Cons: quite a bit of bloatware but nothing that can't be fixed by a fresh install of Windows

Pros: visually appealing, good specs for the price
Comment:
-good performance to price ratio-very nice looking laptop, lightweightI work for an IT department for a University. I've been using this for a week now, carrying this all around campus, to meetings, and to support users. I have no complaints so far (aside from it having a lot of bloatware! I recommend doing a fresh install of Windows 8.1!I would recommend this notebook for office and school use. Good enough for multitasking!

Cons: Windows 8, Screen is not the brightest, and it would be nice to get a larger screen that isn't touch

Pros: PRICE!!! Size, build quality, functionality
Comment:
Got tired of lugging around a gaming laptop so downsized to this. Excellent at 2.5lbs and very thin. The build quality is exceptional, especially for a laptop in this price range. The brushed aluminum finish gives it a really great look. It would be nice if they continued it on the bottom, but it has some soft touch rubber instead. First thing I did was remove the HD and put in a SSD, which drastically improved bootup speeds. Initially you can really tell it has a 5400 HD as it takes a while to book. Replaced Windows 8 with Windows 7, which wasn't too hard. Windows 8 drivers will work for Windows 7, so it wasn't too painful. Functions pretty fast, can run Adobe graphic suite without any problems. The touchpad seemed to work better when it had no drivers installed. Even with most of the gestures disabled it can still be a little troublesome. One thing I noticed is that if you have your finger on the left button and are trying to move the mouse around, sometimes it will read both fingers, causing the mouse not to move. If you need a everyday laptop that you're going to lug around and just do basic graphic editing or search the internet than this is all you need. I did notice that you get around 3.5hrs off the batter which isn't bad for a two cell non-removable battery. Definitely would recommend.
