Cons: Pricey
Pros: Intel branded controller, good firmware, rock solid. Comment:
Intel SSD are more expensive than other branded SSDs, and are also slowers in benchmark. BUT, Intel uses their own branded controller in their 320 SSD series. Other SSD manufacturers uses Marvell, Sandforce, JMicron controllers in their drive, but they are all flawed product. Some have random BSOD, some have deep freeze issue.Intel 320 series are the ONLY SSDs at the moment that to not have any problems. Intel controller is rock solid, and as an IT technician I wouldn't use anything else until the competition fixes theirs bugs. For quality/stability, you won't get anything better than an Intel 320 series.I've had to use 12 of them at work for various project and customers, they have been working nicely without any issue.Just bought 3 more for my personal use, I've upgraded my Mac Mini with it and with the TRIM Enabler application I was able to enable TRIM under Snow Leopard. The other two are running in RAID0 in a PC and the performance is simply amazing.Intel SSD Toolbox(downloadable freely from intel.com) is easy to use and let you watch the S.M.A.R.T. status of your SSD, activate TRIM, and align partition if ever needed.I would recommend to anyone upgrading an HDD to an SSD to make a fresh install of their OS so that the partition allignment be perfect from the start. |

Cons: Small capacity
Pros: Fast, easy to install. Intel migration software. Silent. Cool. Comment:
Just installed this into a Dell Vostro 3750 as the primary drive with Win 7 Pro, I5-2430 and 8 Gb PC3-10600 (1333). Boot up times are counted in mere seconds to the Windows Desktop from cold start. Amazing. The Intel Migration software can be downloaded from the Intel website and is very easy to use. Migration from a 500 Gb conventional drive to the 80 Gb SSD was seamless and error less. This drive is fast. Although small in capacity, this drive will run Win 7 Pro with XP environment easily. If you can get away with runn ng a small SSD and use an external drive through USB3 for data storage, I highly recommend the Intel drives. |

Cons: Price? There's cheaper SSDs, but Intel has always being very reliable
Pros: FastReliableSSDs! Comment:
Got these to mount an OS onto, they're fast, reliable and make start up great for a server. |
I bought one of these for a family members computer a few months ago, and another for myself the other day.So far no problems with either, seem to boot faster than some of my older OCZ Agility SSD's.
