Cons: The only issue i've had with this board is the limited fan connectors which can be easily solves by a fan controller.

Pros: -High quality components-UFEI Bios-Well thought out temperature system-Easy to OC, my 2600k got 4.4ghz stable from just auto(manually pushed it to 4.6)-Well laid out expansion slots allowing for sound cards, network cards to be installed even with SLI/Crossfire-runs fairly cool-Armour looks cool-Intel controllers
Comment:
I really don't have too much to say about this board, if you don't plan on going passed dual SLI, this card can offer you every thing you need and allow expansion for more. While I found the thermal to be a little silly it does add a nice aesthetic and can be a little annoying at times when installing some cards in the expansions slots(not hard though).

Cons: Price. It's a bit more expensive than other comparable motherboards.P67. There is no z68 version of this.

Pros: uEFI bios is very niceLooks very nice (in my opinion)motherboard layout is good
Comment:
The new graphical bios is nice, you can use the mouse now and it is easy to use even for a new user. The thermal shield did block the installation of a fan controller on the very first PCI slot of the case (there is no pci slot on the motherboard that corresponds to the first PCI slot of the case). However, with some filing, I was able to get my fan controller to fit. It was only a few millimeters of a screw that I had to file off. It was pushing against the protruding cover of the I/O area.

Cons: doesnt include usb 3.0 headerwhen running in sli or crossfire, both pci 16x ports run at 8x

Pros: Looks amazingGeat build qualitySupports 1866mhz ram
Comment:
Great motherboard, easy to install and includes everything needed besides a usb 3.0 header. Installed in 5 minutes and looks amazing in your case especially if you are in to the sleek or military look.

Cons: Problem with fan connectorOverclock is weird with this mobo

Pros: Awesome looking biosVery good looking moboGood temps
Comment:
Very good motherboard but i just have to say 2 thing about this one. One thing is my fan connector on the motherboard are not made correctly...it dont fit perfectly so the plastic broke a little bit...and this is on every connector :(. Second thing is the overclock, i overclocked my cpu and tested on prime95. Everything was ok for 2 week but one day, the computer reboot on the start and say: Overclock failed. Thats weird, it came 2 week after my test and everything lol...

Cons: Not really a con, but the thermal armour is a bit gimmicky

Pros: High-quality partsSolid BIOS and supporting software
Comment:
If you're looking for a bomb-proof motherboard with lots of control, look no further. Confidence inspiring stability. Don't let the thermal armour gimmick throw you off - the TUF components are worth their weight in gold. Remove the shroud and just make sure you have decent airflow in your case.

Cons: Sleep mode *NOT* workingSoftware

Pros: 5 years warrantyGood Temp monitorLooks awesome
Comment:
This board is a champ. It is solid and everything works fine... except that this beast cannot sleep :(I have the latest Bios version (1801) and still cannot put my pc in sleep/hibertnate mode because it just won't wake up. I heard it is an issue on this board. If it can helps, here's my setup:- Intel Core i7 2006k- Asus Sabertooth P67 (Rev3)- Corsair DDR3 1600MHz CL8- Sapphire 5870 vapor-xI tried to mess around for hours in the bios to fix the issue, without success. So beware, the beast never sleeps (;On a side note: The temp monitor is nice, but the A.I. Suite is a real ** mess to use. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! Seriously, you have to try it to understand the pain.Overall, this board will be perfect when the sleep mode issue get fixed. Until then, it is just annoying. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-27-11 05:56 PM

One of the best looking board I owned in my life. Some may not like the "plastic" look but I prefer to see the heat shield over the electronic pieces.

Haven't had any problems to note, though the mobo is pretty pricey. Normal mobos definitely run cooler though.

Cons: -No 50mm Fan is a huge fail here, would add virtually no cost to board-No 50mm Fan available from NCIX at the moment-Not the best colors on the board * they should have kept it all black.

Pros: -Looks amazing-Thermal armor does actually work-Great Bios-The package comes with lots of stuff
Comment:
So far so good with this board, looses a star for not including the 50mm fan.

This is my first ASUS Motherboard as I've always owned EVGA Mobo's, and so far I couldn't be happier. There's a few features that come with the board that you'll check out, and maybe never touch again, but never the less, it is feature packed for those who want to do a little fine tuning to thier systems. I'm really happy with the board, and the price range was right.

Cons: Would be nice if it was dual 16x PCIE

Pros: Good quality construction
Comment:
Using this board with a 2600K, 8Gb of Corsair ram and a 6950, and it is a significant upgrade to my previous setup. The thermal radar program is interesting, mainly because it monitors more thermocouples than I thought existed on the board. Bios is well laid out, overclocking is easy but I have yet to really push it to find the limit.

Cons: pci express slots runs x8 in sli and crossfire configuration, for the price, it really should have full x16 bus width.

