Cons: Very scratch-able paint jobPoorly madeHeavyuncomfortable

Pros: Nice microphone

I was extremely pissed when one of the ear cuffs came off the headset, and it cant be fixed, the screw is inside the ear muff, and it rattles now. After just two months of using these they fell apart like this. The sound is crap for the 100+ that I paid. I dont think I should be hassled in anyway if I am paying 100+ for a product. Razer is forever banned, and I am not being there shit anymore. If only my 100 dollars could fail on them and give them a bunch of grief. My real rating is 0 out of 5. Never buy this crap, spend your money on something else

I regret purchasing these... my 15 dollar headset from before had better sound quality. Total came out to $67 dollars. I didn't get a retail box for some reason, came in some plastic crap.If NCIX would give me a refund I would take it. But due to hygiene reasons you can't return open headsets.

Cons: No Retail BoxTop part built quality

Pros: Price (59.99)comfort5.1 surroundAppearance
Comment:
Very comfy headset, the 5.1 surround sound is very accurate. Most important of all, its a very comfy headset, you could be playing hours and it wouldn't bother you. It kind of keeps your ears a bit warm but that could just be me because Im sensitive to heat. Overall, very good headset for its price when its on sale!

Cons: Noise cancellingTo many controlsNot worth paying full price

Pros: Great sound qualityFits nicelyWorks fantastic with Razer Sound CardGreat price when on sale
Comment:
I'm using these along with the Razer sound card that does come bundled with it. First things first, never buy these at full price. NCIX always has sales and bundles with the soundcard at a very healthy price reduction. Contrary to what lots of other people have said, I found the build quality to be very sturdy. I don't have any children and I keep everything around my desk very clean and well taken care of. The bass definitely isn't as heavy as it could be, but the directional sound coming in is very crisp and clean. My only complaint is that the head phones are not noise cancelling and don't block out my fiancé whenever she whines to me that I should stop playing gamesThe blue led's look very sharp, the cord is more then long enough and aside from Razers software controls being clunky it's very easy to play with the sound. I do think though that the attached control is a bit over kill and their really is no need for it to include dials to adjust the volume of the front and rear speakers manually.Overall a solid set of headphones for gaming purposes. For music buy something else which will provide more bass.

Good sound, nice blue LED, and looks nice. It doesn't work great with my creative sound card, must only work well with a razer sound card. So I would only buy it if your a razer fanatic and have a razer sound card to go with it.

Cons: Both of them broke from the left side i had to duck tape them.. and the mic for one of my headphones didn't work at all!

Pros: Great sound for gaming.. i bought two of these headphones!
Comment:
They are great for gaming, but if you get these headphones be careful when u take them off.. specially don't drop  them cause they might easily brake from the left side other than that they sound great.! wouldn't buy them again ill try to look for something more durable with equal performance.!

After almost 2 years of buying (then breaking) headsets for my computer , i taught my search was over with the barracuda HP1 until the mic stop working. The wire inside the headset are broke. Unfortunately i bought it on the grey market so no replacement for me. The headset do a very good job in general but i woulnt buy it at full price.

Cons: Cheap and break easily.

Pros: Good sound.
Comment:
Great headphones when they are working. However, the joint on the left ear piece cracked (right above the big ciruclar part) only a week or two after getting them. Didn't bother replacing, but wish I had now as the whole thing is crumbling apart only a few months afterwards. The actual sound is still good, but I imagine this will be hanging off in a few weeks time. Do yourself a favour and buy something else or pick up some duct tape if you still want these headphones.Of note, I bought the combo of these headphones and the Razer soundcard. T he soundcard works perfectly.

Cons: POOR Quality

Pros: Sound was good
Comment:
Good sound not great and very poor quality control and warranty sucks!!!These things are crap quality wise. 3 weeks after I bouhgt them the left earpc broke right off while I was taking them off. I patched it up and 2 months later they broke on the same side and were totally useless. I did not abuse them in any way I was just removung them when they broke..Pretty poor workman ship IMO. I contacted them in regards to the problem and unless you give them fingerprints and a blood sample to prove they are yours forget the one year warrnanty, it's crap!!! So if you do buy these take them off gingerly, get fingerprints and a bloodsample and get ready for a runarround if you want warranty on them..I did not get anything from them..DON'T BUY THESE!!!!

Cons: Music seems to distort (gotta play with the lvls some more) Elastic strap that hold the headphone up on your head (across the top) broke within 1/2 hour of use.

Pros: Amplified head phones powered by usb, Bass vibration, Cool light that can be switched off without turning headphones off.
Comment:
Bought to replace Triton 5.1 headphones that broke. This is my third pair of 5.1 headphones. These have the best bass by far. Might just be the vibrating earpieces fooling me. Nice effect.Microphone works but looks silly. Doesn't extend and is left side only.Music is distorting gotta fiddle with the lvls but in games works good.Top head strap broke right away but was easy enough to fix but should I have to?Like the easy to use volume knob as well. usb power is a great idea too.

Cons: - Price is probably the big weakness- Lots of functions to toggle (Might get carried away with these and end up making it sound like crap)

Pros: - Looks good (coupled with everything razer)- Sounds even better- Lots of functions to toggle- Suede on the ear pieces feel good when they rumble
Comment:
Well for years now I've been using generic stereo headsets ($15-$30) and from my experience the extra cash spent was well worth it. The sound on these babies aren't exactly 5.1 (but really who would have expected 5.1 coming from headsets) however they sound really good, give you a 5.1ish feel. Price is a bit steep by themselves (I bought mine with the sound card included on sale for $150.99) but if your using the above stated headset for gaming, I'd recommend upgrading to these. 4*'s because price

Cons: If your ears are big (like mine), these will be painful after a short while. The cushioning is not very large. (I Agree) and mic is not really good on it.

