Cons: - Sleep mode is too aggressive, slow to wake up- Drains batteries like a mofo- Sometimes fails to re-connect via BT, have to power cycle

Pros: - Bluetooth- Looks slick, feels good- 7 buttons- Can connect by cable if needed
Comment:
I am not a gamer, I use this mouse with my Macbook Pro for programming. I use it 8 hours a day for work, and sometimes more at home. I only use Bluetooth and never use the cable. I bought this mouse to replace a Logitech VX Nano which I had for several years. In comparison to the VX Nano, the build quality of this mouse is worse -- it feels cheaper. The matte finish is very nice, but overall the seams etc. are not as nice as the Logitech and have some visible imperfections. But it still feels solid, and looks great. It also feels great in my hand, but I find the side buttons are hard to reach. The battery life sucks. I use brand new Sanyo Enerloop NiMH AA rechargables which I purchased at the same time. They last 7 days max before the mouse completely dies. Once the mouse warns you about low battery, you only have about an hour or so before it becomes unusable due to dropped connections. So be prepared with backup batteries. My VX Nano could run on 2 AAA NiMH rechargables for 2-3 months! The biggest problem with this mouse is the sleep mode. It shuts itself off after just 3-5 minutes of inactivity. And to power it back on you need to click a button (moving it around is not as reliable) and wait 2-3 seconds. This might sound like nothing but it's EXTREMELY annoying. It frustrates me every time I grab the mouse and the pointer does not move and I have to wait a few seconds. I am a patient man but sometimes I want to throw this thing at the wall. I suppose if you are gaming and the mouse is in constant use while you play this isn't a big deal, but if you are doing programming or other normal tasks you will run into this very frequently throughout the day and it will annoy the hell out of you.I am going to keep it despite these problems, because currently there are no other Bluetooth mice on the market that I like (there is a very basic Logitech one with no extra buttons and the Apple Magic Mouse), and I don't want to take up a precious USB port on my MBP. But I would not recommend this mouse. If you can spare the USB port get something else like a Logitech MX Anywhere.
