Cable was a ideal match and operates just like it need to. I necessary the 90* plug to clear the case and the snaps hold the cable ends firmly. none Ordered cable with hard drive to offset shipping expense.

The L shape, or 90 degree, plug on 1 end is just what I needed for my transverse-mounted tough drive. Otherwise, the case cover can not be closed; in other words, a straight connector sticks out too far for the tough drive connection. The retainer clip on the L shaped end is also a nice feature. None. If you want a cable with an L shape, i.e. right angle, plug on one particular end, appear cautiously at the difference involving brands. They are not all the same; some stick out further, even though they are right angled. The proper angle plug on the BYTECC cable is modest and effortlessly fits in the space in my case among tough drive and case cover.

These are possibly the lowest height cables accessible on this internet site. None, they fit the rediculously tight area that I needed them to. Why on earth a motherboard corporation styles a board with the sata ports literally behind the PCI-Express slot is beyond me, needless to say straight connections wouldn't have a chance in fitting, and these were 1mm from the board soon after installation... an individual at biostar has brain harm.

plug it in and operates, unpluged it 4 times although moving cables for superior air flow in old emachine case. locking latch operates and will release with out snapping off parts from motherboard or harddrive. shipping is a tough sell, unless you order other components to help with the price. Not the cables fault Necessary appropriate angle sata and power plug for emachine harddrive cage. Can not use a straight plug and close case side panel.Emachine situations are heavy, ugly, and make a good sleeper case. NOTE: generally add a fantastic case fan. At a Lan party no 1 expects power out of an old e-machine.

I have by no means used a SATA cable with a locking clip before. They actually do hold onto the drives superior. Perhaps they could design a locking clip for the motherboard side? If you're trying to decided among this cable and another, you should just go with this one.

90 degree plug for the drives and they have latches to preserve them from falling off. Figured 18" would be adequate to route the SATA cables stealthily in my new case. Sadly it wasn't. I ought to have went with some 24" cables. But they function and that's all that actually matters. And that may not be a problem for every person. So I'm nonetheless giving them fourǛ eggs.

It works and seats securely. The excellent length and it has a 90 degree and a straight connector. The cable is incredibly stiff and does not have a spring steel retainer clip on the straight connector. It does have on on the 90 degree end though.

90 bend is best for my sideways mounted drives in my Tt Element G, just before I had regular cables tweaked pretty bad hitting the side of the case. Also the length is great for a mid tower case. I did have to pay for them, and they aren't precisely the most flexible items out there, but possibly that really should be a pro as they feel quite sturdy. If I ever need to have a lot more 90 deg SATA wires, they will be these ones.
