Cons: non really

Pros: Fully modular, silent
Comment:
I was looking at this PSU after the review from SKY on HWC. For the price it seems to be one of the best 850 W out there and the fully modula is icing on the cake. Overall really satisfied.

Cons: Not free.Kinda old. (not updated model)The two 8-pin PCI-E connectors don't break into 6/2.

Pros: 850w.Modular.Stable.
Comment:
After chasing the modeular 850w from Corsair (which the site still says is in-stock, btw), i whittled the list down to this one.I'm pretty happy with it. This is my fist modular PSU and I'm loving the modular feature. all voltages are very stable, never swaying more than 3%. My 12v stays at a constant 12.1v, and almsot never deviates.I got it to run the secodn 5870 I'll eventually grab, and it's certain to be enough. The cables seem long enough, but matching my HAF 922 (a very large mid-tower already) and my DFI mobo - with it's 24v connector at the top-front - forced me to buy an extension for both the 12v adn 24v connectors. But i expected this problem, and bought them with the PSU. SO watch out for that. The item was well packaged adn includes a spiffy (and not cheap) bag to store your superfluous cables. But it's a little disheartening that the model doesn't seem to ahve been upgraded in a while My Box says 2006 on it... but Silverstone is a fine manufacurer and I'm not really concerned.

Cons: 1 sata power plug, connected to 2 cables with 3 sata power heads to one input on psu

Pros: Wicked Durability, Modular Abilities, black hides nicely, huge 120mm fan, indication light on the front.
Comment:
Best PSU Ever! Not a single issue with it, Modular is #1 a truck load of 6-pin pci-e connectors along with 2 (8-pin + 6-pin) cables, 4 molex, 1 Sata, breaks off into 2 with 3 heads on each. My case has molex power cables for it's fans and it was very simple to just plug them straight into the PSU instead of off a cable, and there are labels on the PSU so you can't screw anything up.

Cons: For better cable management, I wish the 6 SATA power connectors were on two separate cables instead of the single cable it's currently onSleeved cables don't go right to the conector, a little too short, aoubt 1/2 inch on each end.Physical dimensions are a bit larger the other PSU's.

Pros: High efficiencyModularOne of the few PSU's with 2x 8pin PCIe cablesGets the job done
Comment:
Overall great PSU, plenty of Amps on the 12V rail, havn't had any issues to date. There are a few issues on the web, but the majority of them seem to have been fixed with the 2.0 revision. Couldn't be happier. This review was modfied by poster z 09-30-07 12:31 PM This review was modfied by poster @ 09-30-07 12:23 PM

Cons: -Too deep for my next case

Pros: -Nice big wattage-Modular capabilities-Pretty price
Comment:
This is a really nice PSU and it's an amazing deal as far as I've seen. The modular-ness of it has cleaned up my PC a ton.As for the size, at ~18cm long, it seems a tad too deep to fit into an Antec P180. A review I read used a PSU that was 15cm and ended up having a few centimetres to spare, but the cables have to also be taken into account. It's probably an easy fix, but a problem nonetheless.

Review Date: 03/06/07
Cons: - CPU power cable too short

Pros: - Big power, more than enough for any build- Quiet- 100% modular- Nicely sleeved cables provided- 6-pin to 8-pin adapter for future vid cards- great price for 850watts
Comment:
While hardcore PSU enthusiasts insist that modular designs and multi-12v rails are a bad thing, I disagree. The good outweighs the bad IMO. This PSU comes with all the necessary cables, plus 2 additional 6-pin to 8-pin PCIe adapter cables. That, combined with 850W for $230CDN makes this a future proofing purchase I would recommend to anyone. My only complaint is with the CPU power cable. I am using this PSU within a Silverstone TJ09 case, so you'd think they'd give you a CPU power cable long enough to fit in one of their own cases. That being said, it's a tight fit for any bottom mount PSU case (unless the mobo is inverted too, obviously). Otherwise, I couldn't be happier. Great bang for the buck and I will only buy modular PSUs from now on.
