Other than the price of this SSD (like any other ssd the price will be high for awhile)

This drive is from the M series so not performance not value Eeditions. The X-25 extreme series is roughly 4 times as fast. ( Being much faster than sandforce and currently the fastest in world non pcie )This M is very good but I suggest v to save a lot of cash and not really lose much if any real world speed.But if you want best there is you need to goto the X-25E drives. |

This used to be the fastest SSD on the market. I believe SSDs with Sandforce are now on top.I have both this (2nd Gen) and the first gen. The 2nd Gen supports TRIM, so it should help the drive last longer.So far, no problems with the drive. I have Win7 and WoW installed on it. The drive is super speedy - it feels like a huge upgrade to my existing i7 920 system. I recently purchased an i7 740QM laptop with a 7200rpm drive and it feels like a slug. I can't go back to non-SSDs anymore! |
Not much to say other than its fast reliable and able to boot win 7 ult on 12 gb of 2000mhz (oc'd to 2056) in about 18 seconds. IM LOVING IT it may not compete against the new Sand tech based ssd'd but with 34nm tech this is all you need
