I dropped my laptop with the headphones plugged in, which busted the headphone jack on my Inspiron 8200. I necessary a replacement, and this was the great device for the job.Genuinely plug and play, even in my picky i8200. Simple and headache-absolutely free, 4 months into utilizing it. Some people say it blocks nearby USB ports, which could be an challenge for some. Given that I'm plugging it into a PCMCIA card, I stay away from blocking the laptop's internal USB ports. So for my personal Cons, I'll put: None |

1. had a dell laptop that an enduser wanted loaded with server 2003. (He bought the server license so I was glad to install it). Even so, the dell he installed it onto did not have server 2003 drivers for a dell soundcard.Installed this small ů.99 soundcard and viola; audio on a dell laptop that was operating server 2003.Did not even have to install a separate driver.two. EVGA socket 1366 mobo - migrated from Vista to win 7. No sound.Installed 1 of these usb card cards and viola! Sound was back.Once again, no separate driver was installed in order to get sound. Not truly a "CON".But I only bought eight of them on my initial order.Once absolutely everyone who had laptop audio difficulties discovered I had these, there was a run on them.At least the endusers are delighted.I have to fill out additional paperwork to order another eight units.Perhaps I'll just order ten, to be secure. Finally, a low-cost solution that operates regularly, across many OS's and many hardware configurations. If the computer has a usb port, then this tiny usb soundcard will bring audio to the program. |

Functions as expected. No challenges.Has a quite handy LED to support show when activity is taking location. Probably the shape of it could be greater so not to obstruct adjacent ports. |

I originally ordered it since my headphones weren't operating with my laptop soon after upgrading it to windows 7. I gave up attempting to uncover the problem and just bought this. Just plugged it in and solved anything. Not as large as I originally believed it was. Props to newegg for delivering it inside a day. Actually loud sound when I initial place it in. -1 Egg. I fixed the loud audio sound by adjusting it on the audio manager on windows itself. Fast and uncomplicated! |

Operates! It's a quite easy device. None for me. I wanted to use my Computer gaming headset with my PS3. So I'm working with this to interface the headset mic for which it works completely. Just plug the adapter into an empty USB port on the PS3, plug in the mic, adjust the settings, and bingo, clear, loud, feedback cost-free mic. I haven't attempted the headphone port so can't inform you how that functions. |

Works as advertised. Plugged into the Logitech Alto stand (currently my docking station) and plugged into it my two.1 speakers. Operates and sounds wonderful (no audible loss of top quality from direct jack).Cost is also wonderful when compared to similar products on this and other internet sites (from ฟ - ฤ). Shipping is high priced for a thing so tiny and light, that is just how it goes though. |

Operates excellent, clear sound (static absolutely free), plug and play so no computer software is necessary. The device itself feels rather sturdy made of heavy plastic. Volume is very loud, but quickly fixed by turning down technique sound (to just a few ticks above mute), so I'll give it four eggs rather of 5. I never attempted the microphone adapter... my review is based only on audio output. |

Affordable, operates effectively! I use this on my laptop so I do not have an audio cable sticking out the side. I wanted to use this on my laptops rear USB port and it does the job perfectly. None. If you use a small USB extention, you can get the device, and audio cable way back out of the way. |

Affordable, functions good out of the box with the regular USB audio profile for input and output. Good obtain, low noise on both connectors. Performs and captures amazing audio with line level inputs, but I got unusably faint input signals with an unamplified logitech microphone headset. If you use it for line inputs and powered speaker outputs like me, you'll be delighted. I'm ordering additional. |

This device functions great. It provides immediate audio sound through my head phones devoid of fumbling with the awkward audio controls delivered with my X48 motherboard. It is loud and clear; make certain you have a volume handle on your headphones or speakers. I can essentially fully grasp what other gamers are saying in-game, and they can hear me loud and clear as well. I liked it so much I purchased yet another a single for my other personal computer. When the device is plugged in to the USB port no sound comes via my speakers-unplug it and sound returns to the speakers. Good for gaming in the middle of the night devoid of waking my wife and kids. None Functions with XP and Vista Ult.64, X38 and X48 MB from Asus, |

