Coming off a standard optical mouse, this issue is super. I can't think how precise the tracking is. The mouse arrow no longer jitters when moving slowly. The feel is superb, the wheel feels solid. If anything, the application does have a small finding out curve. I've noticed that the non-laser mice had difficulty tracking mousepads at slow speed. The arrow would jitter and not go where I wanted it to go. This laser (I am certain all lasers function the same) eliminated all that jittering. Whilst it did not enhance my gaming on COD4, and so forth. (I nonetheless get bopped just as significantly), but when I use it for general use, It is substantially smoother. Also the teflon glide pads make this a single of the smoothest mice to move on a pad. I usually like the Logitech mice, but this 1 feels significantly better, far more strong, much better surface. It is my new friend on my computer desk.

Was good, loved the really feel of it and the braided usb cable, straightforward ajust dpi and yada yada.... Had this thing for about 6 months, bought it at Ideal Buy. Worked fine for awhile, then when in a whilst after restarting cpu the factor wouldn't perform for a few min. And just the other day it quit, just died. Only thing working on this plastic paperweight not is the buttons, and thats it, laser doesn't work and no lights on. Initially and final time straying away from Logitech, went back to my MX revolution I've had because it's release and nonetheless no issues with it. Was dissappointed, heard great issues about the business and enjoyed it while it lasted, in no way made sense to me why it was 80 bucks though, other than the 5600 dpi.

- Up to 5600dpi tracking for those of you that prefer that super-sensitive and twitchy FPS playing style.- Even in lower DPI modes: 3500+/- dpi and 2000+/- dpi and under it tracks really accurately and smoothly and more accurately than any other mouse I've used to date.- three.5G laser: tracks your mousing motions a lot far more noticeably precise and smoothly than their 3G laser that I just upgraded from.- Superb pressure resistance from all the buttons: only a minimal amount of force required to depress the button but adequate resistance for correct double clicking or burst-firing in FPS games.- If you're correct-handed, this will contour to your hand very effectively as it is developed to also be ergonomic for righties.- Adjustable thumb buttons! I don't will need to adjust to any new grip styles as I can spot the thumb buttons exactly where I want them to be. - I want it was counterweighted a tiny bit much more for my personal private preferences.- I also want the thumb rest area was made out of the same matte-rubberized material as the top of the mouse as i find it a bit slippery. It doesn't detract my my gaming but it offers me that feeling that my thumb is oily from consuming fried chicken and that it may slip off.- Razer software program: I've generally regarded as Razer's interfacing application for keyboards and mice to be type of lacking but this shouldn't detract from the performance of the mouse itself. The very first point I did immediately after I installed the mouse was play Modern Warfare 2, TF2, L4D2 and later integrated in some WC3. I've noticed that my gameplay has improved drastically in terms of aiming accuracy, consistency- and this is no joke! I've read only 3 reviews on this mouse prior to I was sold to acquire it for ergonomic purposes (because I'm a righty and I prefer ergonomic mice over ambidextrous due to the risk of carpal tunnel). But soon after experiencing the mouse myself the doubts and skeptisms have been quelled. I'm really picky about my mice and I'm not a brand loyalist. In the last 5 years I've gone and employed Razer: Copperhead, Lachesis, DeathAdders; Logitech: G5, G500, MX1000, MX Revolution. The Razer Imperator is my preferred out of the bunch. The old Logitechs has been demoted to laptop duty upstairs for general mousing purposes. As for the desktop gaming rig the Imperator is my new child. Time to choose up a Razer Destructor mat to replace my 4 year-old Razer ExactMat.

I really like this mouse, I've had it for effectively more than a year and I also did encounter the mouse problem that several are complaining about (It goes to sleep and wants to be replugged in order to wake it up). There is a repair for that. read other thoughts.I have it paired up with an old razer exactmat manage surface and I have NO tracking troubles, even when lifting the mouse and putting it back down. It responds beautifully. software program could be much better To repair the mouse going to sleep issue, you need to go into power choices and turn off USB suspend mode. The OS seems to put it to sleep randomly, I suspect its a computer software situation but disabling that option has fixed the issue completely. It no longer goes to sleep randomly.

