Bought this for an upgrade to get an old dell dimension 3000 up to par for Windows 7. Added 2 gig of kingston ram and this card. That's all it took. Runs Windows 7 good. Hooked it up to a new 20 inch dell monitor via dvi to HDMI. (required an adapter). Looks good. |

daughter got Sims 3 for Christmas, and the intergrated video on her 3-4 year old Dell hacked up a lung when I tried to load it. Anyways the selection of PCI capable cards that supports Sims 3 is limited and I chose this card because it was the most bang for the $$$ for the video upgrade on her PC. I got a 1GB sticks of Ram at the same time also for the Sims 3 present. Well the Video card works GREAT and she can finally play her game she got for Christmas and it only cost dear old dad $125 - lol |

I bought it for my aging computer with 250 watt p.s. and it runs win7. Performance rating of 3.3, which is the lowest in my system. I wanted to run the s-video out to my tv, but it doesn't work. Sparkle suggests an external force recognition thing. s-vid out to this tv works with other computers I've tried. Also had a problem initially trying to load the software. I think it's not specifically for win7. It runs Peggle Delux and cars a bit choppy, but adequate. For the money, I would have bought a more powerful unit, but I appreciate that it's quiet and works with the existing power supply. |

Got it yesterday, Followed the directions and away I went. Works like a charm on my old gx520. Just so you know the upgrade if you go to ms update page is 42 MB. It works and looks great.
