Relatively quiet, at least as far as airflow goes. Didn't move much air. Noisy due to vibration.

I had a crazy notion to replace my 60mm CPU fan on my old second Computer with this, works like a charm. The original was a 10mmx60mmx60mm stock cooler fan, noisy like a tiny engine was in there... I had to drum up some lengthy screws from my spares to thread via the fan housing to the cooler fins but it works fantastic, and a lot quieter! It's a little louder then I had hoped, but is nonetheless light-years ahead of my original. I have this paired with a 120mm version of this fan I bought at the retailer right here in town. Wonderful ROI for my knowledge, hope it lasts as extended as the 120mm has!

Incredibly low noise for it's size.Involves 3 pin Mobo-> 4 pin PS adapter 60mm fans are noisy, go larger if you can. The reviewers who complain the 60mm is not as quiet as the 80mm must recognize that it is Significantly a lot more hard to make a quiet 60mm fan. ALL 60mm fans are noisy. The Stealth is significantly quieter than any other 60mm fan I have attempted. I place it in a DirecTV/Tivo Series two DVR, and it is a significant improvement over any of the many other 60mm fans I attempted. I'm operating it off the 7v MoBo connector and it is running about 2 degC cooler than the stock fan. This is about as fantastic as it gets at 60mm!

Really quiet - not precisely silent. Seemingly good building high quality (as far as plastic fans go). Nice versatility (installs in each your MoBo's three pin energy plug and comes with an adaptor to be hooked up to your energy supply's four pin plug) Somwhat awkward depth makes it tough in specific applications. Also, the screws which the fan comes with are only suitable for case mounting (not heatsink mounting). I had to drill out the screw holes slightly to get some older fan screws to operate with this model For the cost, this fan may be really hard to beat. In a completely silent application, this fan will not cut the mustard. However, if you are just replacing a factory installed fan, this will suffice very nicely. I replaced my factory fan on the heatsink for my processor. I had to do some doctoring, but ultimately got it installed. I haven't checked the case to see about how my temp is undertaking, but the case (behind a closed door in my residence theater) is now virtually silent - this is compared to the "leafblower" I had in there ahead of. Overall, you can't go incorrect for the funds.

Fan wires are long enough to support many distinct case and motherboard combos without having issues. Four pin molex connector adapter is nice in case your m/b connector is not obtainable. It's not quiet enough for an HTPC. Used for a replacement case fan in an MSI nettop Computer. The stock fan had a reduced CFM but ran constantly. This 1 has additional air flow but continually cycles on and off for cooling. Not a fan but a motherboard handle challenge. Comparing max speed fan noise of this fan to the stock fan, this 1 is louder.

Comments: It's seriously quiet, so if you want to make your case silent that's the right choose.Simply because it spins preety slow it won't essential blow out a lot of air.Can be a hassle to install the screws.

Bought this to replace the NB fan on the EVGA 750i F-T-W board. - Significantly quieter.- Airflow for rpm seems to be superior than the stock fan.Stock fan: I had to run at 30% of its max 5400rpm, which is 1620rpm. NB heat sink temp = about 45CThis fan: Ran at 60% of its max 2700, which is also 1620rpm. NB heat sink temp = about 37C o_O Kinda thick ྐྵmm). Barely fit beside the OCZ vendetta CPU heat sink. Make certain you measure very first. Now I can lastly sleep without the whine from my Pc! :)

Silent, Effective, Comes with all accessories, Price Shipping could be lower I had purchased a generic 60mm fan for my exhaust in my old case. That thing blew a LOT of air out but was noisy as hell.. It was sold as 'quiet' so I realized correct there and then that I couldn't trust these ratings anymore. For me, anything over 20dba is loud.. So I set out in search of the quietest 60mm fan I could come across that also moved some air.. and there is no competitors.. the Vantec Stealth wins by a mile. The fan comes in nice packing.. the added bonus is the 3 pin to molex converter and mounting screws..although I couldn't use them and choose zip ties as an alternative. Now my computer system is silent once again and the fan is undertaking it's job. I may well require to replace my Energy Provide fans now to make the entire rig truly quiet.

Excellent value, quiet. I wouldn't thoughts shielding about the energy cable, but a cable tie did the trick. I used this fan as an uncomplicated replacement for the stock fan which comes on the northbridge for the 780i SLI f t w. I utilised two cable ties to bind it to the leading left/right corners of the nb heat sink and every thing seems to be AOK.

It is quieter than some other fans I've come across... It's essentially not as quiet as I was hoping. I could certainly hear these things. I'm a silence monger and these just did not cut it. I got these to replace the fans on a new energy provide I purchased, however, the power provide fans had been already substantially quieter than these. The airflow is also not excellent, but that's to be anticipated for a quiet fan this little. I want I knew of another 60mm fan that is actually quiet. not impressed. I sold them back on the web in much less than a week.

It's quiet if you can get it to function, it came intact, and it fits. What a faulty solution. I'm not even going to tell you why.. just wait till you get it property. Should have been advertised as a computer-themed paperweight, or even a stapler would have been a better description than what was provided. The only purpose I'm not sending mine back, is since I can afford 7 dollars. But I'm not at all satisfied with this thing.

Incredibly quiet, decent cable length, 3-to-four pin adapter often integrated 3-to-4 pin adapter always incorporated (I throw nearly all of them away) I agree with the previous reviewer - there isn't a far better 60mm fan out there than this a single. Yes, you will pay a bit much more for Vantec Stealth fans, but you won't be replacing them in a year or two either. I buy this brand/model almost exclusively, except in the 80mm size. C00ler Master makes an excellent 80mm ball bearing fan that is half the price tag and is just as great & quiet.

Runs quiet none While quiet is a relative quality, this is the quietest fan I have ever (not) heard. The CFM is a bit low, but when you just need a breeze it's ideal.

Blows air. Quieter than the on-board fan on my K8NDL so a bit difficult to judge PSU nonetheless ramps up its noisy fan really often. Perhaps not substantially to be carried out for it anyway Added a second CPU to my K8NDL. Needed a new PSU to do so (Replacing an really quiet Fostex). PSU then began to regularly ramp up its loud fan. Added a 80mm case fan and decided to replace the 60mm fan that was currently there as it was only two-pin. Didn't seem to support with the PSU although. May well attempt an alternative PSU as this might get annoying as the summer time comes around.

I got fortunate, as I did not read the size of the fan when I purchased it: 60x60x25. It just barely slid in involving the EVGA 750i Northbridge heat sink and the CPU heat sink, but it match. I have my Q6600 OC’d, and this fan keeps my NB cool with out any noise what so ever at max RPMs. No cons. We are fantastic here. The stock EVGA Northbridge fan for a single was incredibly loud and 50% speed, let alone 100%. In addition, it was also blowing the air Exactly, Proper ON top my 8800; the exact place exactly where the GPU resides. Due to the fact of the stock fan, my 8800GTS’s idle temperatures rose from 47c to 58c, an 11-degree improve because of the hot air that was being blowing on the card. Now I have the fan blowing directly towards the CPU heat sink and the air pushed out the back.

This fan is super silent, low-cost and has lasted me a even though so far. I utilised this fan to replace the loud stock fan that came with my EVGA 780i North bridge fan and it kept it a lot cooler. I then used it to replace the low efficient stock fan on my EVGA 790i FT W Digital board and this fan was fairly and additional effective. I used tape to maintain it attached. No cons that I can consider of. It has served me well Wonderful for the buck.
