I have an 8 gig sansa 200 series, A Sansa Fuse and a Sansa View. I use the 200 series at work , the Fuse in my car, and the View at home. They are all a good value. I move music from one to the other on micro sd. The only problems I have had is damaging the 200s at work. I only wish there were more accessories made for Sansas. ( carry cases, armbands etc ) The cost of all of them was less than one standard Ipod. Including replacing the 200 twice.

Had 2 iPods go south on me, vowed never to buy another iPod. Bought this and it works great, well over a year and no issues.

This is my fourth Sansa SanDisk mp3 player. Of the ten or more I bought from other companies in the past two years, all but one are kaput, while all my SanDisk players still work. I've used a C250 at least six hours a day for the past three years. My real review, however, is on your site. Ordered on Tuesday night, have it in my hands today (Thursday with free shipping). TigerDirect is the best!

I bought an e200 over a year ago and recently a 280 both refurbished. I have had no problems with either one. The battery life is very good and the intenal mic works ok for voice but does not pic up very well more than a foot or so away from the source. Sansa software doesnot work well with many audio formats but the device is great

I bought two of them. One for me and one for my son. The only function that works is the music will play. No Pics, No Video, no support.

I bought a Sansa E280R (Rhapsody) at a local store a number of years ago and paid over $100 for it. It worked great, right up to the time I sat down on the floor with it in my back pocket, the plastic display broke and that cracked the LCD display (lesson learned - don't carry it in your hip pocket!). Found the refurbish units here and have now purchased 5 (one for myself and four others). They work great but the slowness at start up bothered me until I found Rockbox, problem solved!

I have a 4 gig (also a refurb) and love it. It works great after all the cheep mp3s I've had. It has taken quite a bit of abuse and still works. Music sounds great in phones or over my home stereo. Navigation is sensible; record works well on fm or voice. I like my player so much I bought the 8 gig for my brother-in-law. My only hesitation on the new 8 gig player is the fast forward function. Probably a software issue. I updated firmware in the 8 gig and now in ff it plays snippets of the passage; this slows the ff a lot. My old one has a progressive ff that can go through a 12 hr. audio book in less than 5 minutes. It starts at 10 sec per sec and slowly speeds up to about 30 sec per sec.

I have had the 4 Gig version of this for about 3 years. I bought it refurbished from this site. The only problem I have had is the Lock Button is a bit flaky. Other than that no problems. To those who don't like the OS, there are alternative third party OS's out there.

I have gone through two of these already. They freeze up and nothing helps to bring it back to life. Because it's refurbished There is no customer service. It a pain to operate and you have to through many windows and screens to find anything.

I bought my second e280 Sandisk. The MP3 player looked great, and worked. BUT, the battery only had about 30% of its capacity to recharge remaining. I ended up replacing the battery in about a week. Now, it works fine, although, of course, all these MP3 players aren't as intuitive as the ipod series.

Have had no problems, holds a load of stuff, is expandable, easy to use, and was really cheap!! Also sounds good too, although you might want different earbuds, but these work just fine. It was also E280v2

Bought this from my granddaughter. She had an 2 gig IPOD which broke. For the price, this MP3 seem to have plenty of space and I knew how to download music. My grandaughter

The Sansa e280 is a great product with lots of memory to hold songs. Also has the long battery for a casual person who doesnt listen to it all day long with out rechargeing it. It also has very good music and radio quality and doesnt require software to charge or put music on the Sansa. I'd say it is a steal for the money it costs!

I love this unit. I bought the refurbished system with the V1 firmware and installed the Rockbox open source operating system to obtain an enhanced menu of features. I have over 1000 song tracks installed. This consumes about half of the 8GB storage. If I choose to install images and video, I have a 16GB additional memory plugged in.

I bought the first one and it didn't work. Replacement unit didn't work. The third one finally did. It's a nice little unit for the money. Sounds good and looks good. But the controls are really not user friendly and you can't erase tunes from the unit - you have to do it from a computer. But overall, would buy it again.

mine has not worked well, to say the lease. I've owned a few, and this player is by far the most temperamental. Sometimes it will decide to work, sometimes not. Stops playing out of nowhere and is a very slow loader. Controls are clunky and not user friendly. If I could return it, I would.

After correctly upgrading my firmware using Sandisk tool, radio doesn't function. Contacted customer support, but it's been 3 weeks and they haven't responded. Do yourself a favor, get an ipod.

I purchased this for my 16-year-old son. The first one I purchased had to be sent back as it quit within the first week. But there was no problem sending it back and getting a new one right away. The second one has worked great and he is enjoying his music once again!

Great product, my first experience with brand and not disappointed. Only two things I would improve upon. First being able to delete a song from list without computer. Second FM radio reminds me of the first transistor radios from the 1960's of fading in and out and static but I can live with it since it is a feature I dont use often

Simple and easy to use. Too bad there is not as much 3rd party support for these as there is for the iPods. That's the only problem I find. Sound and image quality is good. Great that the battery is easy to replace, just in case... This is a great price as well. The units (ordered 2) were in perfect condition. No disks or docs were included, but they are available on line, as is the media convertor and firmware upgrades. Can still get some accessories on line (e.g. eBay). Have 4 of these between me and my kids. Have had two of them for more than a year with no problems.
