Cons: In line volume controller feels extremely cheap compared to the rest of the headsetDon't rest properly on ears if you have a large head

Pros: Well-styledInteresting use of 4 drivers per ear
Comment:
These headphones come very close to being great but a few flaws leave them feeling satisfactory when they are offered at a discount. If you're looking around at professional reviews keep in mind that these are the Sirus S, not the Sirus. This means you do not get a USB only option(with decent sound software) and that the in-line volume control is much lower quality.I'll start with what is nice:- Their sound is quite balanced and I really enjoy that they are sensitive in the mid range and not overly bright up high- They are very comfortable and the flexible mic is a nice touch. - The chord and headset feel very well built and a usb connector provides power to red emblems on each earpiece as well as an indicator light on the mic.- They come with a nice carrying bag.The complaints:- I wear L/XL hats/helmets and the ear cups do not sit flush at the bottoms of my ears...so unless I hold them down I lose a lot of the low end sound. (This is the only set of headphones I have had this issue with...a touch up with a dremel would give them a proper range of motion to sit flush so I wish Cooler Master would have done the same)- The in-line volume control feels extremely cheap, I've had a similar feeling in-line volume control before and daily volume adjustments wore it out within months, if you are hard on your stuff this may be the point of failure on an otherwise beefy set of headphonesIn the end:I'd buy them again at a discount. If you're going in at full price then perhaps the Sirus is a better option for a bit more money. Or maybe even just going with a set of headphones that simulate surround sound if you plan on using on board audio. I'd been using my Realtek onboard audio because it sounds great unlike what onboard used to mean but getting it to work with these headphones has been a huge challenge. In games the rear channel sound is ~10% of front channel so in the case of a Helicopter circling you it sounds miles off when it's 50 feet behind you and suddenly 50 feet away when it moves to the front channel. I'm also unable to get it to use more than 2 channels for stereo signals leaving the headphones lacking for music enjoyment as only 2 of the 8 drivers are producing sound. That's not the headphone's fault but it is something to keep in mind.

Cons: Need usb adapter for control, usb adapter takes 2 usb slots.

Pros: Very Comfortable. Bought it at $49.99 straight from CM. Good feel quality
Comment:
I just bought these weeks ago straight from CM as they had it on sale for $99.99 and had an extra 50% off of their headsets. Sound quality for music is mediocre and does not have that crisp treble to it. Bass is decent and could be boosted using their USB adapter controller. As I listen to music more than gaming, I felt a lack of audio quality. They did name it a gaming headset and it works pretty well when I play BF3 and other games that utilize surround sounds. Microphone volume output is a bit weak although I love how it mutes when you put it up. Overall, pretty solid although not sure about the price-quality at its non-sale prices.
