No matter what is said, a system should still have a DVD burner. Installing Windows still requires it. What more can be said. It spins fast, it burns DVDs, both single and dual layered, and it reads them as well. |

Seems like you still always need a player/burner in your comp for something and this plays what ever I put in it, rights to disc fine for me . not much else to say would buy agiain if needed. |

I feel that as long as dvd drives are sata and not IDE, whatever the cheapest option you can find will do. This worked out of the box and was all I was expecting. |

It runs fast and quiet. I didn't have any error reading or burning disc. I wish it came with a cable that would of been nice. I've had 4 samsung and none of them ever gave me problem. For $16 on sale, you can go wrong, no complaint. Would definitely but again. |

This Sata burner is pretty good for the price when on special. Althouhg It does a small noise once you open the tray which seems to be normal, I have nothing bad to say about this drive, it does what's it is supposed to do, overall I'm happy with those burners. |

Can't say anything bad about the drive. It's better than the other ones I have bought. No bugs, no lockups, no software issues, nothing. I like that you are able to write lower than 4x (2.5x I believe?), which is great for burning system discs with lowest possible errors. |
