Cons: Price with respect to storage capacity.

Pros: Five year warranty
Comment:
The Five year warranty in a industry where two and three are common really stands out for me. Most people will upgrade prior to the expiry of the warranty anyway. I have had another for a week now I picked up off a bitcoin store so I ordered another from NCIX to fit my steam library.

Cons: - Wish I went for 240 GB.

Pros: - Boot up time is less than 10 seconds.- Price
Comment:
Bought this SSD when it was on sale. It can boot up the computer in less than 10 seconds which is nice when having to restart multiple times after installing updates for a new built computer. I regret not going for 240 GB though, because I almost used up my 120 GB on window's operating system, games, and programs. I love Intel's quality SSD and will have to buy 120+ GB in the future.

Pros: fast, reliable, 5 year warranty, intel tool box software
Comment:
Great drive. Makes Windows 8 bootup time less than 30 seconds. 5 year warranty is as good as it gets for ssd's. The retail box version also comes with a mounting adapter for 3.5" drive bays.

Cons: - Drive is having issues on windows 8 pro fresh install.- Occasionally real slow boot times over a minute.-

Pros: - Comes with mounting Bracket- Comes with Screws- Fast boot times- 5 year Warranty
Comment:
Might have a DOA one. Has various issues. Sometimes it takes over 1 minute to load windows 8. Other times it boots under 8 seconds. Out of hibernation i have a windows 8 loading screen frozen,, not always but has done it a few times.Performance could be better. I have my O/S save on here and a few games, and now boot up is crazy fast. My game would usually take about 30 sec to start up but on my SSD, it takes about 10 sec!I picked Intel cause they have less failure rate compare to the other SSD

Cons: None

Pros: Price, performance, reliability
Comment:
I purchased both the 240GB and 120GB versions on the Boxing Day sale mainly because they were priced so low. I have always heard how fast these SSD's were so I thought I would put one in each of my PCs. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the overall speed boost that I experienced. I also love the fact that they give you every accessory you need inside the box. I decided to go with Intel because they are supposed to one, if the most reliable SSD's on the market. If anything goes wrong, at least I have a 5 year warranty to back it up. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone. Worth every penny!

It can sustain a more steady fast transfer speed than my Mushkin. Big difference compare from HDDs. You will never turn back to HDDs for the OS drive.

Cons: Need to wait until it is on sale, a little pricy during regular price

Pros: Good performance!
Comment:
No more need to wait for boot up windows!Use this as system drive for W7 Ult. , very fast on boot up and shutdown! No complain so far.Although the price is a little higher than another brand, but it perform the wait I want it to. worth the money spent on it!This is my second SSD (first is the eeePC 80GB)and it becomes very slow now, hope the Intel don't have the same problem years later

Cons: SSD was in stock but took a week before it was shipped. Arrived the next day after shipping notice was sent. I was replacing a failed hard drive and was expecting to receive it within a couple business days. I am not sure if paying for the privilege of becoming a "more" valued customer would have helped. I have a problem paying a store more for better customer service when it they should be giving everyone the best service they possibly can.

Pros: Great Product. Fast and Easy to set up. Boot times drastically improved and programs open instantly.
Comment:
Received the SSD. Hooked it up to a free SATA port. Removed all other drives and USB devices. Configured the Bios for RAID mode on teh SATA ports. (could have used AHCI but I have two other drives in RAID and only one setting for all six ports). Re-installed Windows 7. Configured the settings with Intel SSD toolbox. Updates to Win 7 took over an hour to install 146 updates.

Cons: Expensive, low storage

Pros: Amazingly fast
Comment:
This thing is amazing. I installed all my program in like a quarter of the time. Comes with 5 year warranty which is great. Downside is that it's bloody expensive and low storage space but that's expected for early adopters and products that are not yet mainstream.

Great SSD. This is my first, so I decided to get the best. Very happy.. windows boots in a matter of seconds. Programs install very quickly. I don't have to deal with sandforce firmware problems. My only regret is not getting the 240GB version, 120 fills up really fast.

Cons: It's doesn't pimp out the CPU :-(

Pros: Noticeably faster.
Comment:
Dell Inspiron Duo (little flippable screen tablet toy), HDD died. Using this SSD to replace (Thank ITguy from YouTube) was easy as 8 screws. NOTICEABLY faster, on everything. Now this silly little Windows tablet is actually usable. Visual Studio 2010 usable. Not fast, but not annoyingly slow either. This SSD makes a workable difference. It was worth it.I chose Intel for peace of mind. From the box itself down to everything else, it was top notch. Heck, peace of mind is well worth paying 30 bucks more.My only regret is that is doesn't magically pimp out the puny Atom cpu in this thingy. BTW, for kids, this Inspiron Duo is great, comes with tons of kids app that they love. Just remember to get them to ship you the Windows CD once you buy it by calling back ;)GO FOR IT!Just buy it.

I've had this SSD for 3 months, absolutely no problem so far. My other Intel SSDs, some are one-year-old, and have been perfect. But considering most of us who have not figured out how to grow money on trees yet, other brands are worth a look, especially if you're using the SSD as an OS drive and have backups for critical data. Crucial, Mushkin, and Sandisk all look good. They give you the same size at half the cost.

Cons: The 2.5" > 3.5" mounting bracket that comes with this model does not align the connectors with standard 3.5" SATA headers. How hard would it have been for Intel to let this mount off-center, to ensure the connectors align to the standards?

Pros: Its an intel 520?
Comment:
Save the $10, buy the OEM Intel 520-120GB, forget the premium for a poorly thought out piece of metal, and a tiny cardboard box.

Comment:
When it comes to SSDs, Intel is a name I trust. While they use the SF controller, they don't have the same problems as all the other SF-based SSDs that have been reported.Other SF-based SSDs from OCZ and others have multiple reports of BSODs.When Intel began their work on the SF controller, they implemented their own driver which prevented the BSOD issue. I don't know enough about the details, but I trust Intel and I trust anandtech.http://www.anandtech.com/show/5508/intel-ssd-520-review-cherryville-brings-reliability-to-sandforceIn the article linked there, you can read about what exactly Intel did and the issues relating to the SF controller. Because instabilitiy from a disk drive usually means data-loss, I was more than willing to pay the extra cash to pick up the intel.
