It performs when connected. The end connectors are very tall, and thus will not work in some situations. I believed the whole point of right-angle connectors was to match into cramped places. Please see other thoughts. I bought this cable because my video card covered up offered SATA ports, and I necessary a correct-angle end to match into the tight spot. However, these connectors are taller than regular SATA connectors, and will not fit. I want it was clear in the description that these were not shallow proper-angle connectors. I suppose it would be fine if you're tyring to stack SATA connections.

Length is substantially greater than most sata cable that are included with most drives these days. Appropriate angles make cable mgmt a lot less complicated. Not sure why men and women are complaining about the size of the correct angles they worked ideal for me in my Rosewill Wise One case!

Typical suitable angle SATA cables. Do not have integrated locking clips like some standard SATA cables. Received two unique forms of suitable angle connectors. A single set has a a lot shorter connector than the other people. The shorter angle set was nice for tight areas, but is a lot harder to get hold of when you need to disconnect from the board or drive.

The cable appears to be working fine. Both ends have a proper angle. One particular is fantastic for HDs or ODs, but why would you want proper angle connections on your MB? I found this annoying and overlapping components of my MB.

It's a sata cable; does what it's supposed to do and the correct angle connectors were useful to me in order to maintain it out of the way of other Computer elements. None. Grab one of these if you're getting an OEM really hard drive.

None The stem of the connector (the element of the "L" that sticks into the really hard drive) is a lot longer than in the image. This defeats the purpose of an appropriate-angle (or L-angle) connector SATA cable. If the image had accurately shown how lengthy the stem was, I would have gotten a diverse cable. My case's HD bay is rotated 90 degrees so that the connectors face toward the left side-panel. This means that the SATA and power cables have a tight match, and usually must be bent sharply so that I replace the left case panel. I looked into a SATA cable with a proper-angle connector (Left / Correct angle) to alleviate this challenge. Unfortunately, the Nippon Labs cable was not designed with this purpose in thoughts since I can't even close my case cover with this cable, and had to resort to making use of my old, bent cable.

umm... at least it works This solution is various from the photo. I necessary low profile proper angle cable to clear my graphics card. What I got is higher profile 90º angle but in the wrong path too, so the cable runs towards the PCI-E slot intead of away. The 1 egg is for the solution not Newegg service. When I contacted Customer service they took care of the dilemma appropriate away. Not confident if they have sorted out the dilemma however

One particular of the handful of reverse L-connector proper-angle SATA cables I could locate, which I needed for my unique motherboard configuration. The photo shown for this item is incorrect. It shows a low profile (.5") appropriate-angle reverse L-connector, but the a single that is sent is a regular profile Ƒ") right-angle reverse L-connector. If your graphics cards overlap your SATA ports you still won't be able to fit these underneath them. They are the same height as a typical angle connector. Newegg was good about refunding the total cost/ shipping of the cables, with no obtaining to return them, but I'm still at a lost as to where to locate the appropriate SATA cables.

Cable is a right angle cable on each ends, Performs effectively for side mounted hard drives in a tight space that a normal SATA Cable may possibly endure harm in. The size of the connector is not accurately described. Not great for motherboard connectors that are below expansion cards or other such circumstances. The total length of the connector end is roughly 1 inch. Employing this cable to install a sideways mounted tough drive, It works flawlessly, The correct angle connector makes it so you can only install the cable in the lowest SATA slot on your motherboard/SATA Card, If they are arranged in a certian configuration. Great low cost cable, 4Ǜ only because its description is incomplete/inaccurate.

It's a proper angle cable The stems on each and every end are specifically 1 inch long (I measured with a ruler), which is longer than any of the other SATA cables that I own. Also, the stems face the opposite direction from what they should, so the finish connecting to your drive have to point upwards in your case, which then winds up taking up more space than a straight cable. There are other, less expensive SATA cables on newegg. Acquire 1 of those and you'll be happier.

Cost-free shipping Suitable angle connector is upside down, i.e., cable will go UP vertically when attached to a HD or CD drive and NOT down like you would expect it to and like all the other suppliers cables. You have to loop the cable from above to eventually connect it to the MB.

It does not smell like garbage. Surprise its garbage! Not low profile, a single of the cables doesn't seem to perform and incorrect angle (last 1's my fault). The other cable functions (sort of) in my set up, but I will finish up purchasing another set from a distinct manufacturer!

Reversed suitable angle sata cable, if thats what you will need. The good low profile cable pictured isn’t the one particular that you will obtain. You will get a cable that is proper angled but in no way is it low profile (about an inch higher). If you need to access your sata ports under your video card this in not the 1 you want. Don’t trust this photo. I wanted to leave 1 egg, but I talked to Newegg about this and without having any challenge they had me pick an additional cable that may suit my needs. They aren’t even asking for this a single to be returned, their just sending me a different one particular for absolutely free. So I’ve picked an OKGEAR cable that hopefully resembles its picture. I even called Nippon labs about this and they have been unaware of any low profile cable. Again, Newegg gains big kudos, you can’t ask for or almost certainly even come across this excellent of consumer support! Newegg is the ideal retailer I have ever dealt with! Thank you! five eggs for Newegg

cost-free shipping,so it was more affordable than a inexpensive cable + shipping The correct angle connectors are way way longer than in the pic also they go the incorrect way for 97% of drive setups. Will not match in a Dell E521. Other cable makers call this type of connector a left angle connector. Now i have to order some thing els. Dell E521 desires a low profile correct angle cable to be able to close the case, witch most of the cables that came with the case are produced by Foxconn their name is all over in it. Immediately after XP bit the dust created it into a hackintosh.

It is a ideal angle cable The photo does not come close to accurately depicting the cable that i received. The cable that I received had a drastically longer depth soon after the appropriate angle. The total depth of the connector is 1" and it is threeǚ" from the connector to the angle. It DOES not match beneath a large video card. I have a P5E-VM HDMI board with a GTX 285 and base upon the image it would be the appropriate sort of cable...nevertheless after it arrived i knew it was way also deep. I want the specs would indicate the rise to the angle. In order for it to match it would need to have a total length of 1ǘ" w/ 1ǚ" from the connector to the angle... Don't acquire this cable if you need a low profile angle.

It is proper angle, but that is where the pros finish. It is NOT low profile as shown in the photo. It will not operate in my application. The ones I received look precisely like "Link Depot 18" SATA II Cable with two Correct Angle Connectors Model SATA-18-RR". The low rating is based on the physical profile and not electrical performance.

Operates Significantly taller than the one particular I purchased previously. As other folks have said, this cable has substantially taller connectors than it must. I purchased the very same precise solution about two months earlier and it was half as tall as the a single I received the other day. Would have been a huge problem for me with video card clearance, but luckily I had the shorter a single to stick into sata port 3ǚ and place the taller 1 on the reduced sata port.Don't know why they would alter the solution like that...
