I was curious to see how fast that data would transfer and I was amazed to transfer 1.5 tb's so fast. It is great as a hard drive reader as well. |

I was also a little skeptical being a no name and the price almost seemed to good to be true. But I picked one up and im very happy that I did.But like some of the others say it is on the slower side. But does the trick like a charm. Saves me a lot of time well working on peoples systems. |

I was a little skeptical when I first ordered it,but boy was I in for a surprise not only does it work as advertized, it is also fatser then a much more expensive HD duplicator that I have been using. I even found that it would duplicate to HDs that erreo out on my other duplicator |

Might not be lightning fast but I love the fact that I can actually duplicate a hard drive and then use this unit as a network storage device with two different back up options. |

As with the other reviews - it could be faster. States 72MB per sec when duplicating but I was only getting between 20-28MB per sec (Seagate Momentus 7200 to same). The status indicator is very useful (10% increments.) One thing to note is that to switch modes from Dock (the default) to Duplicator, you have to press and hold the mode button down for a few seconds until the light changes to red. The documentation says to press the mode button then turn the power on which didn't work for me, and I thought I had a bad unit at first. I did NOT evaluate this as a dock, just as a duplicator, but it will pay for itself in a few dups, and it doesn't require a PC with a ton of free space for a software image. |

I was looking for a solution at the company I work for to duplicate Hard drives for servers and workstations. I was very close to purchasing a software solution for approximately $50 per workstation. I then ran across this Hard drive duplicator. I use this on my computer as a RAID 0 Mirrored back drive. I then duplicate hard drives on the weekend for additional workstations and server backup (disaster recovery and fail over). The amount of time this would take with software would be much longer than with this device. I would recommend this product to any computer technician. The only con is that is could be a little faster on copying a drive. |

If you have to image a lot of hard drives this baby will save you time. I have been able to image 6 computers in the time it use to take me to image 1 pulling from the network and then waiting for updates... It comes with three different power connectors, handy for those who travel. Down Side: I was not able to duplicate encrypted drives, and it could be a little faster. |
Flawlessly copied my (2) 1.5TB drives right out of the box! While waiting for that next big copy job, it serves as a great dual drive Network Storage Device. Does everything as expected and more. It's a really great value to top it off!
