Cons: Can breakCould be longer

Pros: Securely mounts fansSoft enough to eliminate vibration transmission to case
Comment:
I installed three Antec True Quiet Pro fans - these came with very soft black rubber grommets and were a joy to install.I'm not sure why Antec doesn't sell those grommets separately instead of these ones. These are very good but they only mount through one hole (they're not long enough to mount through both fan frame holes to the case) and they're made of somewhat harder, more fragile material. They do mount the fan securely and do work well at eliminating vibration transmission to the case, but the material just isn't as tough and I had one snap on me while installing. It was just the tail end, so no big deal. One advantage these do have is that the "shoulder" which pops through the hole is wider due to its channelled design which folds as you pull it through. It therefore has more surface area to grab on the other side, holding the fan a bit more securely than Antec's other design. These still work quite well, but if you get an Antec True Quiet Pro fan you'll see how they could be better.

Cons: None

Pros: StrongThey work as advertised
Comment:
They work as advertised. They're strong. I've only used 4 of them out of the 32 I bought. The only issue people might have with these is they do not work when using them with fans with solid corners. You will need to have open corners in order to secure the fan properly.

Cons: Although its slim design enables it to fit smaller case holes, it's also its weak point.

Pros: Smaller, thinner than most grommets. Silicone is also tougher, resistant to breakage and slippage.
Comment:
1. Do not plan to re-use these.2. Buy 500% more than you expect to use.3. Use a wrench covered by a sock to pull on them.4. Careful pulling, make sure the holes on your case are big enough.5. If hole is too small, make little cuts in the grommets. They're just grommets. They don't hold very tight, so if it's a GIANT side fan you're mounting, I'd go with another grommet.

Cons: Silicone is tougher than that found in other grommets.

Pros: Inexpensive compared to other fan grommets. Minimize fan vibrations.
Comment:
I bought these after using Zalman fan grommets for quite some time. I like these more because the tougher silicone seems to stand up to mounting and dismounting of fans much better than the grommets made of softer materials.

Cons: the plastic end sticks out pretty far, makes panels look ugly.

Pros: soft, easy to install.
Comment:
well these do reduce vibration, the vibration of my side panel is not as noticable from my two 2000rpm fans anymore. the design of these grommets actually have the long end sticking out of the panel, so it will not look as good. after installing the fans i cut off the remaining ends of the grommet, and it actually looks better without a long pointy end. Cons: - The design of the lengthy part of the silicone absorbers sticks out if you're using it at the side intake or at the exhaust viewable position.- These grommets feel a little harder compared the Nexus brand.

Pros: - Marketed to reduce fan vibration.- Sale price.
Comment:
This is the first time I'm using Antec's fan absorbers and I would have preferred to use these in any case fan position without the lengthy part of the silicone mount sticking out as an eyesore. Too bad Antec reversed their design compared to Nexus mounting design. (You'll understand if you used both products.)

Cons: I don't understand why fan grommets (in general) are made the way that they are. They are often pretty hard to get into the hole properly (if you have a tight situation), and require a fair amount of force to apply.A little bit expensive for what you get.

Pros: Sturdy design that is slightly easier to push into fan holes than competitorsDoes significantly reduce vibration from fans.Nice clear color
Comment:
Fan grommets are a great way to reduce the noise from your fans (more specifically the vibrations that are translated to your case housing). However, for some reason, they make these pretty difficult to install (IMHO). This is true for all of the fan grommets out there, not just this particular set. However, the sturdier design of these grommets (not too squishy) makes them slightly easier to install. All in all, I would buy these again.
