OK so when I first so these I thought huh... genius eh... 3 way driver and wood cabinet for $55? Couldn't possibly sound any good.I was wrong. I bought these out of curiosity. For a cheap set of speakers these things have excellent imaging. Great highs and surprising mids. Of course being only 4" drivers they lack in the bass department and have no low end extension to speak of but the woofer can handle some pretty high excursion without distorting and there is no weird roll off. They do sound a bit boxy (or muddy) but rolling off the bass a touch rectify's that for the most part. Obviously made very cheap. Materials used are of very cheap quality. The port is a paper port (like a toilet paper roll) and they are not very heavy.I can't overly recommend them as I would say spend $200 and get something actually really good but for $55... you can not go wrong with these. They sound better close together rather then far apart.
