Cons: Cheaply made, worst durability in the industry (worse than $5 mice), terrible Razer customer service and replacement process

Pros: Lots of buttons, pretty lights (oooh!)
Comment:
I've gone through two of these in the past fourteen months, both died because of the same double-clicking problem. Razer mice are known for their low durability, garbage firmware upgrade process (frequently kills the mouse completely), and terrible software. Out of the box, it's a great mouse for games like World of Warcraft, but each mouse only lasts a few months - far, far less than $5-$10 mice. I don't even know how it's possible to make such a crap mouse when it's actually very simple to solve the mechanical double-bounce problem (Digital Design 101). Even the $5-$10 mice have more engineering effort put into them than this so-called gaming mouse. Also, for people with bigger hands, i.e. most men, this mouse also quickly gets very uncomfortable.Sure, there's a 2 year limited warranty, but Razer won't pay for return shipping and that's assuming the terrible customer service reps accept your RMA request (beware the fake firmware "fix" for the double-click issue). Shipping from Canada with the cheapest option costs $8, so be prepared to spend $24-$32 extra on RMAs if you still want to get this piece of junk (best to just go with the NCIX replacement plan). Razer sells because of their brand and marketing, yet they make the complete opposite of precise, quality gaming gear. Stay away from this mice and all other Razer mice, they are a sham of a company with a bloated marketing department and non-existent R&D/engineering. Cypress designs and manufactures the mice hardware, Razer simply designs the (extremely cheap and poorly engineered) chassis and customize, i.e. butcher, the firmware. Logitech has recently released the G602 (in the same price range), a Wireless 12-button mouse that actually advertises the durability (20 million clicks). Get a real mouse, not some gold-plated plastic bling that will fail on you within months of normal use.

Fairly self evident, but the thumb pad is simply utilized (ok, ten-12 can be a little bit of a stretch in a pinch if you're, say, tanking your favourite raid atmosphere. The addition of O/S side macro programming is a excellent touch. Really a very comfortable mouse to use for long periods. The only situation I've ever had with mine is that, when they wrapped the wire from the factory, the bends in the cord have been so tight that they under no circumstances came out. They just seemed to harden. Granted, this may possibly no longer be applicable [as I've had mine since the Naga launched] but is nonetheless anything to kep an eye out for. Thanks to a metal keyboard tray and dry wintery circumstances, I believe static has brought on my naga to go a bit senile. Lately it's gotten in the habit of reading a single clck as a incredibly rapid double click, causing issues with deciding on and copy/pasting several products on the desktop. I'm truly writing this assessment just prior to ordering my 2nd naga so that the first can be retired. When I can't vouch for other genres, I can not Imagine attempting to play WoW without this mouse at this point. It's completely 2nd nature to me at this point, and has given that about an hour right after starting with it.

Excellent feel, the buttons are super effortless to get applied to only takes about a day. Lights are able to be turned on and off. Rope Corded usb is generally a plus. A little modest, couldn't hurt to be perhaps a inch larger, larger hands can use will just take some obtaining use to. The rope corded usb has some kinks that won't ever come out. Top rated left buttons are fairly useless unless you use your left click finger for them. All in all a fantastic acquire the drivers you have to download from Razor's website (didn't come with a cd) wasn't a difficult course of action to download but a little difficult as you had to pick the certain version instead of just giving you the most recent.

This is my second Razer Naga, I had the typical blue one particular, sold it to a pal for 40 bucks and got this 1 simply because I liked the way it looked superior. The Greatest MMORPG mouse you can purchase hands down. You just have to study the buttons and you're set. Learning the buttons can take a little time, and it does feel strange for the very first hour or so, but soon after that it's wonderful having so several actions at the touch of my thumb. On my old Naga, the two little buttons were harder to press in... Appears like they've produced them a lot easier to push now. But they're still in a sort of awkward location. I use them for an auto-run button anyway, so they don't need to be easily accessed, which doesn't make it a con for me.

-It's extremely attractive-Excellent size for my hand-Feels fantastic-Button placement is phenomenal-12 buttons to get rid of the require to move your hand all over the keyboard-Good bit of weight-Glides across my mouse pad-Fantastic DPI settings, I set DPI up to the front left button and down to the a single below it, functions perfectly-Played around with it in WoW, only took a couple of random fights to get applied to the buttons-By no means have to move my hand away from the movement keys on my keyboard again -None, fantastic job Razer -The WoW addon is a bit bulky and annoying, I found bartender to be substantially additional useful, particularly considering that I've been making use of it for a couple of months

-Buttons and fantastic software for uncomplicated macros-Tons of user customization selections-Very good ergonomics-Lighting & all round appearance -I dislike the ring finger rest, it makes me feel like I have significantly less control over the mouse in FPS's, but is great outside of that-Placement of forward/back buttons, but that is to be expected with the quantity pad-Braided cord This mouse looks, feels, and performs wonderful out of the box. A bit of tweaking will be essential to suit your needs, I choose 1200 DPI use general since it feels like my old mouse did that I utilized for years. The quantity undesirable must only take a day or two at most to get utilised to as Razer claims, just give it some time to develop on you. I don't seriously like the slimness of the braided cord. It also slightly catches on the leading of my desktop keyboard/mouse tray area when I'm moving it up and down due to it not becoming a slick wire like any other USB cord would be. Nothing at all to hinder overall performance, but I come across it slightly annoying and pointless that they employed this variety of setup.

