Cons: None I could find

Pros: Isolate vibrations well.
Comment:
I've used these both in my HTPC case and in my desktop computer case. They isolate well the fan from the casing.Highly recommended if you want a computer that's quiet.

Cons: none

Pros: SoftEasy to stretch and installGood quality
Comment:
I bought these a few weeks ago at $4, and considering the quality, I'd say they are worth that much. These are much better than the regular little plastic mounts that come with some fans. They are really soft and do a great job at absorbing any vibrations that your fans may produce, so they definitely do the job. Because they are long and very stretchy, the were very easy to install. They also come in a very nice little box (which will end up in the garbage anyway, but nevertheless, they come in a very nice box This review was modfied by poster @ 12-06-08 04:07 PM

Cons: Expensive

Pros: Soft and stretchyEasy to install
Comment:
Very effective for fans mounted on thin case side panels and for isolating vibration from fast spinning fans. They seem to be able to stretch double the normal length without tearing although I could see them possibly tearing if stretched excessively too many times.

Cons: almost completely unnecessary.

Pros: Keep fans nice and quiet
Comment:
These silicon mounts are very nice. They keep all vibration away from the case, and keep down noise. For most fans, this won't be a problem, but they are nice to have if you need an absolutely quiet case, or if your case rings like a gong.

Cons: none found yet

Pros: Good little silicon fan mounts
Comment:
These are great little things. Free with NCIX points too. I have a ton of points, and they'd go to waste if I didn't use them for something. These silicon fan mounts are quick and easy to use, and help reduce vibration and noise.3.99 might be a bit stiff, but I would still put that down if I was looking for a silent build. Free with points if you want quiet is a no-brainer.

Cons: none

Pros: Cheap and flexible unlike some other silicon mounts i have experienced
Comment:
Comes in great packing and are very flexible i must say. A few other silicon mounts i have tested snap when i pull them too hard, but these stay intact.

Cons: Only negative thing might be that some would like it at a lower price but that's just being picky. There's no real negative about it. You do have to think about your application before using these as replacing the screws on your heatsink fan with these might be difficult or impossible to do.

Pros: 4 all black silicone fan mounts; these units should work in both open chassis/screw holes and closed chassis/tunnel/screw holes; extremely flexible can stretch 2-3 times its native length; Absorbs a lot of vibration; far easier and faster to install and remove vs regular screws. Was on sale for $2.99!
Comment:
Like all my positive praise for these everyone should get some, they're great and if you have a fan that's vibrating a lot then this might just get rid of that rattling.

Cons: That won't change any noise level if you have a good case or low-rpm fan

Pros: Help the case to be more silent
Comment:
If you have high rpm fans that make a lot of noise or a very very poor computer case (light metal that make a lot of vibration) this silicon mounts are for you. Don't put this if you have a low-rpm fan (like 800 or 1000 rpm fans) it won't change near anything.

Cons: none

Pros: they workfairly easy to install
Comment:
I needed these to hook up a 120mm fan to the back of my Sonata II case after the fan that came with it started to break down and make my entire PC and desk rattle with vibrations. Not much to say about these except that they seem to work well. I would likely pick up another set for my front case fan should they happen to go on sale, as $1 per peice of silcon seems kind of high, but probably worth it considering how much they help.

Cons: uh ...none?

Pros: They work, if you need them.
Comment:
My case has a thin back wall, that would rattle when the fans cranked up a bit. These guys made it stop. What can I say? They work.

Cons: - none

Pros: - very soft and flexible- very strong- easy installation
Comment:
These things can stretch a lot without permanently deforming, making installation easy. Actually I found that it reduced the vibration from my case fans slightly, despite what other reviewers are saying. If you're looking for fan vibration dampers then for $3 you can't go wrong. Recommended.

Cons: -sort of pricey, but still fairly reasonable in my opinion.

Pros: -soft-easy to mount
Comment:
If you're looking at these then you already know what they do. I first came across these b/c they were included with a B/W Nexus 120mm fan I bought and they're awesome. They are much softer (almost gummy bear like) and easier to mount than the soft fan mounts included with the Noctua NF-S12-1200 that I bought previously. The brown Noctua ones are much harder and a major pain to pull the barb through the fan holes on the fan to lock them in place. These Nexus ones are also better than the soft fan mounts that come with the Sonata II.

Cons: kind of expensive?

Pros: soft yet strong
Comment:
these are exactly what one would expect them to be. the ones that i got that came with the computer case were not strong enough and when i pulled them through the case, one of them just broke off w/o using scissors. these work like a charm =)

Cons: A bit niche.

Pros: I haven't torn any yet so I guess they're strong enough to take some abuse.
Comment:
These won't *really* reduce the vibration/noise from your fans much (unless you have a really shaky aluminum case or something), and so these are more of a niche product. That said, I knew this when I bought them, and I have a heavy steel case and bought them anyway....and I probably would again, especially if I ever use a high RPM fan.
