Cons: Massive, heavy, probably won't fit on your motherboard if you have "roller-coaster" type chipset cooling (or any motherboards that use tall chipset heatsinks), may cover up some memory slots and possibly an expansion slot.

Pros: Cools well, simple and quick installation (at least on AMD), very quiet, short.
Comment:
I guess the 140 mm fan should've been a dead give-away as to how large this HSF is, but looking at the pictures, it didn't really come off as huge. It's not tall, but it takes up a lot of horizontal space; so much so that it covers up 2 memory slots and the PCI-E 1x slot on my motherboard.Installation was extremely easy on the Gigabyte 785G board I used. It was on and secured in less than 3 minutes from opening the package (and I've never installed this one before). Really, really straight-forward and easy. It doesn't look like it would be a lot of fun for an Intel board, though, especially given the weight. My system runs in the 30s even under load using a Phenom X4 810 in a mATX case w/ a 120 mm intake fan and no exhaust fans outside of the PSU. Very, very quiet as well.5/5 for AMD boards w/ low-profile chipset heatsinks.

Cons: Absolutely huge and may not fix all cases/motherboards. Also very heavy and should really be shipped with a bolt-thru kit in the box as standard.

Pros: Extremely quiet, excellent cooling ability.
Comment:
This is an extremely quiet, if somewhat pricey cooler. It has excellent cooling ability - my 3Ghz Core2Duo CPU is less than 10 degrees Celsius above ambient temperature and I can't hear it from under my desk. The cooler is very heavy so I purchased a "Scythe SCCSI-775 CPU Cooler Stabilizer 775 BOLT-THRU Kit for LGA775 Push Pin Heatsinks" which securely holds the CPU in place.
