additional smaller usb head it doesn't do something. you would believe that it may support the transfer rate of data go up. oh nicely.
