Cons: - Mouse Feet- inaccurate movements due to quickly worn out feet

Pros: - Plenty of DPI choices- dimples for your fingers
Comment:
While this seems like a nice mouse it has the worst teflon feet ever. In all the previous mice I have never had to worry about the feet. Now after six months, the front feet are gone. I use a teflon coated steel mousepad, so if you have one of those fabric mousepads the feet might last longer.Razer admits their mouse feet wear out faster and claim it's better for gaming. The truth is it makes little difference to your gaming and a great deal to your wallet.Want to replace the feet? It's $10 + $25 Shipping - might as well buy a new mouse instead of replacing the feet.

Cons: Buttons on right.

Pros: Very precise mouse, good looking with complete drivers, buttons on the left, DPI on-the-fly setting adjustement.
Comment:
Really good looking mouse with a very complete driver (you can even turn off the scroll wheel light or the logo on the mouse). The two buttons on the left are easily accessible but I cannot reach the two on the right side (depending of which side you're using the mouse as it is ambidextrous). The on-the-fly DPI setting adjustment near the scroll wheel is a very great add-on to your games.

Cons: Over sensitive laser, jumpy cursor

Pros: Macro features, omni-dexterous, 6 programmable buttons (2 left, 2 right, 2 top), light, no USB cable racketing even in gaming, great feel, buttons feel responsive, on the fly DPI.
Comment:
Great for gaming, however, the unit is known to be plagued with some design flaws. Numerous individuals have the jumpy cursor problem which happens often, even in the newer mouses like the Mamba. The laser is a little too sensitive even at the lowest DPI. For example, if you gently tap within several inches of the mouse the cursor will move, you may also notice this a little when you burst click to open a folder or in gaming (cursor moves a couple pixels). This is a huge annoyance on some units, but once you look past this flaw, this is a great mouse.

Cons: The feeling is horrible. It's very expensive.

Pros: It looks very nice.
Comment:
I own a Microsoft G5 mouse, and it's day and night. If you allready used a G5 and like the way your hand sits on the mouse, you won't like the Lachesis. It does look good however...

Cons: - Side buttons are little stiff to press

Pros: - Fast tracking- On the fly dpi resolution changing
Comment:
This is the first gaming mouse I purchased and I was blown away with the speed and accuracy of the tracking on this mouse. If you are into gaming then this mouse will definitely take your game to a higher level. Also will be great for graphic artists because lowering the dpi resolution will help edit pictures down to the pixel much easier.

Cons: After extended use, oil starts to build up on the surface of the mouse

Pros: Movement is very precise, the software to program the mouse is easy to use
Comment:
This is my first Razer branded mouse for myself. I've purchased this one before for a co-worker as well as my manager. The reason I got it was because when I tried my co-workers, it felt perfect in my hands. The feel of the mouse was good, response was good and it looked great. Now that I have it, I find that after extended use, oil from my right-index finger seems to sit on the surface of the left mouse click. I then have to wipe it down to bring back the proper feeling.I also find that the two buttons on the right side of the mouse are totally useless if you're right handed. Accessing them is so difficult (at least for my hand) that there is no point in using them. It might be better for Razer to remove those two buttons, sell this as a 7-button and sell it cheaper.

Cons: Un peu grosse.

Comment:
This review was modfied by poster @ 10-17-09 02:12 PM

Cons: -Overly sensitive for normal tasks-Could be more comfortable-Not worth it unless you play a lot of FPS games-Not for everyday computing

Pros: -Good Price 59.99!-4000 DPI-1000hz polling rate!-Looks cool-Razer name-Great for FPS gaming-on the fly DPI adjustment-9 buttons
Comment:
I used it to replace my Logitech mx510 and the difference is amazing. I dont find myself using anything over 2000 dpi. I found I had to take a day to get used to this mouse as I hated how quick it was at first and how sensitive it was. As soon as you get used to it, bam, its an amazing mouse that is perfect for any FPS gamer. If you aren't into high sensitivity gaming I would say stick with your lower DPI mouse as this definitely would not be worth it. If youre into action packed games, pick this thing up, its awesome!update  --- Ive lowered the stars because the mouse annoyingly has problems now and again, sometimes the cursor jumps. I read this is a common problem so I am not overly pleased anymore. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-12-09 04:39 PM

Cons: -strange that the laser occasionally jumps around even when my desk is stable and the mouse isn't moving (I'm even using a Razer exactMat) -can't adjust weight

Pros: -good grip-decent ergonomics-saves your configurations
Comment:
Not a bad mouse, only thing I realized is that I don't play much fps on my computer so it's pretty much at waste... lolbut it's great with the on the fly dpi adjustor keys so I can get precise pointing for photoshop and such.

Cons: -Nothing

Pros: -Great ergonomic design-Excellent cable length-Supplied software provides phenominal options
Comment:
This mouse is easily the best I've ever owned, above all the Logitech's that I've tried. The white backlight on the scroll wheel and the logo is nice and subtle, good grip for even long gaming hours of sweaty hands.Responsive and the profile options are a great help when switching between games or normal desktop applications.

Cons: -Not so great for people who like to rest their palm on the mouse.-At times hard to use opposite side buttons. (I set them to my default lowest DPI and standard fps DPI for getting quickly back to sniping/regular speed if I ever change to somewhere in between using the incremental DPI UP/DOWN buttons. Works flawlessly)-due to the way you hold the mouse, may be difficult to 'twitch' reach the internet forward button in a snap firefight.-Price. PMatch for best results.

Pros: +On the fly DPI AND sensitivity settings, both in incrimental changes should you like that sort of thing.+Lightweight (Con for some. Pro for me after using many wireless mice)+Extremely configurable, including options to turn off the 'bling'+Wheel has solid indents for smooth, accurate scrolling+Great for people who like to rest their palm on the mousepad.+Hasn't lost tracking once.
Comment:
Overall very satisfied. Light, responsive, good feel, and enough configurations to sate the demands of any needy gamer.

Cons: No Win2003 drivers.

Pros: Fits the form of my hand nicely.
Comment:
Seems as though NCIX sent me a refurb or something. When I opened up the box the mouse had the plastic underneath it folded up to the top of the mouse, and the manual/cd 'case' looked a little worn down.Looks like I'll be visiting my Vista partition more frequently as Razer does not have any drivers for this mouse for Windows 2003... usually I can run the installer in compatibility mode for XP but alas this does not seem to work - and seemed to screw up my Plantronics USB headset drivers =/
