Cons: only async NAND, not as fast as sync NAND.

Pros: relatively cheaper to get. Great everyday performance.
Comment:
relatively cheaper to get. Great everyday performance. only async NAND, not as fast as sync NAND. But for everyday use it is just as good as Vertex 3.

Pros: Extremely FastPlenty of Space for a boot driveEverything you would expect from an SSD
Comment:
Good for a SSD, like the 6 GB/s speed, it rates 7.8 out of 7.9 on Windows 7. An excellent purchase for a boot drive.

This is my first SSD and after a lot of research figured for what I needed this would be ideal, got it on sale for $119 after mir so the price was right. So far it's been great, i plugged it in, installed windows and all my programs in a fraction of the time in would normally take.

Cons: It doesn't come with a 3.5" bracket.

Pros: Fast
Comment:
My Solid3 came with firmware 2.13w, so I didn't have to install anything. I am not even tapping the full potential of my drive. I am on an old nForce4 chipset (no AHCI, SATA II only), and the HDD gave it a new lease on life.So far everything has been smooth. No BSOD, no hang, and the install was quick an painless. The $20 MIR ($18 effectively)came in already, but I opted for the quick rebate which cost me an extra $2.

Cons: BSOD

Pros: CheapLooks Good
Comment:
I hardly give any rating below 3 stars but I would gladly give this one a 1 star if I could. I got two of these, first one BSOD on the get go, second one BSOD within 24 hours. Returned them both for Crucial C4. The price of this OCZ reflects its quality. If you want to get this, buy it with some Advil.

Cons: Took a while setting up

Pros: FastGood support
Comment:
With all the news lately about OCZ I was skeptical about purchasing this product. I needed a large SSD when building my new rig and opted for this due to budget constraints. This drive is fast! IOPS doesn't really matter for me. I use this as a boot drive and it, so far, is working wonders. I hope I do not run to any of the reported problems though!

Cons: -Not much, just make sure you update  the firmware before using it as a main.

Pros: -Quit fast for the price-Lots of space for a boot drive and a few here and there applications-One hell of a bang for your buck right now.
Comment:
Pros and cons say it all really. Great little drive. I'm running on sata2 unfortunately, but will be upgrading when Bulldozer comes out. Performance is still quite good considering the bottleneck I'm under. Considering it's supposed to be about as fast as the Vertex 3's but $60 less, I'd say it's worth it.Highly recommended.

Cons: Failed on me after 5 days.Blue Screened a few times.

Pros: FastCheapWorks GreatEasy to InstallSmall and Compact
Comment:
This was a great SSD for the short time I had it. It was extremely fast and it made my computer so much faster. It was all good until the blue screens started up. On day 1 everything was going great. When it came time to transferring my 60Gb iTunes library everything changed. The drive must have blue screened on me 4 times. I didn't worry about it cause it said saving data on my computer and then rebooted. For the next couple days it was fine until today when it blue screened and died on me. I only used it for about 20 hours in total and now I have to RMA it back to NCIX. Was a little upset but thats what I get for going with a cheaper SSD.

Cons: Not as fast as Agility 3 and Vertex 3Needed to upgrade firmware, came with 2.06, you'll need to upgrade to 2.11 to avoid BSOD and slowdown

Pros: PriceOCZ 3rd gen so still fast
Comment:
After upgrading firmware this is a strong drive for a budget build. Cheapest out of the newer SSDs out. I say budget build even though most leave out an SSD - I feel like a modern build without an SSD is just gimping yourself. The price/performance ratio after upgrading is simply astronomical. You'll need to upgrade firmware. OCZ tech forum will have instructions on how to do it. If your OS is on the SSD, you can load a bootable linux OS on a flash drive which will upgrade the firmware, easy instructions.

I bought a agility 3 120GB & solid 3 120GB. Running the AT SSD benchmark, I got higher scores on the solid 3. Both using the Asrock Z68 Extreme 4, Windows 7 64 bit & Corsair XMS3 memory. The OCZ FW was the same.Looking at the benchmarks, the agility 3 was within the norms. I guess I got a faster solid 3.