Pros: Sound quality with Razer soundcard AC-1

Well i think it says it all in the strenghs and weakness. Great headphones, mixed with soundcard but a bit expensive. If your ears are big (like mine), these will be painful after a short while. The cushioning is not very large. (I totaly agree) and the microphone on it is really cheap.

I tried this headset with BF2 and it really sounds great ! You can really feel the surround sound, very useful in FPS. Bass may sounds a little weak but is ok for games. Long cords with 3.5mm jacks or own Razer jack for their soundcard. I recommend these for gamers.

Cons: poor quality wiring, sleving, ear cups, every thing, made in china. mic went from quiet to not working over 4 months

Pros: |TWO STARS| (i don't have my order id) 5.1 speakers, mic is very clear, speakers are ok for music but better for games
Comment:
|TWO STARS| (i don't have my order id)it started out great, good sound quality, mic worked, everything looked a bit on the cheap side but that was fine. after 4 monthes the quiet mic no longer worked (it's actualy quide clear and loud when hooked up to my mic port, poor wiring me thinks.) but everythin was woring fin for a while. latley things havnt been going so well, the right speaker is starting to cut out due to the poor wiring, sound quality has been decresing steadly for quite some time, ear cups are still uncomfortable, the wire sleving is starting to break down, and to top it off the light in the left side stopped working. I would only buy this again if i had finaly burned the one i have now and the razer staff came to my house and presented to me a bronze statue (any), a goat, and sweden. I would sugest this to anybody who likes uncomfortable headphones with quiet mics that only work for 4 months.

Cons: They need to stop breaking.

Pros: Great headphones when they're not broken.
Comment:
My first pair shipped missing a mic. No problem because NCIX replaced for free and handled shipping.About a month later and the screw holding one of the ear pieces came undone. The bolt was lost inside the ear piece. I had to deal with razer and though they replaced them with a new set, I had to pay shipping.I've had my new set for about a month and the same thing just happened... waiting to hear back from RAzer to see what they'll do but I'll be damned if IM paying another $30 shipping.

Cons: Price (paid 129.99)

Pros: ComfortableDurableStylishGreat sound quality
Comment:
I've never owned a quality pair of headphones before, so I have no real basis for comparison outside of a $20 set of Sony's, but I've been very impressed with this pair of headphones. The sound quality for games, music, and movies are all outstanding. I don't have the greatest sound card, but I imagine if I upgraded it would get even better. These headphones fit comfortably and don't feel like they are falling off your head. I forget I have them on, and they don't make your head get sore after a while. A huge upgrade from your average set. Some of the negative reviews for this product claim the bass isn't that great. In my opinion, the bass is perfect! It is not muddy, has a good kick, and isn't overpowering. Too many people increase the bass on their audio devices too much and drown out their music/sound and ruin the quality. These headphones have a great balance of treble and bass right out of the box!The only downside was the price. For $129.99, I expected a little more. However, as of writing this review, they are on sale for $99.99. I highly recommend buying them at this price!Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Cons: Plastic construction, could be more rugged ...certainly not like my Stax SR Lambda...

Pros: Nice pair of headphones, for the price you get excellent quality sound.Very compatible with the "Karajan: sound module on my DFI LanParty MoBo.Controls over the sound volume of , bass, front , rear, center
Comment:
I have read many reviews on these headphones, its basically 50/50..some love them some hate them. I have a theory, it is basically contingent on the "source" of sound. Music, plays very clearly, nicely defined. The so called "bass issue" is present, but again if you "mix the sound right" you get pretty good bass definition. Different games sound out differently, Far Cry, is a superbly crafted soundscape, Oblivion is horrible, thought the sound track is beautiful, the sound mix and the general performance of Oblivion is poor. Battlefield 2, superb. Now of course these headphones cannot be compared to Sennheiser or Stax headphones which are meant for audiophiles. These are exactly what they say they are, headphones for Gamers made by Gamers.Lastly, I would recommend you experiment with the different sound configurations available through Windows, i.e. Surround 5.1 and 7.1 settings. My MoBo is the LanParty using the Karajan sound module, the results are superb. So the sound, is I repeat contingent upon "how" you set up the soundscape.I suspect that the Barracuda soundcard is what they did all their testing on , which would probably give the best and optimal performance..I might consider this at a later date.Still, nevertheless very compatible.Oh , I almost forgot, after 6 hrs of constant listening, my ears did not "tire" of the sound...this is ultimately very important, unlike my Sure earplug type, which are very clear but too bright. So if you are into spending a modest sum of money and doing a little experimenting, you will not be disappointed.

I buy those for Ip voice but I could not use the microphone I shout in the micro and only heared a little noise with mic input at max. The soudn Is VERY clear it is a must for gamer. U can set the sound of each channel separately with the little module that come with it. HAve to be pluged in usb to have razer logo lighting up on left and right side. You can also use the Razer soud card connector but I already had a sound blaster x-fi platinum. 4 jack to plug into Very easy installation.

Great for gaming as well as music. Of course this is my first headset I have ever bought so I can't really compare it to another kind. I personally find them comfortable and have great sound quality as well as the added mic makes it a complete headset.
