This product is great. For this price, you get 12 outlets and 8 of them are swiveled. You can actually use all 12 if you wanted to, and not like the power strips where if you have one of those huge adapters, it takes up 2 spots. I didnt know what this X3 MOV thingy that came with it, but i looked it up, and im glad it comes with it. Extra technology but without the extra price? What a great deal this surge is! On top of all the protection you get for the power, it also protects your coax cables, phone and fax lines too!! Great buy considering the technology vs price. Its worth every penny, and more! I highly recommend this product.

So I came across this surge when I was going to buy the Belkin surgemaster 12. Until I click on the wrong surge and it took me to this page. Then I was going back and forth because both units were looked basically the same. So I bought both. The Belkin cost $29.99 and the opti-ups surge cost $19.99. So I did a tested it by plugging both in a alienware area 51 pc. The Belkin unit had a spark so I quickly pulled it off. After that I had to go through the horrible customer service for a RMA, never buying Belkin again. But on the other hand the opti-ups surge worked perfectly. I bet it is because of the built quality and because it features the x3 mov.

great surge protector for the price. Many different plugs to use and some of them even swivel to the side so you can easily fit power bricks that would normally block other plugs.Also has protection for RG6 and other things.Great buy!
