This drive is ok, If I had to do it over again I might look for a Pioneer. I'm kinda a fan of their DVD drives. Problem I had with this drive was it was in PLO mode and I had a hell of a time figuring out to make it run with DMA. On PLO the speed was under 2x for read and write, not it's much better. Using Windows XP x64. Overall it's an ok drive, but it didn't impress me too much. Speed is ok and it's still kinda loud. |

Not much to say it does the job and for the 15$ I got it for I can't complain. It's not ground breaking but if you just need a cheap DVD player, which I did for my new computer which is SATA only then you can't go wrong with this. |

Good functioning drive that ships as an OEM unit. All I needed - completely satisfied with the product. Bought to install windows and burn a few discs. Sticks out of my bay slightly which is a little unfortunate. |

Works as it should, very pleased with it! No problems whatsoever, it's what you would expect from a DVD drive.