Fits My hand Like it was made around my own hand and molded for it. Has all the fuctions I wanted, with no ones I didn't want. Software was great, and drivers are rock strong steady.Mouse has made my gameplay A lot better, and I had a Razer Copperhead before, so that says alot. It DOES make a difference. Price tag was fair, and is inline with what I would anticipate to spend for a higher excellent gaming device such as this. Higher high quality gold USB Connector and braided sleeving on the USB cabling is yet one more sign of good quality and a good touch. The packaging presentation was professionally completed, and is essentially like a showcase of the device. An additional nice touch. I also liked the included Razer Coasters. I notice things like that. Fantastic on you Razer! It's a Razer Mouse. It is THE highest performing gaming grade mose there is, and for those who want the best, and want an edge Razer is synonomous with that. I currently knew that from a prvious Copperhead get. No. Honestly. I study the reviews, I picked this mouse, and it has accomplished precisely what was promised it would do. It has not given me so considerably as a hiccup. I have study about the liftoff problems, but mine doesn;t do that. I have the newest firmware currently, so possibly that problem was resolved. Seriously, if this mouse had a flaw, I would post it, but I have identified none, and I am a Battlefield Player, and play Battlefield:Bad Business two alot on it, and it is dead nuts precise. If I miss, I can feel i missed mainly because...effectively, due to the fact I missed. When I'm "ON", the mouse does precisely wjhat I inform it. Flick shots (twicth shots) are spot on where I "aim" it, not where I want it to go, but where I "aim" it to go. Yes, I appreciate this mouse, and if I didn't I would have no qualms about getting yet another. I wanted an advantage and I bought one. I could've spent more, but didn;t require to for my utilizes. It has the identical sensor at the greater end mice, but i didn;t will need the extras of those greater end mice, and this does specifically what I wanted. Seriously, if I had been to style my own mouse, this would be it. I like it that substantially. Razer has served me very nicely in the past with the Copperhead I utilized previously, and they have raised the bar but once again, and that is very a feat.

This mouse feels great. I am a finger tip grip user and this is the greatest Razer mouse for it. Wonderful really feel, buttons have a good crisp click, their placement feels very natural. I have employed the Deathadder and the Mamba, and I like this one the very best. None Essentially, if you want a good Razer mouse you have two selections. Deathadder is fantastic for palm grip customers. Imperator is fantastic for finger or claw grip customers. Both excellent mice.

The Mouse was incredibly smooth, and had a good really feel to it. The 5600 dpi was nice, and it is best for gaming. I loved this mouse until it stopped functioning I have owned this mouse for a tiny more than 4 months. In the final month, it has began acting up. Immediately after restarting computer system the pointer would not move. Buttons would all operate, but it wouldn't move. I kept getting it to work once again. But now it has just died all collectively. The very first gaming mouse I owned was a razor copperhead. I owned that mouse for 4 years till the axle for the mouse wheel broke. Almost everything else nevertheless worked fine, and it was the best mouse I ever owned. So I decided to go with Razer once more. On the other hand, I am incredibly dissapointed with this mouse, and I'm really unsure if I will ever get a Razer solution once again.

It was a extremely comfy mouse and I genuinely enjoyed working with it when it worked. Waste of money. Not up to Logitech good quality. Breaks without any hardcore gaming. I decided to get this mouse over the Logitech G9 given that I have had Logitech all my life. And right after this point, I am going back. Stick with what you know. Following about two months (today truly) as I was surfing the world wide web it randomly just stopped working on me. I attempted unplugging it and employing different usb slots and nothing at all... The light on the inside is off and now im back to my original small laptop mouse. I thought Razer was known for their superior hightech gaming mouses and this point broke with no any hardcore gaming.

- Very good contour design, even though it's not like a Logitech G5 mouse it's nevertheless a great style and fits your palm and thumb.- Operates for each palm and claw grip types.- Aesthetically has a good appearance with the lighting and fading in and out logo.- Braided mesh cable design and style.- Capacity to switch from low to higher DPI settings on the fly.- Capacity to adjust positioning of side thumb buttons. - The mouse wheel does not permit a side to side movement, just a regular mouse wheel.- The braided mesh cord is each a pro and a con, even even though it appears somewhat flexible it is nevertheless a bit stiff and offers resistance if you bundle your cords. When it comes in get in touch with with a different object on your desk it affects your mouse movement; which could affect your performance in clicking in the appropriate areas. This could impact graphics/fps aiming/button clicking. ( I will have to try a various cord layout ) to see if I can resolve this devoid of having the mouse cord laying wherever.- The drivers for this mouse and compatibility for Windows 7 suck ƒቱ񳏊) Razer does not have any drivers other than the initial release for this mouse. If plugged in to USB port when Computer boots, Computer will stall on memory testing for 5mins or so just before proceeding. To keep away from this concern I have to unplug the mouse and plug in when at windows login screen for a smooth bootup. The mouse is like any other mouse it functions like it should and gets the job carried out. Other than my technical difficulties theres nonetheless some adjustments that can be made and waiting for Razer to lastly release driver assistance with this mouse and Windows 7 and what ever it is that causes booting up to stall for five minutes or more.I give the mouse five stars, it's drivers I give about a 1.

I do want I had bought a wireless, and I may trade this one particular in for the momba. The USB wire is heavy,so heavy that I can not just let it droop over the desk, if it does it impacts my game. I am positive wireless will be the thing, as gaming grows. I have massive hands, and this mouse maybe a bit also big for me, I don't know. Gaming has only a single way to go, and that is up

Ultra sensitive when I want it to be, ultra fine handle when I don't.Comfy ergonomic match7 buttons that I can customize for somethingSliding side buttons are wonderfulLooks good None that I can feel of I bought this to replace my DeathAdder that I had had for a couple of years now and managed to wear out to where my left-click didn't want to respond half the time. Saw this one for ~ŭ-7 a lot more than the DA and thought I would give it a shot. I'm glad I did. I thought I was spoiled by the DA but this effectively surpasses what I was in a position to do with it. Haven't gotten to do any heavy gaming however, but if the "trial runs" were any indicator, I'll be working with this for awhile to come.