Feels fantastic for extended gaming, 1-12 hotkeys perform right out of box no need to have for drivers(running on win7 x64) Only took about 18 hours of gameplay to get the really feel/memory of the 1-12 hotkeys Wonderful mouse I would absolutely recommend for anybody who Plays WoW or Starcraftƒ) or any other game that calls for hotkeys to play... None at all It appears genuinely cool as well glowing red, I believed may distract me from gaming but I seriously dont even notice it that a lot and they lit up hotkeys on side seriously helped alot in learning the hotkeys and you can turn them off it they do bother you...

Cons: Mouse button 4 and 5 (Not the keypad, but on the side 4 and 5) are a little awkward. Keep in mind, the buttons on the side of your mouse are NOT new individual keys. They will either map to your 1 through equals (=) on your keyboard, or your numpad.

Pros: Lots of keys. Keys are individually lit for the night owls that like to play in the dark. The Naga Decal on the palm rest looks absolutely amazing. It's very sensitive and you can change the DPI to your preference. You can also turn off the lights on the mouse if you really wanted to. The mouse cord is braided as well.
Comment:
I bought this mouse specifically to play Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft with. I assumed the extra keys on the side of the mouse would add an additional 12 mappable keys, however this isn't the case. It has a switch on the bottom that allows you to switch from either your top number keys or your numpad. Most Warcraft players are used to using the top number keys for skills by default, so it falls to being used for numpad keys. It also doesn't consider them by number, but by their numpad values by default (1=End, 8= Up arrow key, etc) which leaves 5 unmappable by default in WoW. You can remap the buttons on the switch with the program that comes with the mouse, but it's still restricted to the keyboard.Once I figured that hassle out however, this mouse has been AWESOME. Very sensitive, given me a tonne more control in my SC2 experience. The keys on the side are very handy for buff spells and target reticule aoe spells on WoW, and I imagine would be suitable for the same things on say Guild Wars 2 or Rifts. The mouse feels great and is molded to a right handed persons hand with ample grip. The USB chord is also braided rather than rubberized While it's a little on the expensive side, I don't regret my decision in purchasing it.

Ive been using this mouse for half a year now and it's been very good. The Marcos are fun to use and there's a little bump on one of the number to show that it's in the middle, which is a very nice detail they added. I would recommend this but it's rather quite expensive.

Looks Great...Comfortable...The obvious macro keys, Possibly why we all bought it...Its Razer, don't care for there keyboards but for mice its the only brand i'd personally acquire...The keys at 1st looked like they would be tough to use but there not...It has a good placement and you wont be all confused when attempting to hit the appropriate one particular. Value...I mean for what you get its worth it...I have observed worse for additional income...But face it its still a mouse...I know people who have spent much less on their monitor (Used)...And I hate to say it but it wasn't cheapest on newegg. Got it from the official web site for considerably less like shipping. Enjoy Razer mice...Purchase a single you will as well!!!

The two extra buttons on the left click are impossible to use... at least for me.

It has Remarkable response time, amazingly sensitive, and fits perfectly into the contour of my hand. It doesn't even really feel like I'm holding anything. It glides with minimal motion and barely any resistance. The buttons on both the top rated and the side grant just sufficient resistance to avoid random misclicks. The forward/back buttons are located a small bit too far forward on the left side, but it's not too large of a dilemma.Often the laser is too sensitive, and the mouse will move if someone tends to make the floor/desk/table shake even a small bit.

Quite preciseLooks greatMacro help is the explanation to get this (macros are programmed through the Razer software program. Its very similar to a Logitech G15 keyboards macro configurator. )Defiantly my new preferred mouse for MMOs.It feels a tiny tiny in my hand coming from the Logitech G500, but is nevertheless comfy and contours my hand fairly nicely. The tiny bulbous outgrowth for your ring finger to rest on actually helps. Also the design and lighting looks fairly awesome. The software program will allow you to manage the lighting for the Razer Logo independently of the ScrollWheel/ThumbGrip lighting (on/off). The razer logo light fades in and out slowly when in the on position. The sensitivty controls are the finest I've utilized. You can go from 100 DPI all the way up to 5600 DPI in 100 DPI increments. Whilst I'll admit that the forward/back buttons on the mouse are not quite as easy to use as the typical thumb based ones on most mice, I have no difficulty using them. I consider when you get applied to using your index finger for forward/back as an alternative of your thumb, its not as well negative.I truly would have liked to see a 'sniper' button like the rat7 mouse has. I recognize this mouse is geared for MMO use, but a little button above the ƈ' button would have created a good sniper button.

Just an awesome mouse if you are a MMO player. I am just completely content with it. It is a small small for my hand but i have substantial hands therefore I practically usually use trackballs but this fits ok and grips quite great when you squeeze. buttons are extremely good but take about ten-15 hours of use to truly start off employing them efficiently but following that you are way more efficient in game. Red lights great and bright, dont go with my blue every little thing else but it is sweet seeking. really really customizeable for each button and the sensitivity. Just a good mouse! Could be bigger paired with the nostromo and a headset I nearly by no means touch the keyboard any longer and I have substantially much less wrist fatigue. I am now hunting for a very good deal on a high quality mouse pad and wrist support for far more comfort. extremely advised to have a high high quality pad.

I play World of warcraft and it is just awesome. It changed all my gamestyle. It gives you an ''unfair advantage'' if you play a lot of MMORPGs. There are so many buttons and you will quickly use them all. blue light makes it looks awesome. It is a very reasonable price !At the begining I thought it would be hard to use all the buttons proprely, but you get use to it very quickly. I didn't even use the sticker that they give to you for practicing. On the other side of the hand, the two top left buttons are kind of hard to reach, but once more, you get use to it quickly. it is a small mouse, but it is comfortable. I even use it for FPS games and I still like it. Since then, I switched almost all my computer gears to Razer ! nice work !
