Coming from SanDisk, this card ought to be a excellent solution. The low value for this significantly storage in a CompactFlash card is unbelievable. Overall performance while it worked was very good and met the advertised spec practically all of the time. If you plan to use this card as a boot device for a computer, you may be heading for trouble. Most CompactFlash cards in CF to IDE adapters will happily allow you to connect yet another IDE device as a slave on the similar cable. This SanDisk card does not allow that, which can be a dilemma if you need to attach an optical drive to the only PATA channel in a system.It's not feasible to modify the operating mode of this card if you want to do so. SanDisk does at least acknowledge that CF cards have unique operating modes, but they state that they will not supply a utility to modify the mode of their cards. This is anything to believe about if you have an older or finicky IDE controller that you strategy to use this card with. Regrettably, this card failed even though I was operating with it, so I've got to see about getting it replaced with an additional. As I have several SanDisk items that work quite effectively and have confirmed to be superb worth for the dollars, I would get in touch with this an unfortunate fluke and not a prevalent dilemma. |

Each cards formatted without troubles, descent speed on writing images to the card, it least for my Canon Digital Rebel Ƒst generation). Brought two plus 1 gig card I already had, now have 5 gigs space to take photographs with. None |

I bought this to use in a Fostex digital multitrack recorder to replace the quite small and generic factory CF card. Quickly access instances and reliability highlight this item. I envision it would execute just as beautifully in my Canon Rebel. The price was extremely uncomplicated to digest too. None. Received it speedily. Thanks Newegg. |

I bought two and they perform fantastic for my application! None.. except they could be a couple of dollars more affordable or had no cost shipping. Items like this could be sent 1st class mail less costly. At the same time 2GB cards are beginning to get scarce... I use these for audio files in my 2008 Honda Civic EX's radio in conjunction with a Computer Card adapter. My program won't work with anything bigger than 2GB. |

Operates good in my Canon Digital Rebel. Much quicker read/write instances than the Lexar Media card I purchased with the camera 5 years ago. Card is NOT USB ready. My old Lexar card was USB prepared. Pop it into the card reader, and it came up just fine. Since this card is not USB prepared, I want a new card reader. |

Transfer Speed much better in USB/CF adapter --- Supported by Linux and NetBSD in 40ኈ pin USB/IDE adapters. Excellent price. Failure mode was gradual not catastophic...No data loss. After 3 months operation, the CF is not operational. Can\'t read ofr write it.This may well be a temperature associated failure...Suspect a connection is getting made/broken with thermal expansion (metal contactor) These CF are supposed to have a Limited Lifetime Warranty...by it will cost you additional of your time than it is worth in order to get a RMA replacement if it fails. |
Instantly upon inserting this into my Computer, and dumping the pfSense-Embedded image to this card, then throwing it into my Alix 2D3 board this worked flawlessly! Its not free of charge?
