I had Been looking for a good gaming mouse for a long time and thought I had found it. I bought it especially because of the extra side buttons wich I use a lot, my previous optical mouse used to have them on both sides... When I received the product, words could'nt describe how weird it felt in my hand. The side buttons were so hard to click that it wasn't a

Mouse has no firmware for Windows 7. I've had boot issues with this mouse sometimes not working on boot up. The lighting comes on but the mouse cursor just doesn't move. I either have to unplug and plug it back in, or reboot. I've emailed Razer support several times and each time I hit a wall. My next mouse will be coming very soon, either a Mamba or an Imperator. The mouse itself feels amazing, if it weren't for the boot issues and the lack of support I'd be perfectly happy with it.

This mouse is awesome. No delay or jumping, I can knife and fire so much faster. The color and design are great. Going to buy a keyboard to go with it.

This mouse is very good. The first week maybe two weeks it felt pretty wierd cause im not used to the size of the mouse. After that it owned. this mouse is really cool also. It glows blue, and it has 4000 freakin' dpi it is a high quality mouse. I'm gonna go with 4.5 for value on this mouse. It's a little expensive but, it does have a 2 year warranty. I registered online, razer makes great gaming products. Maybe pricy but you get what you pay for.

This is a poor excuse for a high priced piece of gaming hardware. Currently, this mouse will not function properly with Windows 7 nor is the producer willing to provide support for this

Realy liking the ergonomics of this mouse for high end gaming. It DOES take a little getting used to, but once you're there, it's awesome. Great texture to it, long chord, nice sized thumb buttons, and the scroll wheel is not overly responsive, which is a good thing. I didn't use the software that much because I edit everything in game, but it has a cool look and was very easy to use. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. Won't have to switch gaming mice for a long time to come.

This mouse is a great mouse, all the people who gave it ones and two's are idiots, and as such there will be people who give a good product bad review. Its value gets a 4, because for the $65 you pay you get alot of features, however for some $65 can be a bit pricey. It has the best working drivers ever on a mouse, Saitek drivers are buggy, and dont always work, this mouse's drivers however haven't defaulted in the years I've owned it. It has many customizable buttons, an ambidextrous design, which fits perfect righty or lefty(I'm a lefty and its a perfect fit). And it also has DPI up to 4000, which will leave high DPI users content. And who can ignore the cool lights? Overall its a well-built mouse, but I wish the buttons were a little easier to push on the sides, but thats just my preference, and in no way makes the mouse a bad one. Also it's a bit light, but the cord doesn't tangle and it is also very nice looking too For performance this mouse gets a 5, its the best for gaming.

I am a long-time owner of the Razer Diamondback mouse, which in my books, is the best-designed mouse I've ever used. It's comfortable, fast, and the buttons work properly for years. The only problem with it is that its buttons wear down internally over the years due to being made of plastic. So, I decided I'd try a Lachesis. This mouse is AWFUL, mainly due to the impossibility of using the side buttons. To actually press them, you have to push them in at least 4 millimeters. A simple touch doesn't work. You have to MASH them in for them to click. This makes the side buttons on the opposite side absolutely useless and the ones on your thumb side still ridiculous to use. I trashed my Lachesis and bought a new Diamondback 3G, and I suggest you do the same. Now, Razer, please just make the button connectors out of metal instead of plastic, and the Diamondback will be the best mouse ever.

I bought this mouse to improve my gaming. The first day i started haveing problems. When I would boot my PC, the mouse would not boot(on xp or vista). I would have to unplug it and replug it, into the usb port. Then 3 days later, the laser grew a mind of it's own. I would be in game and the mouse would go crazy. Sent it back, and went back to my G5. G5 is the S@#t.

This is the BEST mouse I have ever used, HANDS DOWN! I used the logitech MX518 and the Logitech G5, but this one beats ALL. Get it guys totally recommended and its great. The feel is awesome and the comfort level is OUTSTANDING! The lights are cool too and 4000 DPI really helps if you try ti out. Best mouse. The 3G laser is very smooth and the mouse glides very well. Basically no cons for me because it is practically perfect.

