Cons: -None so far.

Pros: Intel SSD :-Very High performances.-Very good price/capacity ratio.-Made by Intel.Like all SSD : -Zero noise.-Low heat.-Small, very small.-Very easy to handle.
Comment:
I was using a raid0 of raptors 74gb before and this is my very first SSD.I could say like everyone else that the performances are so great with these things, which is a fact, but I think the best thing about SSD's is the fact that they don't make any noise at all. It's so great.Sure it's not the best SSD out there nor it is a SATA-III 6Gbps SSD, but as a strictly price/capacity ratio, it's one of the best currently available.Thumbs up!

Pros: Fast. Stable. Everything is on-demand.

TO sum this up... 32 programs launched in 11 seconds. From turning the machine on to logging in to surfing the web takes a mere 20 seconds tops. I paid $400 for my 160GB and It was the best toy I bought for my new rig.

Cons: Price. You'll need an adaptor to mount this drive properly.

Pros: Fast speed, low heat output.

This is one *fast* drive. I'd upgrade all my drives in all my computers if it weren't for the high cost. I bought this on sale for $50 off the regular price, plus I received a cool little flashlight + screwdriver thingy. I'm never going back to the "old fashioned" HDDs ever again. Once you've experienced a good SSD like this one, every other drive operates at a snail's pace.

Cons: Broke my wallet :(

Pros: Very fast. Excellent random R/W performance compared to other SSDs.

SSDs are still quite expensive, but you do get what you pay for. This is one of the best SSDs money can buy right now. It greatly improved the overall responsiveness of my system.

A great upgrade for any computer! As the hard drive is the slowest component now and therefore the weakest link. Windows boots in seconds and applications run almost instant. In fact, the POST booting of computer is now the slowest LOL.

I have an X25-e and an X25-MG2. The G2 with the firmware update  is absolutely phenomenal. I installed my os on the E because of the longevity but honestly. Using the M or the E is literally faster than any upgrade you have ever done to your PC. I thought constantly upgrading videocards was the way but when the cards need to get more files/textures off of your HD that's when the game used to slow down a little but. Not any more. Everything is like butter! I highly highly recommend these two models over anything else on the market.

I had bad luck with another SSD vendor (256GB) which was delivered DOA. So, I went with this smaller drive from Intel. I was immediately impressed at how fast the drive is. My MacBook Pro boots up in 3 seconds now, from a minute. Applications launch nearly instantly as well.

I have this running in my 2009 Mac Pro occupying one of the optical bays. No problems whatsoever. After 2 months of continuous use it is still as first as the first day I got it. Everything feels snappierI'm glad I got the 160GB rather than the 80GB as I've put my Adobe Lightroom preview cache on the X25 and it has helped a lot over my WD Black 1TB. It definitely is the best investment you can make to speed up your computer.

I regularly upgrade my pc's with new graphics cards, faster processors, etc. My most recent upgrade (i7, win7-64, GTX 295, 8 gigs of ram) was taken to an all new level when I installed the intel X25M 160G SSD. The system is faster, everything launches instantly, my 12GB outlook OST file opens and searches instantly (like 1-2 seconds for a unique record). I know it has been said before but this has had the single biggest impact in my computing experience yet. Highly recommended.

Wow, these drives load programs ultra fast it's a whole different computer with this. Although I had no idea about SSD when I bought this thought I got ripped because there was only 149 GB but I guess it needs to use memory in order to work properly.

Cons: - Occasionally slower than HDD- Price is still steep- Too small to really store any personal files on

Pros: - Blazing fast...at times- Price per GB good compared to other SSDs- Nice capacity for system drive
Comment:
I have a typical light switch relationship with my X25 - On today, off tomorrow. The thing has moments of jaw-dropping speed (such as the blink-and-you'll-miss-it NTFS formatting), but it also had moments where I wonder if it's asleep in there.During my Windows XP install (I dual-boot with Win7), I encountered an error when copying DRIVER.CAB that I never encounter with my old HDD. It's possible this was due to a failing optical drive and unrelated to the SSD, but it still put a damper on my unbridled enthusiasm for the drive. This is without a doubt an amazing device, but its power seems artificially limited in some situations (apps don't load instantly, as promised). After reading all the glowing reviews, I was expecting more. Perhaps this was unfair of me. This review was modfied by poster l 12-31-09 02:02 AM This review was modfied by poster @ 12-31-09 02:17 AM

This is one of the most noticeable upgrades I have ever enjoyed. It is like stepping into a new era of computing. I only wish it were bigger and cheaper. Regardless, if you are buying a new rig, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't include an ssd.

Cons: Price is still highNot enough storage :p

Pros: Fast!Lots of space for windows and your favorite appsGood discount with Premier Partnership (Highly recommend)
Comment:
This is a very fast SSD and is perfect for an OS drive.I got it with a good discount with the PP price and anyone that buys a lot here is a fool if they don't get it because you will save much more than $150 for the partnership. Especially if you build computers for a friend. Now that I got that out back to this SSD. It is FAST! Has lots of space and is comparatively cheap to the other SSD's of its kind. There downside is it is still expensive for only 160 GB but I like to try new stuff and was too bored waiting for Fermi so wanted a new toy. This is a massive boost in performance and I love it.

Pros: One of the fastest drives you can get.

Installed on my Fujitsu T5010 tablet together with Windows 7. Performance increase is instantly noticeable. Windows boots in under 5 seconds is nothing short of a miracle these days, and this here is the one thing that can make it happen.Remember to check Intel's site for the new firmware update. They will provide a new TRIM firmware once they fix the bricking issue.

If you live on the computer for several hours a day working on high I/O applications (i.e. software development) this is a valuable add to make the whole computer snappier. This is coming from having RAID 0 WDC Velociraptors in my desktop and now adding this to my laptop.

Cons: Still a little expensive. But you get what you pay for here. Can't wait for the 320 Gig model.

Pros: Blazing speed.Completely quiet.
Comment:
This should be the number one item for anyone looking to speed up their system. Period.I'm using this as my system and application drive with Win 7. My boot times from a cold start are less than 20 seconds. Applications start instantly. Even web browsing is better due to faster cache access. Win 7 will support the SATA TRIM command for SSD drives which should fix the potential slowdown SSD's can face due to fragmentation. One tip: make sure you have your Motherboard set for AHCI rather than IDE SATA to unleash the full power of this unit.
