Cons: the buttons could be a tiny bit smaller but it's not a big deal

I bought the cheapest razer mouse and im very pleased, if you look at the specs even compared to a more expensive one like the coppperhead it bodes well.anyways i had an logitech mx300 before this and the difference was immediate.... my aim improved drastically when i first got this mouse, all of a sudden im hitting air rockets in quake live lol.if you like small mice this is great, it allows you to aim with your wrist more and it is very precise. |

I was happily using the same reliable 86 Hz Logitech optical mouse, to play RTS games, and games on Steam, for the past 5+ years. After that long, I just felt like upgrading to a gaming mouse, and perhaps I could squeeze more APM out of my matches.I've tried many demonstration mice and was about to purchase a Krait, until, the Salmosa became available. The Salmosa markets itself as an entry level gaming mouse just as the Krait did, but with the DeathAdders 3G infared sensor! The bottom has two flush mechanical switches one for DPI, and other for the polling rate. As a high sensitivity gamer, the switches are on high, and they keep when I switch to a friend's computer. Even with Windows generic mouse drivers. The on the fly sensitivity adjustment is redundant to me, as it's always on high, plus I don't have a 4th button to assign it to anyway.There was an issue in the first couple weeks after purchase that the left click button was squeeking, but has since "worn away". Also, the included driver CD doesn't include drivers. Only a program which connects to where you get the latest drivers.Although I have reservations, this is a great, small comforable mouse for a finger gripper. |
I bought this to replace my old logitech mouse. It's much more precise and the switches underneath are useful for quick ajustements. The only thing is that it started to squeak sometimes when clicking the left button.