Pros: -good looking.-good bio layout.-trusted manufacturer.
Comment:
got this mobo for my new sandy bridge build, i7 2600k and 2 radeon 6870 in crossfire. performance wise i would say above avg, but the price for its features are much too high, i expected full x16 pcie bus width, but was disappointed.overall, good looking board, would recommend for enthusiasts, not for extreme gamers as you can probably get a mobo with full x16 bus width for a similar price.

Cons: - PCI-E only 8x in dual GPU mode- Cost- Gimmicky heat shielding

Pros: - Cool design- Graphical BIOS is awesome- Good OC on this board- Both SLI and Crossfire Support- Auto System diagnostics
Comment:
This board is cool, in the sense that it is good at OC'ing, has the new graphical interface BIOS and that it works with both ATI/Nvidia dual GPU setups. The thing that bothers me though the most is the cost. The cost is high, and you don't get full 16x PCI-E slots. As this may not bother most, it will bother those who spend quite a bit for their system, and not get full capabilities (I purchased an older AMD Motherboard for cheaper, that had 2xPCI-E 16 slots that work in x16 when occupied). The other thing is, the shielding. As much as it makes the board nice to the eye, it really didn't bring much or anything to the table, other than asthetics (and probably help drive the cost up). Mostly just an enthusiast board, but has some features I can get out of cheaper boards.

Cons: Overclocking is a bit confusing if you do not know what you are doingMy first sabertooth died within a day

Pros: Overclocks wellVery coolLooks good
Comment:
I received the motherboard and got my build set up on a friday night, I had all friday to play around with it and most of saturday. The motherboard then stopped recognizing anything in my pci/pci-e slots, so I thought my video card died, but then my sound card disappeared, etc. I have it rma'd and so far everything is working well. The board can overclock like crazy if you know what you are doing. I find that some of the "auto" feature pretty bad, so I like to set my own.

So far I have no problem with this board. It is working great with my 2600k i7, 16GB Mushkin ram & GigaByte 6970.However i do find it get really hot after playing a game at the USB3.0-2 and PCIE-1 the Thermal radar software would turn red. Mind you I'm running low on my case fan so that could be why.

Cons: Not as good as previous sabertooth

Pros: Looks (the thermal armor) - great with windowed case

Previous Sabertooth (X58) one was an enthusiast level board, but this one is not. Double booting issue is gone with the new BIOS, but overclocking capability seems to be worse...

Cons: - None- It would have been nice to have the fan and front USB3 cable but they typically are not used

Pros: - ASUS Quality- Good looks- Plenty of features
Comment:
This ASUS motherboard plus a Core i7 2600K and 8GB of Mushkin Redline were purchased to replace my aging Q6600 system. Needless to say, it is substantially faster. The packaging is very nice and heavy duty, and a step above the good boxes that ASUS normally uses. The board comes with plenty of accessories (disregard what others say about this), including:- numerous manuals and information guides- driver DVD (although I downloaded the latest from ASUS website)- case sticker- shield- 2 quick-connect headers- SLI connector- 4 SATA cables (2x3G 2x6G)- 50mm fan screwsI like the thermal cage, it keeps the look more sleek and less crowded than with all of the regular components showing. The thermal cage has no issues with board temperatures, and I am using a Noctua NH-U12P non-downward-airflow CPU cooler, so there is no airflow directed at the board, but it still runs just as cool as usual. I ordered a 50mm fan just to have it.The layout of the connectors is good. The 90 degree SATA connectors are perfect since the video card typically covers those over.I really like the new EFI graphical BIOS. It is much better than the old text-based ones. The BIOS auto-overclocking worked really well and set up my system to run at a fast 4.8GHz with full stability.Windows 7 performs well on this system, with absolutely no issues, no driver problems, no hickups. The computer system is running an i7 2600K, 8GB 1600 DDR3, Windows 7-64 HP and an ATI HD6870, which seriously outperforms the components it replaced: a Q6600 OC'ed 3GHz, 8GB 1066 DDR3, an NVidia "the furnace-ator" 275, and Vista-64 HP.

Cons: Lack of 50mm Fan with product. Should have been included!Drivers seem flaky in Windows 7

Pros: Cool design, easy to use BIOS.
Comment:
Great board, but ASUS skimped on the accessories. I've purchased ASUS MB's in the past and they had all you needed.Should have included the Fan, perhaps a few more Sata cables also.Otherwise, good product.

This is my first Asus board I ever purchased since I was always buying Gigabyte. I bought this since the others are not availavle and I wanted to play with the new cpu. The black plate is nice so I dont knock a capacitor off or accidently touch it with my magnetic screw driver. I got a nice 4.5ghz oc with no voltage change and I was able to change my ram speed from 1333 to 1600 with no problem. My setup is fully updated now except for my case which is still an Antec 300...
