Cons: SC stands for short cables

Pros: Silverstone high quality, durable and efficient
Comment:
Almost got caught with a "Short Cable" PSU. Didn't realize SC was Short Cable, but it all worked out int he end since it was for an mATX build.Unit works fine, and expected to be of same quality as the non-SC model that shares the same Part #, of which I run multiple of.

Cons: Not enough SATA connectors

Pros: Quiet, reliable, easy to work with, dual PCI-E connectors
Comment:
Bought to replace the quite frankly rubbish Dell Studio 350W PSU so I could run first an 8800GTS then a HD4890 graphics card. This review is therefore based on that case and my experience there.I needed a short cable PSU as the Studio case is small (mATX) and the existing PSU (some LiteOn thing) seemed to be made specifically for it. Getting the original PSU out and this in was the hardest part - but that was because of the case NOT the PSU.Otherwise, as far as installations go, it was remarkably easy. Short cables made it so much easier to get sorted in that cramped case. Having dual PCI-E connectors was definitely a boost too - though I would NOT recommend using it for SLI or CrossFire (you need much more than 550W for that!).Only problem was the idiotic SATA choices! There were 2 SATA connectors all the rest Molex (4 pin standard) and BOTH the SATA are on the SAME lead with a separation of about 4 inches i.e. too short to go to both a DVD and HDD. I then had to run round trying to find an Molex to SATA adaptor to get the HDD power. That's the only bad thing for this PSU and will only affect those people with an SATA DVD/CD drive. In the time I have had it, it has been fantastic. Quiet, cool. Done it's job with no fuss, easily copes with my Core 2 Quad 9550, 8GB ram, 750GB hdd, DVD drive and now a HD4890. In fact it has been so good that I will use this in the other Dell Studio I have if I have any more weirdness from it.