I'm extremely happy with this mouse, However, There are a few cons. 1: Its either impossible or extremely difficult to set a button to launch a program. 2: the two buttons on top (behind the middle mouse button) cant be set to certain funtions. 3: there is a BSOD issue with the firmware v1.75, but that will more than likely be fixed soon, and there really arent any features you will miss out on if you choose to stick with v1.0 (seems to be very stable so far running 1.0) Dispite the cons though, This mouse is amazing, 4000DPI is most likely overkill for anyone, So it does have the option of changing the DPI from 500 to 4000 in steps of 125. I also like that your profile settings are saved within the mouse itself, meaning you can set up the mouse how you want, use the mouse with a computer that does NOT have the mouse drivers installed, and it keeps your settings on any PC you use it on! Needless to say, the 1MS response time eliminates lag compeltely!

i really loved this mouse. It feels comfortable in my hand and the buttons on the side are pretty handy dandy. razer did a real good job with the configuration so i adjust my sensitivity in the middle of a game. I also like the cool lights

I regretfully bought this mouse based on the reviews. I know, not the wisest decision. I'm really not that impressed. Yes, it IS senstive, I'll give it that. Most of the time while using it I never knew where the hell my mouse pointer was which caused major problems for me in games since I'm a clicker as opposed to binding powers to a key. I spent $69.99 for a mouse I don't use, and I can't even give it away... nobody wants it. My Logitech MX518 mouse performs way better than this, and I've switched back to it. Don't waste your money.

This mouse works great. Smooth and fast. The only problem I have is using the buttons on the side, the mouse slips out of my hands when I try to use them because of its sorta tear dropped shape. So that kinda defeats the buttons on the side, totally worth less when it comes to speed. Which is the purpose of a gaming mouse.

This mouse totally kicks butt. It is so fast on my 1920x1200 screen resolution I only have to move it about half an inch to go completely across the screen. It is an amazing mouse! The only thing I have found with it that I do not like is that sometimes it gets stuck on the X-Axis and only goes left and right, but a simple moving of the mouse really fast fixes the problem. It also shows wear from use after time, you can tell where my fingers and hand rest, but this happens with all mice. It is also fun to freak people out. When they use it they are like ''Wow, I can't even control it it is so fast!'' lol

I literally just bought this and have been using it for a couple of hours, and I must admit it is awesome! The glow coming from it is really attractive, the comfort level is outstanding, and it is extremely sensitive, especially, of course, at 4000 DPI! One tap of the mouse, and my pointer is all the way at the other end of the screen. Great for gaming as well. The only downside was when I was upgrading the firmware on the mouse: after I finished updating it, I had a BSOD, and everytime I use the configuration controls once, I can't access them again through the system tray, I have to open it through the start menu. Of course, I made a desktop shortcut for this and problem solved (I am running Windows Vista Premiun with 2GB of RAM). Make sure you register this product with their website right after installation. Also, I can actually see some finger prints on its rubber surface, but no big deal. One last thing: Don't buy this from a retail store, they will rip you off!

All i can say is wow, had my mouse for a few weeks now, and i love it. This is a big change from my logitech, only thing that is weird is the way you grip it, i keep thinking that i am going to hit the side buttons, but i do not hit them. Very good for the price. Hope to buy more!

Great mouse bit pricey but if your into your multiplayer games well worth it. Speed and control is excellent may take some time to get used to how sensitive it is on the highest setting but everything can be customized to suit the user. Had a copperhead this is on the same line except 2X better.

The last person obviously does not have a Lachesis mouse and doesn't know that this mouse is sorta new but new firmwares and updates are on the way. This mouse is great, a little pricey but it's as good as any other razer mouse out there and I actually like it a little better. You can set your DPI or sensitivity on the fly, have different configurations on the mouse, and it's a Razer! This is just an awesome mouse!

The biggest waste of money EVER! No updates for the firmware, software or anything related. Razer completely denies all support for their product, leaving us customers in the back asking for help. This mouse is not polished enought to be sold as a final product. You feel like a beta tester. Don't bother with this garbage and get yourself a G5 from Logitech which OWNS everything razer has to offer!