Comfortable shape, light weight, high sensitivity. Straightforward to customize the sensitivity. Adjustable thumb button position is a special and welcome function. Razer lights are often cool. Needs a difficult mousepad to track effectively. Desires a firmware update for the razer logo to glow appropriately. Deathadder may be additional comfy. Make positive you have a rough/stiff mousepad in order to eliminate the tracking problems you may possibly study about. I have to use a claw grip w/ my index & pinky fingers for it to be seriously comfortable (I am coming from a Deathadder, which is comfy no matter how it is gripped). Firmware update is necessary for the logo light, it is incredibly dim by default. I kept losing handle of the pointer when I was updating the drivers and firmware but I was capable to get it completed and now I am really delighted with this mouse. I might go back to the Deathadder even though...

extremely smooth and compared to the old razers like the deathadder or copperhead it has the exact same feel. I like the room for the thumb thats why I upgraded. I do not set up the software package for razer just plug and play. I am a PRO BF Gamer and really like this mouse. I can not actually lift this up in the air to resest and nevertheless have some movement from this mouse. If the mouse comes up over a 1ቬ of a inch it stops functioning. The older razers like the copperhead would nevertheless work up to a half inch but 1ǚ of a inch for confident. I got use to this and there is no delay when lifting off and back down. Try this with the destructor mat by razer very nice.

I've been utilizing this mouse for about 4 months, and the only issue I can say out loud is... "Woah."Prior to I made this a single acquire, I had an additional Razer Mouse when they very first came out and my reaction was pretty a lot the exact same. Not to stray on my thoughts, this mouse often supplied a great grip for me, I've never had a issue with the thumb and even though my pinky was at instances flying out, it under no circumstances genuinely bothered me. Enable me to say although, when you're away or laying in your bed and watching this mouse... I swear it calls you. The brightness going on and off with the razer sign is virtually hypnotizing. Aiming with good precision, I've in no way had any troubles clicking nor reaching for anything I've ever needed regardless of whether it was in my gameplay or in my operate. Cons... Cons... Well, I can feel of some. The main buttons which you use, correct click and left click, have a fantastic feel to it, on the other hand, it's not usually the case for the thumb. Like some other posters have mentionned, you have the feeling that your thumb or the mouse itself will slip mainly because you sweated or what ever. For a even though also, it was at instances going crazy, moving by itself. Now, it may well have been simply because of the music coming out of my speakers being also loud, but following a couple of tests, I located that the mouse was desyncing. Way to repair it? Of course, simply click the icon in the proper tray and it would take a minute atmost to fix it all up again. At times, that was bothering, but strangely adequate, I only had to do that for a although, immediately after a couple of weeks, I never felt or had the want to 'resync' it. The price tag may throw some people off, even so, Razer Never, I repeat, Never ever, deceived me. I've often had a long longevity with their mouses and to best it all, an amazing gaming experience. The cash you place in this mouse, is fully worth the although, if you're searching for something good, it's a should for most gamers. Now, like I mentioned in the Cons, the desyncing Could be an concern for some individuals whom look for perfection, nonetheless, for some other individuals like me, it's just a matter of becoming patient with some softwares. Can't constantly be the tool being wronged, at times it's the handler.

These days... got property from perform and (long troubleshooting story short) it is one hundred% dead (lights, motion, every thing) and even sends gibberish signals to my USB controller which makes it take two-3 minutes just to POST. Windows display the message that it has no concept what I just inserted into it and the Razor software program says "No Razor Goods detected". This is BY FAR the very best mouse I have ever owned. You can go to Youtube and see all the videos of the unboxing and testimonials you want, but the 1 factor that Nobody has ever stated was the DPI settings. I've read individuals stating that they only have three settings for sensitivity, which is weird, due to the fact I have to have gotten a defective mouse. For some odd purpose, I have Five. 1 reviewer stated that his 3 settings are as well slow, still as well slow, and way too fast. My mouse should Really be defective. When I downloaded the drivers, updated the firmware, and got it all adjusted to my liking, i was in a position to choose what five sensitivity settings i wanted, which range involving one hundred DPI (precise sniper rifle movements for that pristine headshot) to 5600 DPI (crazy quickly bouncing and bunny-running). The adjustable buttons on the side are a very nice touch, particularly for my fat hands and short fingers. Slid all the way back, my thumb just rests amongst the buttons. The blue glow on the wheel is KILLE The only thing I locate unnerving about the mouse is the logo on the back of it. You can turn it off in the settings, but if it's on, it "breathes"... pulsating slowly. Confident it's a wicked touch, beckoning you to spot your hand on it and stomp some tail. I just wished there was a button in the configuration to turn it on permanently, so it would match my Lycosa (which is just as amazing). All in all, this mouse is the bee's knees. The very same grippy rubber surface as my Lycosa, adjustable buttons on the side, on-the-fly DPI settings, killer blue glow, and final but not least, the cord is braided. This is just one particular sexy mouse. Even the skates on the bottom are slicker than snot on a doorknob. Can you justify spending eighty bucks on a mouse? I did.