Great plug and play below Mac OS X (OSx86). No messing with drivers. Performs excellent below 10.five.8. A tiny thick to be plugged directly into a technique, as it can block other thick USB cords as nicely. Even although it is plugged into 1 port, it virtually takes up two (or a lot more) simply because of its bulk. Perhaps they could kick the value up a dollar and incorporate a quick USB extension for these who have a lot of issues plugged in and can\'t squeeze this in. (I also want I could discover some adapter so I could connect the front sound ports of my case to this.) |

I bought this for use as a microphone/headset interface for Contemporary Warfare 2 on my 80GB PS3. Works completely. All I had to do was go into the audio settings and select it as the input audio device. My pals tell me that they can hear/understand me just fine. I truly use the headphone jack from my audio receiver for the headphone portion, so I can't speak to the good quality of the output audio for this device. None I feel that everybody really should use 1 of these, (or a USB headset) because I hate that echoing that happens when individuals mic chat with no headphones. |

Works Takes up a USB slot? I was making use of a Logitech speaker process with some Skull Candy ear buds, and they shocked by ear and the mobo, killing the audio jack's capacity to play the proper speaker... I don't know no matter whether to blame the mobo, the speakers, or the earbuds, but this fixed it. |

Plugged it in to the laptop, it was right away recognized and the sound was setup and enabled automatically. None to report I purchased this due to the fact the internal sound on a Sony Vaio laptop was not functioning. It was a 2005 model and I wasn't ready to devote lots of time and cash to have it repaired. The adapter was a low cost substitute that operates great. |

No discernible distinction among becoming plugged into the adapter or it's suitable analog ports. I wish one thing this smaller would have totally free shipping. Other than that. But I have no cons whatsoever with the adapter. Not as chunky as others make it out to be. I'm still in a position to plug in other USB devices alongside this adapter.Other folks might find the green LED to be annoying if their Pc is sitting on their desk. |

i broke my laptop's built in headphone jack by tripping over the wire twice (I really use it to feed a stereo system by my backyard shed although I'm working in the yard for music). Started trying to fix my built in - made additional of a mess than I'd like to mention. Didn't know such a easy resolution was offered. Functions as well as - if not better than the built in. Also bought the 7.1 by the very same mfr but no require to open it. Keeping it as a spare. Wonderful cost. Worked instantly! Extremely satisfied with it. None None |

I have an old laptop or computer with dead onboard sound. I plugged this tiny thing into a usb port in the back, Windows XP recognized it, and I have sound when once again! If you also have an old machine that's onboard sound is dead, and you want your sound back, pick this up it will resolve the dilemma. The only Con I can come up with is shipping cost.Shipping on this item alone is practically the price tag of the item.I solved this dilemma by adding a few things with free of charge shipping to my cart so the shipping charge didn't hurt so significantly ;) Note, I wasn't hunting for high quality sound. The laptop or computer I installed this on is a basic workstation that we browse the internet and verify e-mail on.I have to say that this thing appears louder than the onboard sound was, then again that may well be mainly because the onboard sound was dieing. |

I plugged this into a USB port on my Windows 7 Qualified 64-bit tower system and it was recognized and drivers installed with no troubles. It shows up as an additional sound device and was recognized by Skype. None. When making use of my headset by means of the constructed-in microphone port on my Asus P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard, I get a lot of noise and static from the program on the line. I don't know if this is a weakness of my headset or the audio hardware in my technique. Either way, this USB adapter gets about the issue and gives me clean, crisp audio from my headset microphone when working with Skype. |

I have a plantronx headphone set with boom mic and wanted this so i could play at night and not wake up my two year old a review right here stated it worked. I wanted to have the game sounds come thru the headphones and use the mic to talk. even so i have but been in a position to have the game sound play thru the headphones. and with shipping to hawaii equaling 2x the price of the item i really feel repped off.I am Really saddened I bought this becaues one particular of the feedbacks stated is worked fine and no challenge seting it up. |

Functions, didn't need to have any drivers (on winXP) I was hoping to be capable to use my built in sound card and this a single simultaneously... when I plugged it in, the other card stopped placing out sound... there likely is a way to perform around it but it wasn't actually a concern. I bought this as a kit item to have on hand if I need to have it in the future. No concept on durability... haven't use it for additional than a handful of minutes. |

Works completely if you don't want to or cant use the front audio ports on your laptop. Sound excellent, as far as I can tell, is not degraded at all. none
