Cons: Build quality, Finishing

Pros: Fast, Solid, Good price, No firmware issues
Comment:
First of all, Intel SSD is worth the money for its performance. I have used Kingston SSDNow, OCZ Agility 4 and this Intel 320. I liked Kingston and Intel SSD for it's build quality, speed and reliability. Both Kingston and Intel ran smoothly out of box, but OCZ was a world of trouble. Kingston I had for about 2 years now still runs smoothly, but I wanted a bigger capacity so I picked up Intel cause it was on sale for about $150. I haven't had any problem with it, did Prime 95, Everest stress test and had pc running for few days and everything looked fine. The reason I took a star off was the finishing of the drive was very very very disappointing. The front of the ssd was nice and shiny with Intel logo. However the back of the SSD was roughly machined. Intel did not buffer it at all, you can see machine mark easily. And it is very obvious that the front and back of the SSD were two different type of metal. I wish I could post a picture and you'll see the back of the SSD uses a completely different metal that is soft and with many many many scratches. It looked like a badly refurbished product (I bought it brand new). However, since this is only cosmetic so I'll take one star off. Maybe I just got unlucky and got a bad finished product. A little disappointed with Intel (btw really love the Kingston SSD finish).

Cons: Had some problems with Windows where it would hang on installation. Solved it quickly with a Google search.

Pros: Boots up in 7 seconds and can access programs instantly after startup. Best performance boost I've ever seen in a PC. Well worth the hefty pricetag.
Comment:
Make sure you download and run the system tweaking tools and Google what you need to know about SSD's if you've never owned one. My OS went corrupt after four months but it was my fault for not tweaking it properly. I think a lot of failures probably have to do with poor maintenance and setup on the user's part.

Cons: Price

Pros: Fast, Reliable and comes with a nice 5year limited warranty.
Comment:
Great drive for OS and games the fast drive allows for operating systems to boot in a matter of seconds and applications open so quick you'll wonder how you ever lived with the slower platter type hard drives that you can hear spin up and whine as it tries to keep up with the user.New 5 year warranty updated from the previous 3yr offers decent security in case the drive does fail during it's life but the higher price of Intel SSD drives is from the quality that goes into each drive. After 6months of usage as a primary drive and another 320 series for games, both drives are still at 100% estimated life remaining and a full green bar in the drives health. The price might keep some buyers away but for a drive I can expect to get at least 5 years of use out of, the high price is made up over the time that it will last.

Cons: It's not the fastest ssd out there

Pros: Great ssd. Bought for $149 with mir. Its fast, its furious. Did I mention its fast?Sure its not the fastest ssd out there.
Comment:
Overall a great reliable ssd with enough space for your os, your most used applications aka games + more. As with all ssds, the practical application comes when its combined with a large hdd.

Cons: Pricey when not on sale

Pros: Fast, silent, reliable (so far), easy mail-in-rebate process
Comment:
I went through several Corsair SSDs that failed (3 weeks for one SSD and 3 days for a second) and had to deal with their nightmare support. Eventually I received a refund from Corsair and bought two of these Intel SSDs during boxing week.Great deal and includes a cable and mounting bracket. I use one in my desktop PC (120GB) and the other in a laptop (80GB). Great performance and very reliable so far. Highly recommended.

Cons: - expensive and slow- short warranty- easy to get DOA

Pros: - fast- reliable
Comment:
I bought this to upgrade my laptop and found out it was efficient and worth the time replacing. It boots really fast in less than 3-4 minutes and I am surprised this is worth the money rather than buying hard drives. I would suggest purchasing this.

Comment:
For a SATA II ssd, this is not bad at all. There is definitely a major difference when I switched from my HDD to SSD. Performance is much faster and snappier. From what I learn, Intel SSD has one of the lowest return rates. 5 Year warranty from the Intel company is awesome. If it wasn't for the company's $70 MIR and some other IR deals, I don't think I would've purchased this. Overall, good quality, and definitely recommended for others.

Pros: Excellent speedEasy to installLight weight
Comment:
Major difference if compared with hard discs. Booting only takes less than 8 seconds and takes much less time for file management. Price dropped but still quite pricey. I suggest you to buy one of these as ur system drive. I got mine around 210 and still waiting for $70 mir.

Pros: fast, solid, reliable, worry free
Comment:
Bought this over OCZ/anything that used Sandforce because of the horror stories even despite the firmware update  it got. I didn't want to deal with headaches/RMAs so it was natural to purchase from intel as there were many rave reviews on the web.

Cons: some ugly dried paint on the top (looks like a half-finished product)pricerebate will be paid as american express gift card

Pros: fastcompact and light
Comment:
It comes with the latest firmware, hope it fixed the "8mb bug". Installed OS on the ssd, need a longer time to see how reliable it is. The paint job just looks gross.

Pros: Silent, most reliable SSD manufacturer currently with a 0.3% return rate (link in review)
Comment:
Fail rate on new intel drives is so incredibly low. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-reliability-failure-rate,2923-3.htmlClean and fast OS install. Hardware install went as planned, plug and play. Very sturdy look and feel to the drive. Excited to use this for long term. Enough space for OS and programs and still usable for a collage student.

Cons: Price too high. Intel price levels are established not geared to its loyal customer base but to keep its shareholders happy.

Pros: Fast ... but is it already replaced by the "3rd Generation" version?
Comment:
What is this Gen3 added to the product descrption. The one I bought in the last 30 days said nothing about 3rd Generation. Is it a different product? Is it just an added line to the same product? Or did I buy a product that is now only 2nd generation. What is the deal ... NCIX please explain!Thank you

Cons: - the bottom of the SSD was all smudged.

Pros: - Easy to install- Comes with mounting bracket, SATA cable, 4-pin -> SATA power cable, and a fancy sticker!- Has a plastic ring around the top that you can remove if you need a slimmer profile for a Laptop.
Comment:
Got this SSD on sale for 70$ off, only had it for 3 days so far but works great. Loading into BF3 games takes like 5 seconds now!

Cons: pricier than other SSD of same capacity

Pros: fastintel reliabilty5 year warranty
Comment:
Excellent SSD for $199 on sale. Probably the best upgrade I have done to speed up my PC. I have a 3Gbps SATA so I opted for the 320 series instead of the 510 series. Much faster than my Samsung F1 RAID-0 at booting Win7. The 4 "orbs" that make up the Windows logo doesn't even finish it's animation before the OS comes up, that's how fast it is.Package contains 3.5" adapter bracket, SATA cable, link to free migration software (based on Acronis True Image). Only con is that it's more expensive than other SSD brands of same size but you're paying for Intel's quality/reliability.
